i'm a long time user of kavana's ROM, and i'm looking for the HTC weather application to install into my dash...
i have tried some of the weather apps, and i didn't like them so i just want to get the HTC weather cab
does anyone have it?

currently, to get htc weather you will have to flash a newer rom. Or use htc home with htc weather.

You mean for htc home? Check this thread, it has mods for it, but if you download from link at top of first post, it will have the htc home cab in the zipped folder as well.

yes i have searched for 3 days. I am in need of the htc splash screen cab (ruu) that will install the HTC splashscreen (with the sun coming over the earth)
thanks. Also if anyone has anymore HTC splashscreens let me see them. I am not interested in any non RUU cab installs or custom pictures out there. I only want HTC

That rising sun is very cool!
Curious why you don't make your own, it's super easy (little harder if you have to have the HTC insert) I have dozens on mine that I whip up in seconds....
I like that start-up image. i'll have 2 try it. I have been using this spalsh. HTC logo white background with animation and a quiet tone. sorry no pic. Can you uninstall the rising sun splash like you can with a cab program if you dont like it?

No cab since this is a rom os file... To change you would have to flash another splash over it. More info available in the WIKI.

you run the ruu in the foldar just like you would when you flash a custom rom.

Schaps 4.01 Lite or Full does not include the radio. if you wish to flash radio files, you may look under here:

All the files that are prefixed as HERM_Radinly_1.xx.xx.xx_CustomRUU.rar are Radio Upgrade files.
Make sure you have HardSPL installed prior to upgrading your device. Fail to do so may give you a bad-blocked radio flash and that means your device CANNOT be bootable at all.

Seems like a very responsive and quick ROM, changed the mailla bar to "panasha manilla HTC original" looks cool in white now plus I can make out what the icons are better.

Hi sutepm.
Yes installed it, then my 05 radio, seems very fast so far. Testing TomTom 7 on my way home from work.
Got 72 Mb free storage and 43 Mb free program memory with only a few small programs installed.

No O2 splash screen, just the green windows mobile version 6 screen..
Yor ROM is getting really tested now.

right so this means we have to find a way of extracting the o2 splash screen from the phone!
anyone got any ideas on how to do this? or does any one have the splash screen picture?
encorporating it in to the ROM should not be a porblem as long as we can find it!

Hi idrisito.
Still testing your supplied ROM, how did you come by it or extract it?, the reason i ask is that the normal ROM's I download are complete and come with the operators or developers ROM and splash screens etc?

Yes it is possible to take the taskbar away, the top or the bottem one, or both,BUT!!
If you prepared to DUMP you ROM, or you can go to the HTC web-side and download the new ROM for you device,why? because you need 2 files from the ROM to change it with the hexeditor than cook it back to the ROM after that flash the new ROM to you device,you will everything delete on you phone with this procedure,because you have to flash you altered ROM to you phone, is it worth for you?? let me know
