Help needed i paid and got my Diamond unlock after that Vodafone started showing network but calls doesnt go at all. What should i do.

i did twice
i did the hard reset twice but nothing happened. it is unlocked thats why vodafone network is coming. the problem is that whenever i make calls in a second it shows connected the timer starts but nothing happens, no voice at all. please help.

Seems to be a problem in your radio rom, as it was unlocked by anyone not your provide he could have messed up sth. so just be so kind to answer !
try flash another radio rom / os rom if you dont like to answer

Normally you should see ROM Version (in you case 4.01.19) and also 2 other Version. But I´m sure, you do not see this numbers....
I think you have flashed the wrong radiostack to your device and now you have GSM Error when you enter the bootloader....

You may have damaged some internal component when you dropped the phone. Are you pushing resetting the phone after flashing, by pushing once in the hole under the headset socket then wait one minute and push once more.
You are saying that you have ROM version 4.01.19
If I remember correctly that ROM version can only be unlocked using the SD card method. Is it possible that somebody tried to unlock it and screwed it up?
Either way it sounds like you need a new main board for it.

i ve successfully made my mobile in working condition by some technical methods but i still have some problems with its software. from where i can get the exact radio stack for being used here in Pakistan. is it wants auto configuration but my operator and country is not listed in that menu.

After trying to upgrade radio stack to version 4.24.20
i just tried to upgrade my radio stack to above mentioned version. Now i m gettin an error message that says "cant upgrade rsu prss ok to restart" it comes again and again. rsu upgrading was done first time with no errors but soon after it,it start giving me that message and in the startup screen it shows the previous version of radio stack which was 6.24.00. Plz tell me what is wrong that i did and how to resolve that trouble?

Guys I already tried both ur methods.. Thus I can install any Rom I want. The problem is none of the roms then can connect with the network. Only my original rom does..HELP !!!
I think that local ROM you have has some 'special' software that connects you to the Sputnik, because normally a ROM doesn't decide what network you connect to.
I have qtek 9000 wm5 german and want to get rid of it and change for new rom. it is sim unlocked and i followed the ruled for cid ulocking.
I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435 but have problems with Button's 1.05 ROM which is not able to set up connection with my device. I dont know why. Also I cant read my ipl spl numbers while rebooting. In the end to add that I have swisscom rom.

Ive upgraded rom to tomal wm6.1. Everything works except it cant recognize sim card any more. I would be grateful for advice cause I am affraid not to brick device experimenting.

I tried ti unlock sim following all instructions very carefully but now its stucked in bootloader mode. When I plug in usb only sign "serial" become "usb"

Last two days I have read all the threats in this forum for my problem but I couldnt find any solutions.
I bought my unlock s621 from compusa about a month ago and I have tryed to upgrade it two days ago. Duiring the upgrade proces when scale %3 it stoped to active sync connection.
Later I learned from this forum that this happened because I had to cid unlock before upgrade but I didnt know this before ) I chrashed original wm 6 rom.
Then I read all about treats which about this issue. I opened phone in three color bootloader mode with pushing camera buton.

My phone didnt give the cid id with this method and I have tryed this one and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379622 this one didnt help. I used several windows computers and many times.
I have tryed to install all official roms in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=381726 but non of them help. All going to %3 and then say wrong id error 270 or 262 etc.
I learned that there is no way to unlock cid under bootloader mode I have to find original official rom which device has before.
I can't learn cid id so I dont know what was before.
Just I know when I was do hard reset to old wm6 rom was starting spanish.
Questions;
1. Anyone know that which rom can recover this phone?
2. Is there any way to cid unlock it in bootloader mode which I didnt find it.?

orb3000 Thank you for replay I have read all wiki but my device has turned to three color mode after first errror 270.
As I learned that device is not connect to activesync in three color mode. SDA and USPL- CID BYPASS unlockers are need actvesync for connect and unlock to device. Or device need original rom which what was before for live and connect to activesync and unlock.
Do you have any idea connect device to activesync in bootloader mode?

You can install a Official rom.
After unlock your phone.

Connect your phone to your PC, while he is in thebootloader and flash it with a official rom.
You don't need to connect with active sync.

I wrote htc and they said according to serial number my device came from spain I treid last official spanish rom many times with different computer but it comes just %3 then turnoff. It gives wrong ID or something like that.
Even I tried change rom version other than to 1.30.515.1 (This is the my device rom version which I tought)

If I connect with usb cable in press and hold camera button with battery or without battery it is working in bootloader three color screen. Not normal startup any way.
By the way I learned someone real rom version;
Rom version: 1.38.476.1
Radio version: 4.1.13.59_0315.90
I need this original spanish rom now.

Don't connect your phone with USB cable to your PC and take out the battery.
Put it back and your phone restart.

Just a month ago one of my friends buy it from US for me and himself I have got versions from his device.
Just had system update notifier, so I installed it (am now on build no: 1.21.405.2 CL174215) and am unable to start wi-fi or bluetooth?
Could it be anything to do with this being an orange handset that I have de-branded?

hi all, I think we all are in the same boat, it appeared that only debranded phones are affected. mine debranded T-Mobile as well. damn, I was so happy when I saw an OTA update at the first time. who could expect it will kill my wi-fi. however, I've seen guys on another forum that the problem is solved if you reload the full ROM from the beginning, even 1.21 works great. I've just downloaded one from this thread, going to install now and see. the problem is that you have to back up everything because it will kill all data on your phone. personally I'm not going to backup as there's not much to loose there for me and I wish to have a very clean install. cheers!

Same problem with my debranded T-Mobile Desire. Can't flash the original RUU I found here in this forum. My desire starts and hangs at the black screen showing the HTC Logo but did not continue flashing the rom. By unplugging the USB Cable the bootloader appears and show 0.75. I thought it must show 0.80 ? Any ideas how to flash the rom that brings back my WLAN?

I helped another member to get his Wi-Fi connection working after he had upgraded to the latest modified Kernel version by Richard Trip.
Note: Your phone will need to be rooted to apply the kernel flash zip file in recovery mode.

well I'm back up and running but only after buying an unlock code from htccode (Thanks Sudarshan)
Couldn't see a way round it as I'm not rooted but I suppose, although the handset is branded, it's now unlocked and running htc software instead of that sodding orange messed up stuff!
OK I solved the problem with the broken WiFi Connection.
I replaced the ROM with one posted here in this forum.
I just flashed it and after the reboot, i have had the new ROM with a working WiFi Connection.
There is a strange thing that I revognized during the procedure. The ROM with the broken WiFi Link showed me a bootloader version of 0.75, after the flash I got 0.80.
I would be interested if some users have the 0.75 bootloader too even after the update.
Hope I could help some of you guys still having the problem.

Flash one of the kernels (boot.img) and bcm439.ko. Richard Trip is the only one that has them packaged, so download his and flash via recovery. make sure your wifi is off first.

You've to unlock your phone. Go to "htcsimunlock.com", enter your phone modell and your IMEI No. You'll get the requested unlock code but you've to pay for.
Made the same procedure yesterday and it worked fine without unlocking the device. Maybe it's because it won't be nessessary in germany, I don't know.
