How are you guys taking those screen shots of your homepage etc on the dash and getting them on the comp.

there are a few programs...some of us use smarttoolkit...which is what i use, but there are other programs out there....
e-natives.com for smarttoolkit.

So, directions On how to install? I got the zip file, but what to do next?

unzip it on your desktop. then transfer the .cab file on your phone via activesync. then click the .cab file on your phone to start installation.....

I would advice you use SmartToolKit RC08 as it works well with the dash, can be downloaded @ http://www.neilmorgan.co.uk/btbbanywhere/closing_applications.htm. Place this file on phone via active sync or beam via bluetooth find it via Filemanager on phone and click on and install. You will need to go into it's options to get it to load @ startup.

I've been wondering about this myself... After getting a screen capture on SmartToolkit, how do you get the bitmap to display in your post as a thumbnail? For some reason, I can only get it to be an attachment--but I want it to be visible to everyone as they scroll past my post.

hmm, I've never had a problem with this. All i do is take the screen shot, then put the xx.bmp on the desktop, upload it as an attachment and viola, it's there
if you want, i'll do it right now.
EDIT: I just realized what i did, open image in paint, save it as jpeg and upload the jpeg. it should work fine

Are you running WM 6.1/Vista? I'm having trouble connecting it. Ok, i tried everything but it just does not connect, Ahh - Even tried connecting from the phone. Nothing happens. Just says connecting but never ends up connecting.
Can someone else try it out & tell me if it's working for them or not?
You know what, It's the damn firewall in vista but even after i turned it off, it's not working.
Oh well, nevermind

I like that it is a small specific app without all the other junk like Smart Tool Kit. Not that I don't like Smart Tool Kit but it has a lot of stuff in it and if all you want is a screen shot than this app will do.
Seems like SMart SS+ will allow you to take .png and .jpeg as well as .bmp

maybe you closed the app for reboot, try off\on, it could be load to memory again.

nope, i actually have to RE ADD it to the list. can someone give me the path and settings for reboot feature.

i had the problem in the past, it's probably easier to just reinstall it.

1) open celetask click right to you see CeleTask-tools
2) click menu click action then click add tool...
3)fill in what you see in the screen picture

You forgot to put a checkbox on Auto Startup

is there a way to change the delete soft key on the celetask to avoid this to happen. I've almost deleted the reboot before.

Where are the plugins located

Im using Kavana Ricky's remade.
Have just made an error on CHome customise of Programs.
I changed the Plugin icons: Location istead of the Picture location now i don't have the programs bar on home screen.
Can someone please provide location.

Try this.
Start menu -- My Tools -- Configurator -- and click on the plugin you want to show. It's probably just hidden. You can also move up or down which ever one you want.

That worked pannel back but the image on the pannel has a cross now?
Not the Program.png's there there.

That just changes the picture of the app your displaying had done them all then messed up.

I believe you will have to find the image you want or originally had for your programs panel and put it in your windows folder. Then find the path somehow and type it in. Like I said I don't know, but tried. I would wait for a mod to help or someone with more experience.

RC08 Is the stable release for Dash

Anyone having trouble with the "windows\start menu" and this tool ?
When I navigate to that folder when SmartToolKit is installed, my screen starts flickering when I browse to the first shortcuts (Active sync,..)
Allready tried a hardreset and reflashed the rom (NRG Rose Rom v1.7 - Remade by Ricky and Stylez ), but no luck. Problem shows itself after installing SmartToolKit (RC08)
Will try to upload a vid showing the problem.

To keep space on the device the only things i would advise installing to device is things that load @ startup as device memory is read faster and also the Movie Player as you are reading the Movie from memory card.
Reason to keep more space on the device as it slows down access when you fill up just like a HD even though it is solid state.

Yes I try to keep as much as possible on my storage card, unless is a program, like you said that it necessarily needs to be in the device.

This is a sweet app, I dunno why I waited until now to try it out. I heard people mention it affects battery life, how bad does it affect the battery? Does it make a noticable difference? Im using a fatty 2200 mAh.

Can't access the TouchFlo3D settings!

It's not highlighted for me to get into the options when I go to "Today" then "items". When I press the start menu I get the drop down instead of the touchflo one.
Unless their is another way.

I imagine there's a registry edit you could do, where? I have no idea. I haven't bought mine yet, just didn't want a thread to go unposted

There aren't any settings for TFLO3D2 in there. You can however un grey the option button (it won't do anything cause there aren't any settings for it) by going to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\TouchFLO 3D (not the one in quotes)\ in the registry and setting the key options to 1 instead of 0.

I have CeRegEditor. I find it easy to use, pretty basic, and user friendly. Im sure there are better ones out there. but if you're gonna use it like i do, just for basic edits, this will suffice nicely.

That's exactly what I said it would do.
TFLO3D2 doesn't have any settings that are accessible there!

No problem.
There are some setting for TFLO3D2 in the registry though.
Look here:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\
And here:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\

its for your phone. Just click on the orange phone in the upper left hand corner to connect your phone to the program. and then youll be available to see all of the keys. and then you can edit the registry from there.
