Want to cook my own ROM, looking for Esmertec Jbed - HTC Excalibur

I want to cook my own German wm6 ROM with latest Radio and Jbed Java VM. Where can I get the VM and how can i integrate it into my ROM?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=438581

I have this folder called "dump" now. How can i remove the standard vm? I know how to put the new one in but which files must i remove?

eten m700

has the eten m700 got an application lock if so, does any one know how to remove it.
any response would be great.
Can you give more information?
What do you want to do?
Open your ROM? Change the apps in your extROM? hack the registry?
I've the eten M700 and I would help you.
How can you modify the rom, or for that matter create a new rom ?
With this tool, you can add/remove cab in the extROM, Theese are the apps installed after an hard-reset.
For advanced hack you can use this for dump the entire ROM.
And how do I get the temp.dat image? From a far look in the pl file it has to be there (I don't yet have perl installed.. and I'm not an expert on it)
you can find it on my folder in signature.
You have to install perl for run the script that manage ROM hacking.
how can i delete files, how to know which file is what?

Windows Mobile 6.1: Files for cooking

Hey there
I'd like to cook an own windows mobile-rom for Artemis with Manila 2D. I found HyperCore to cook the rom. With HyperCore, you can edit an existing rom or a "clean one".
Where do you get the unbrandet, new versions of wm 6.1 for cooking from?
thank you!
you dont necessarily need a ROM as a base
if you want a specific build then google for that build and find XIP and SYS
and put that in your kitchen
and if you are new you may like to start with "artemis diamondish kitchen"
its very simple and easy to use
thank you!
with "artemis diamondish kitchen", I can include also the manila files?
yes you can
get OEM package for the apps you want and put them in OEM folder of kitchen
and it will work

[REQ] WM6.1 Kitchen with TF3D2 Included

As the title says,
is there a kitchen for wm6.1 with a working tf3d2 available? If so, i would realy like to have that kitchen!
I know there is a kitch for wm6.5 but that one is nog working?
Greetz,
Ruubs
Shaks created a WM 6.1 kitchen which you can get here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509330 you would just need to add the TF3D2 packages to it. If there was enough interest I could be persuaded to make a WM 6.1 "plugin" for my WM 6.5 kitchen.
Allright i downloaded the kitchen and edited it a lil'
now i need the TF3D2 packages. and i would REALY appriciate it if you make a wm6.1 plugin ^^!

Could you find what you had been searching? I think that is something missing on this forum (or I haven't met it yet, I'm still on look):
A stable WM6.1 kitchen that have TF3D2 included (or that can be integrated... It's still not pretty clear for me).
It wouldn't hurt if it was 6.5, but why bother with the extra weight?
Here's xboxmod's package tf3d2 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3472132&postcount=3 , or you could download lobsterdave's 6,5 kitchen, take the package from there (there might be a file called "skip" or similar, delete it) and replace the old manila in shaks kitchen or nataly kitchen. I have tried 2nd option with nataly kitchen, it works.

JBlend uninstall

I have a question: How to uninstall JBlend preinstalled by the producer in the phone? I installed the esmertec jbed but there is no icon in "programs". I have MDA Compact IV
I have the same issue. I can't find any way to uninstall my existing JBlend. Even reinstalling with new JBlend makes it worse, my java games wont run & install
My JBlend is preinstalled with my Omnia.
I'm currently having issues to move the existing /windows folder to /My Storage.
I have tried the trick for the JBlend, but it didn't work for my case.
When I put back the java folder in Windows folder, it works as normal.
Anyone can advise me in this matter ? I'm stucked in this problem.
If it's a ROM application then I think that you can not remove it.
[check file properties to see if it's a ROM file or not]
This is the main reason that made me change my stock ROM.
Then again I have just started to learn about ROM flashing & cooking so correct me people if I am wrong.
I used Gen.Y R5.3 MultiLANG Kitchen to disable/enable applicatins in the ROM & cooked my first clean ROM
(you can actually see Jblend disabled in step 3 of this kitchen).

No Java?

Hey people, recently flashed my htc with a wm6.5 rom.
but there's no java?
Cant install any jar files so wondered if i can add it?
Thanks!
You have to install Jbed Java or something equivalent to use Java app's (or ask the cook to include java into the rom).
