Hi.
I've downloaded and instal the latest version of kaspersky mobile security 7 with out problems.
But i have one problem,i can't start the program.
I've reinstal it,made a 2-3 softrest and nothing.
My pda is hp ipaq hx2490 wm6.1
Viruses for WM don't exist i think.....
I don't ask is there a viruses for wm.I ask why the program can't start?

I use it all the time with my wm6.1 vogue. did you download from kaspersky's site. might want to try again, or email their support.

You must live in dream fairy land...any device with internet will be in danger of getting infected.Even devices without internet get viruses...
I've donwloaded it a few times ,from deferent kaspersky site (one from uk,one from ru,com,us)and nothing.Just can't start it .
After instal complete there a mesage that say's that the program will not run proparlity because it's created for older version of wm.
I am with wm6.1 and in the kaspersky support center says that the program works on wm5,6,6.1
I've chage my rom with wm5,wm6 and the problem is same(instal and can't start)
Now i'm again with wm6.1 and can't start the program.

Yes it works without any issues. I am using Easysync since 1.5 weeks on wm6.

mine is 4.2.5
Easysync pro works with wm6 since V4.2.2. U have to install to main memory.

I have v 4.2.4 and was unable to install it to my WM6 device. Are you sure about this? The system requirements for 4.2.4 list the following as supported:
Microsoft Pocket PC 2000 / 2002 / 2003 / Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC devices (ActiveSync)

1.-I'm quite sure on this.
2.-I got-it under IBM internal site (i'm an IBMer)
3. 4.2.4 should work. just install-it into the main memory and u have do do something (i don't remember what) to allow restricted operation on the PDA, this is a reg-hack or something, search xda and u will find!
ps. 4.2.5 is a fixpack

Thanks for your reply. I found an IBM article outlining 4.2.5 and support for WM6.
Perhaps it was a problem with allowing unsigned apps? I seem to recall a registry hack/cab available to fix that. enable_rapi?
It's a bit of a moot point now since I reverted back to a WM5 rom last night. Maybe I'll try reflashing a WM6 rom and see if i can get it going though a hack...unless of course you'd be willing to send me a copy of 4.2.5, for evaluation purposes.

First off, thanks for the reply. I hope this isn't in the wrong forum... I found this thread through a search and I was hoping it applied to me. I've got a Wizard (Cingular-branded 8125), but I am using WM6 & Easysync Pro.
I still can't get EasySync 4.2.4 to install. I get a series of errors when it's trying to install the cab:
First, "this program uses a file that is no longer supported please obtain an updated version of the program"
Then "unable to launch \windows\xcpcsyncsvr.exe: error 1411"
Finally, it says that it's installed, but it isn't. And Easysync on the PC reports that it can't connect.
Any ideas?

"There have been reported cases wherein the virtual Phone Pad became unavailable after the device has been upgraded from Windows Mobile 5 to Windows Mobile 6. If you encountered the same problem, please download this installer (.cab file) and run it on your device to install the Phone Pad."
Anybody seen this? I don't think so, because there is no WM6 from HTC yet for the P3600.

yes it is.
It works with WM5 FRA from HTC. Not tested with WM6.

Anyone has the XT9 phone pad cab file?
Its been removed from the Other Downloads section again.... For a device that HTC has stated won't get an official upgrade to WM6, there seems to be an awful amount of activity on the member site.
Hehe the rumours are entertaining though.

Hey there!
I have also seen this update for resolving issues after upgrading to WM6.
But how could a company which is NOT releasing WM6 upgrade post an update which would fix an upgrade to WM6?
Are they supporting cooked ROMs?
Or are they planning on an official update?

did u search this forum? I have asked about this and the XT9 is posted there. Also I have installed XT9 with udK 6 rom and it works just keep in mind that if you try to change lang during your usage of the XT9 it will get crazy and you have to do a soft reset, other than that it works great.
Just my 2 cents.

I've done a lot of search, unless I didn't do it correctly. So far, didn't find what I want. Although there's a HTC XT9 cab file, it's not the one I want.

Does anyone know if iMate are going to release windows mobile 6.1 for the 8502? i've tried emailing them and connecting to their stupid live help thing, but no one ever answers or replies to my messages.

I have just downloaded the ROM update for the 8502. I have Vista and when i try to run the program I get an error message stating that "SFX v2.0 can not support Windows Vista"
What do I do know?

Just right click the executable, select properties, and click the compatibility tab and then tick run in compatibility mode for windows XP (SP2)

its slim version already have.and same problems speakers cant onn.2nd cant press any button during call like for conference and card load

MS don´t offer WM updates for end users so you have to await updates from vendors like HTC. But don´t wait for additional Artemis updates...
The last available official ROM for the Artemis is WM6.0. But be careful with USPL. The original version will brick your phone when you flash a custom firmware.

If you have already changed the USPL you can start with WM6.5
...
only if SPL is 1.11.cmon
if you don't have that SPL at device start-up, don't try flashing with a rom..
