Extended ROM Unlocker

attached a cab file that will install a tool to lock/unlock and hide/unhide the extended rom.
( with 'unlock' I mean make it read/writable again )

Could you give us tech details on how the XDA makes the rom unrewritable?? (reg settings?)
I'm realy curious because i was trying like many othters to figure out the process of locking/unloking it but with out any success

I found the password to unlock the DiskOnChip device by looking at the bootloader.
the diskonchip is somewhat documented on the m-sys.com website.
but not very well, and incorrectly, I figured out the correct packet formats for the deviceiocontrol functions by comparing the trueffs.dll and bootloader code.
for the functions used look at the source, it is only 2 functions : insert key + change protection.

i am with you all in giving compliments to itsme. that tool makes arranging of my own roms so simple n easy.

if you want to run it on an ITA device you need to create a "program files" directory and to cut/paste the folder "ExtendedROMunlocker" there

Cela permet de modifier ton "Extended ROM", tu peux non seulement "read"(=lire), mais aussi "write"(=écrire), bref, tu peux ainsi en faire ce que tu veux ...

Finally I got it, but muis are more differents, and there is a bug on phone settings, it doesn't close anymore by pressing ""X" button... here a little screenshot
P.S.: some muis parts are yet in english...

Mybe I've the solution for bug of phone setting.

(obvously we have to sign all muis that we translate in Italian!!!)

I'm signing all muis that nees to be translated, when finish, I'll up onto a host server, if I find, who wants to partecipate to this translation project, write me in pm, download the big_rar and then on this post post what files wants to translate, so everyone will be have unique files to translate, when you finis send me the translated muis, I'll join then in unique rar and repost to you!!

EDITED: all files are now signed, so we can know who use it into a rom!! good ???
just have to up about 115 Mb, hopeing I find something that accept a so big rar!!!
P.S.: if we work hard on it, maybe in 3/4 days we can have the full working ITALIAN WM 6.1 rom !!!
PP.S.: seems that someone cuts the image that I posted and copy in other place (changing, by paint??? the os version and build, but is mine!!!!), he cutted the superior part where there is my batterygauge line!!! see well, you can find that superio part is cutted from original)

also becouse in italian the mui that shows windows mobile 6.1 isn't yet, and I know what is it and edited it by hands!! in other way, It 'll show "windows Mobile 6 Professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after this, I think I'll never post my rom 6.1 ITALIAN, Now thanks to ciccio trick, it works well, have some strings to translate yet, but all inside works....

I don´t know about that rom exactly but if you go to ebay you´ll come across some rom seller,I don´t know if it is their own rom or maybe someone else´s.

This is a thought and a desire bad, but the only thing is that now I can think ... I'm sorry.
P.S.: I finished right now to translate all muis, translated and signed!
I'm now testing if all is ok!!!

Si no le saben mucho al ingles como yo, tomen como base los mui de la rom oficial ya que están en español.

Hehe if you just translate mui from english to your lang- its not be working. You also wanna need translate some registry keys, add your lang to registry,translate *.provxml files etc. Its very big work- one time i was try to translate ROM. I translate all, but rom not worked normal. Also if you be translate mui you need signed it off and after translate signed on this files. Its a long way .

I was going to post near enough the same thing a hell of alot of work with no gurantee.

Possible solution..
Time ago, when I was lucky enough to have an HTC Advantage, I was able to use this utility...with the language packs of the second post, you were able to simply select your language and change the mui of the os...all nice except this was done for wm5/6 and for vga devices, but maybe some smart guy could take the .cabs and do the miracle: have the wonderful new roms in our language (mine is spanish)...

I dont know alot of this but im willing to learn hehe and im making some testing with my device and just changeing the .mui files i had some results but it says its using english language hehe so basicaly it replaces english text lines on mui files and thats all and seems to work so far but still im testing

I have recently installed this ROM Cv93+Oggi_Manilla_Diamond_Black_20755 on my HTC P3600 et and I would like make some modifications :

- I have also saw the effects of transition when moving a tab to another.
- Thus, whether there is a way to display photos stored on the memory card from the tab touchflo.
- How to change the clock HTC Home (to save a style diamond HTC)
- And a last thing, I saw a new radio outlet was (1.56 ....) do I upgrade to the one I have. He does it more?

1) the theme you're looking for is weather panel by rumball - easiest way is to search the forum page for rumball... this thread was the first google gave me - learn how to use google
2) radio 1.56 is the latest for trinity ... theres no newer as you can't expect any further updates by htc
Cv93+Oggi do a great job by cooking their roms and the software you're looking for is addon, so why "mod" the rom??
