Latest WWE ROM version ?

I think there are some different ROM versions for the diamond already.
Mine is:
ROM: 1.34.831.1 WWE
Date: 5/25/08
Radio: 0.93.25.NS16
Protocol version: 52.24.25.08H
It is problematic & slow and I have already had to hard reset twice.
Are there more recent versions available ?

Latest is 1.35.xxx
Date 6/7/08
But it's not availible yet.

Found a post with this info about the poster's phone:

Hello, Thanks joining waiting list for SPL 1.34 Hard, radio lock files stop current Unlock to work.

I presume it's not safe to install this rom until a custom spl is made?

Not really that it's not safe, it just won't upgrade. If you try it you get the "model ID error" and it does a soft-reset. No harm just no upgrade.

Hi guys.
I'm new on these kind of mobile devices. I'm waiting for my touch diamond to arrive.
Question: If the rom isn't upgradeable like new firmwares and such, how is HTC suppose to solve bugs and improve the devices ? If so, what kind of upgrades does HTC provide in the future to improve it ?

It will upgrade all firmware for the same device nationality, i.e. you can upgrade a diamond-HK with latest diamond-HK ROM, or diamond-UK with latest UK ROM. You just can't (at least not yet) load an HK ROM on a UK diamond and vice versa.

Got another question, perhaps only someone that already owns a diamond can answer.. does the English version brings more T9/XT9 dictionaries installed ? I've been searching the forums and it's not clear. Thing is, i ordered the English version since PT won't be available so soon, will i have the Portuguese T9 installed ?
I'm thinking I'm in real trouble with that and from what I've read on the forums it's not easy to add new dictionaries..

Does it include all Orange branding...... and do I need to Hard SPL my device etc to install..... or do I not need this as it is to replace an existing Orange ROM????

i tried this and failed. i hooked my phone up to my laptop, it was connected to active sync, i unzipped the file to my desktop and ran the rom util. it was in chinese or something but knew what to tick and where to click. unlike other updates, this one did not even reboot my device and then fail (like when i try to update using the HTC update for unlocked/unbranded phones). it just came up with some error that i could not make out because of the language. number "[22]" was all i could read.
for info, my phone is completely standard (no hardspl or what ever) from orange. it is one without the orange branding in the software, just the orange logo on the back cover of the phone.

This is not a WWE Rom - it is Orange branded and has all their customisations (Orange Manilla) etc - but it's a Polish rom - this is apparent when you unzip it - it says PL in the folder description. Maybe the desription needs to be tweaked by Cutty.

The zip file is called Ruu_Diamond_HTC_WWE_Orange_1.93.69.1_Ship.zip
The contents of the zip file is a folder called Ruu_Diamond_Signed_Orange_PL_1.93.69.1_Ship
The folder doesn't say WWE anywhere. Only the zip file does, so it looks like the zip file may have been named incorrectly.
Edited to add: Dutty has now corrected this, and the zip file has now been renamed to Ruu_Diamond_HTC_PL_Orange_1.93.69.1_Ship.zip

yep it works. Try to download using internet explorer
and BTW this is good rom faster than previous 1.37 version
with much improved sound quality

Been using this ROM for two days now.... works great! GPS fix is acquired a lot faster and touchflo is fast too..

This is a official ROM , U dont need to do any sim unlock / HArd SPL

ok karkalanand you need to Hard Spl your Diamond first (I used olinex 1.40 developers edition)
after that you can install upgrade version on your phone and no need to sim-unlock

and @asksaravana: this is not official rom by HTC but much better than old crap

If it's not an official ROM, why is there "ship" in the name?

Hi all!
Can anybody from you guy give me the austrian tmobile stock rom 1.37.112.3?
I also found the germany tmobile rom 1.37.111.3 but i think tmobile austria
will not accept this rom if i had any problem with my diamond and i want to
give it back to tmobile for getting a new device

sorry but i didn test the rom (the name of the file is RUU_Victor_TMO_DE_1.37.111.3_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship.exe i think its from tmobile) but i found a reason for my problem ...

attemp (when you understand what you do )

the answer for your question : just take the RUU_signed.nbh file from the 1.37.111.3 file that i wrote. that should be work fine...

the rom that i made doesnt works fine because auto run install only the germany software and not the austrian tmobile software... that mean you have no austrian web n walk link, no wisepilot (just a navigate software) but i now make a new rom... when you want to test it when iam ready give me a message - iam just happy with my aztor v7 and i dont want to reflash now - just for looking whether it works - that waste only my time

Yes, it's the same OS and Splash, but no SPL and Radio.

you can try my cooked german ROM based on the new shipped HTC ROM with all german Vodafone settings from latest official ROM.

The opera cab wont help you because there are many settings in the provxml
in Operator package.

can anybody confirm following behaviour:
for a city added by weatherdatabase editor no data can be downloaded anymore... the city code is the right one, all is set up properly as in other roms before... but it don't work no longer in this rom (for me ) (the citys on stock were found and downloaded correctly)
