here is the pdaviet thread on the pdaviet page, but you have to register to download. i used to get the roms mirrored on another ppc page thats no longer active, anyone registered with pdaviet that can mirror this rom to download?

Keyboard layout
I installed this on my 8525, so far so good. Looks great.
My keyboard layout isn't setup correctly though, I believe it's supposed to be setup for the Cingular layout? But I don't remember (or can't find) where to change that setting, and I've been looking for about the last 20 mins.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Use this Cab to fix it.

This Rom is not the final Rom, so much bugs. Tommorow will ralease the newest and fix the old bugs. I will show the link to download and test.

So far so good very responsive even Tflo and cube are fast.
haven't had the time to test al the details but let you know what my findings are.

fix for not inizialize camera
if after flash rom not inizialize camera:
switch off phone and remove sim card
start phone and switch off again
insert sim card switch on and camera start

Hi, in these first Pdamobiz WM6.1 ROM is still too much Bugs. Bluetooth not working. I advise to NOT install. Next version which comes there fast is much better.

Stingray, this 6.1 builds are so buggy, maybe it's a way how cookers implemented it but two builds I have tried and it's available here are the worst ROM's I ever put on my Trinity...
It's hard for me to imagine that new build like 6.1 can bring so much (may I say) newbie errors, I just hope someone who have good knowledge in cooking will provide us with nice and stable WM6.1 ROM soon...I don't think there's any available by now...

They are now at update 4, so there is progression. I tried many ROM's and some are better than others.
I'm more interested in features of the ROM 1620 B19199.1.0 than the ROM itselves. So it's not really a problem to me that it's buggy.
It's difficult to download, estomated times like 14 hours is no fun.

Rom is good but missing....,
Stabile rom but i miss 2 nice feauters that where in but got removed...?
1. No option voor video calling in this rom?.....(or im to freaking blind to find it)
2. Touch Cube removed or doesnt function any morge....

PhamQuang from PDAViet have just released another diamond rom, I guess we will have to wait for the translation, it looks like a build using the fast RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.93.831.1 and RUU_Raphael_Cingular_US_1.90.502.2 and CE OS 5.2.20275 Build 20275.1.3.3
The free storage is 92.64Mb, and the free program 62.23Mb after instal, testing now thanks PhamQuang.

long press endkey doenst lock the device, even when i let it lock on the quickmenu it doesnt work.. anyone has the same problem? the rom seems to be very fast. 46% ram used after reset

same problem here.
for the rest no problems found yet ......and indeed a verry fast rom

I used his ROMs on my previous Hermes, they were extremely fast and stable so I will surely be flashing this new ROM
Does this ROM include Manila or is it a Lite ROM?

Phone Dialler Missing
So I flashed this one, and it is very fast. Only problems I have found are that
1. Advanced Config does not run - it show as having an error and more importantly,
2. I cannot see the phone dialler pad. It is there, cos I can press the numbers but it does not show at all. Anybody else?

I can see the phone dialer, so its there! Did you had a hars-reset after flash? do that allways, I make hard-reset 2-3 times after flash. Fast rom as usual from PhamQuang with pleanty of free ram
One issue: When i make a call I cant increase the volume. If i tap the up/down i get system and ring volume not the call volume?

Hi pafimal.
I am a great fan of PhamQuang from PDAViet, but alot of his ROM's have bugs from the outset, I tried this new ROM for a day, and it is not bad at all, but I prefer my 1.93.479.3 WWE ROM by default.
I have tried pretty much most of the ROM's here on the Diamond threads, and prefer Bepe's ROM's by far, I am waiting for the final version of his latest ROM soon..
I also flash back to my original/base ROM before trying any of the cooked ROM's, I learnt that from my Artemis days, i.e so as not to get any remnants of the last ROM used before using a cooked ROM.
So bottom line is it is fast and stable, lots of extra RAM, cool appz, worth a go for sure.

Why? If you post your experience, other people can decide better if they want to give it a try. What did you miss? Was it buggy/slow?

Yeah this is not the problem. The real problem is, the contact manager beeing the default app for this rom.
I love this rom. Extremly fast, but with pocketcm integrate it would be much better.
Any hints?

This rom is fast and stable but:
no Opera
no Live services
no NET Framework
no YouTube
no HTC Keyboard
no Adobe

it is a WWE version.
I'm running the Blue version on an artemis at the moment. My only issues on startup were that the button mapping needing altering as the default doesn't match the device, and the fact that you have to install the flash & opera.cab afterwords because the rom was too big to integrate it.
Tom Tom 6 works OK together with all the usual applications.
My only real problem is that the close button doesn't seem to work correctly (it leaves the programs running in the background). It may be a setting i haven't found yet so i'm still searching.
other than that it's the best rom i've found to date and i think i've tried most of them.

Hi guys, I tried this last night, yea its quick but as soon as i changed that iphone theme with something more like able, the Playboy Playmate Review by Phonatic and a few other Apps, it slowed down also it contains that activesync bug too. Gotta remember its Beta and hope some of our experienced cookers can rape and mark it with there own stamp !!

I had this rom for 3 days and it is really slow. I did not like the way it works and everything when a new message is received, I try to use the manilla it would hang. Hence I used the other 6.5 Rom from PDAviet. It is stable and also consume less battery than PDAMobiz rom.

I would love to have ExtraClean YuE 6.5.

I think its ever best window for artemis.

Hello, i'm Thai and very impressive with this rom after using 2 days.
I think he made this rom by using Extra Tools (Full SYS and Full XIP ported)
This rom use Camera software Ver 6.13 so you can fix focus quickly and include with Panorama Mode.
But the important is This rom is a beta Version.

Too bad the hardware does not support any kind of focus. It is impossible to get auto focus of any kind to work because the camera/lens simply cant support it. 6.13 is also included in Gullums rom and some other roms, unfortunately it wont allow you to focus on anything.
