Clear-Coat Scratch Protector Review - General Accessories

Hey!
I was searching for a screen protector like InvisibleShield for my Touch Pro, as Zagg doesnt seem to be able to make one. I stumbled across Clear-Coat.com and bought one of their full body protections.
Thought I would share how it was, so Ive written a review of it..
Read it here!
Cheers!

Brando UltraClear Screen Protector for HTC Snap now available

Here.
I have an UltraClear protector for my Vox - I would agree with the numerous comments elsewhere on this forum that these screen protectors are excellent.
EDIT: Just received my protector today, with the usual excellent speedy service from Hong Kong (to the UK in this case). I'm very happy with it - fits perfectly and to the usual Brando high standard.
Where can I buy one for myself ?
Can I know where can I but iy ?
I'm also looking for a screen protector for this phone but I'm not sure if the Brando will fit. The link you've posted says it's for the HTC S511 which is supposed to be this phone, http://www.navigadget.com/wp-content/postimages/2009/06/sprint-htc-snap-s511.jpg.
I have the HTC Snap S521 which is this phone, http://www.letsgodigital.org/images/artikelen/681/htc-snap.jpg.
Both seem to be known as HTC Snap, could you please tell me which phone you have and whether the screen protector covers the whole screen and if you need to cut the screen protector to fit the screen.
Sorry for the slow reply. I have the same device as you - i.e. the one shown at http://www.letsgodigital.org/images/artikelen/681/htc-snap.jpg.
I ordered the screen protector from Brando at the link given above. It fits the device perfectly, covers the entire glass screen area (i.e. including the whole area beyond where the actual pixels of the screen stop) and does not require any cutting. Delivery is fast from Hong Kong and it's easy to apply - I'm very happy with it.
There does appear to be some confusion with the various different versions of the device around - I just had to return a case which didn't fit properly.
Thanks for replying. Great to hear that it fits perfectly I'm going to order one as soon as possible.
I'm not sure what kind of case you are looking for. The device has almost the same measurements as the iPhone. I have bought this one and it fits perfectly, http://www.crumpler.nl/?page=details&product_id=TCC-003&sid=97cc53d0a0cc21c3bd716da439427c1b .
Received my Brando protector today, it is a perfect fit! Thanks for the link.

I have the Brando UltraClear installed, along with the Talkie Tech case. Great combo!

How many types of screen protectors are there?

As the subject says. I have a Zagg but I wanted to know if anyone has compiled a list of the different types of screen protectors. Friend got his protector from Ebay and its super clear and shiny with good fingerprint protection. I like the feel of my zagg but the look takes away from the glossyness of the Evo's screen. I didn't want to start another screen protector thread but i haven't seen this info readily available. Was looking for something like this:
Zagg - orange peel look. Great protection
Brand x - very clear. Easy to apply.
Brand y .....
-Not sent from an iPhone

Screen protector

Anyone spotted a good screen protector for the Arc? I used a Brando in the past and was very happy with it, but I can't find the Arc on their homepage yet.
I've just ordered one from e-bay ;-)
Hey, I just read that there might be a screen protector installed out of the box!
yes that is true..
once u remove the top film..
look carefully..
factory fitted screen protector is on the screen..
also there is an extra protector amongst the warranty card and papers
Yes, mine had already a screen protector installed. An theres an extra in the box.
And there was a really leathercase.
i got mine two days ago with a screen protector in the box but i looked real carefully and didnt seem to see one pre fitted on the screen. Maybe i looked wrong
I also got an HDMI cable and leather case in the box.
can someone please tell me that maybe there are some countries where the screen protector is not pre fitted ? is that possible ? or have i not looked hard enough ?
There can be regional differences of course (some parts of Europe get a 16GB SDHC and a leather case...), but supposedly the protector is extremely hard to see. It was the same with the X10, and most people didn't even realize there was a protector installed and put another one right over it.
Just noticed it had a protector already installed. I installed the one that came in the box, so I now have to protectors on the screen lol.
Clarivue recently released protectors for the Arc. Cant post a link cuz I'm new here!
I like their anti glare protectors, because fingerprint marks are not as visible - which is very important for me for a touch screen device.
Although they are a little more expensive, you get two in a pack. You can use coupon clear630 and get 10% off. If your ordering 3 or more items you get another 10% off.
I got my Arc 3 days after it came out in Dubai, checked clarivue that day they didn't have them for the Arc, so I ordered anti-glare protectors from eBay. I checked clarivue again yesterday and they had them.
lol i also didnt notice thrs a preinstalled sp on the screen thus applied the extra sp.. now i have double protection!!! lol...
+1
At the factory, they pose it without any imperfection
Found one in the box but my eyes aren't good enough to see if theres one on already :-B I assume there is

You will see a very small line just inside the edge of the screen itself going all the way around. I can guarantee you already have one already installed
If in doubt use a magnifying glass.
anyone used a 3M Vikuiti ADQC27 for the arc? Does it fit well?
hey everyone, just so you know SGP has put out their screen shields for the arc, imo they are one of the best so, give it a look and enjoy

Have anyone thought about Invisible Shield from zagg
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
i just bought one a few days ago off ebay... still waiting for it to come in.
i had one on my x10 and i liked it. it is much more resistant to scratches than sony ericsson's so-called 'scratch resistant shatter proof sheet on mineral glass'. apparently zagg invisishield skins are made with the same material used to protect military helicopter blades (from what i've heard). one of the downsides to it is it makes finger swiping a bit harder because the screen is a bit more 'grippy'.
Personally, I would avoid Zaag, they are so tricky to apply. My recommendation has to be Martin Fields' or Brando.
whoah!..i just read this thread...and realised that there was a screen protector already preinstalled..unfortunately I had applied the one provided in the box a few days back (horribly i must add)...nice feature by Sony, but they shud mention it..
has anybody tried to remove the factory installed screenprotector? The reason i ask is because i removed the extra screenprotector that i installed when i got the phone since it had some inperfections, now i have a scratch in what i hope is the factory screenprotector and not the screen itself and a invisibleshield waiting to be installed but i cant remove the factory installed one
yea... screen protectors are a b*tch to install. do it once and do it right.

Quick question about screen protectors

Sorry guys, I know there are about three thousand or so threads about screen protectors and whatnot.....but yeah...
So here's the thing. I ordered the UltraTough Clear ScreenGuardz from Bodyguardz and I am thinking about returning it.
After reading around in forums, I am really leaning towards getting one of these two:
SGP Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen Protector Steinheil Ultra Nano Clear
Skinomi TechSkin - Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen Protector Ultra Clear Shield
Would you guys think that these screen protectors are a better alternative to the bodyguardz screen protector...or should I just stick with the one I bought? Do you know better ones?
What I am looking for is a screen protector that won't affect the screen quality.
At this point I am also considering going naked.
Thanks ahead of time!
In the past I have used many different screen protectors. Lately i have been sticking with SGP. I have the ultra clear now, but seems they have replaced it with the Ultra Nano Clear. Not sure how that one is. I have ordered the
Skinomi TechSkin - Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen Protector Ultra Clear Shield but have not received it yet. I could be wrong but in my opinion the best for screen quality are the ones you don't need to spray with a solution like SGP. Seems like Zagg and some others that you spray to get on just affect the screen too much. Again thats just my opinion.
The ReaLook Flex HD won't alter the screen quality. It's the only wet screen protector that I've seen that doesn't have any type of orange peel.
Dude you already have the BG so just slap that on and give it a shot. I like that its a hard shield and not the rubbery film like the skinomi or zagg. If it doesnt look good then go for the nano, at least this is the path I have taken, I just got my BG yesterday. If it dont work out I will try the nano
Hmm, thanks for the feedback guys!
I did slap the BG on yesterday, but after about 3 hours there was something about it that bugged me.
I think I am gonna go ahead and order the nano and see how that works out. I am gonna put BG back on for now.
Let me know what else you guys think! I am loving the feedback! =)

Recommendation for a screen protector?

The screen protector which was already installed got worn up, so I opted for a glass one in Amazon. Sadly I did not find any useful reviews, so is just bought two different ones. Both sucked. Can anybody recommend a good screen protector for the view 20?
