Hello there!
I got a BA recently, second-hand. I have one stupid question: how do I create MMS messages?? I've tried in regular way - by running the messaging app, but there is no such option (I have the 'MMS settings' option in the 'Tools' menu). I've tried creating a new account (as described in the WM5 section), but there is no option for selecting account type as MMS. I've tried hard-resetting a couple of times, placing and installing MMSComposer (in a couple of versions, starting from my 'orginal', taken from my default ExtROM 1.5, through 2.0 and up to 2.5; tested also the WM5 MMS CAB, but it removed the MMS Settings option) in Extended_ROM, tapping-and-holding-then-selecting 'Send MMS' in the address book (it created either an e-mail or SMS message) - still no idea(
Hellow all,
I flashed the Edhaas base ROM yesterday and finished setting MMS message. But after soft reseting the deviece, the MMS message in Messaging was missing. I checked the setting in registry and all the settings about the MMS message are there. How can I have the MMS message appeared again? Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can get the Install File to get this back on my phone? The one from Tmobiles ROM
I guess its not possible!? its the only AIM version that I could get working on my service.
here is OZ...the original i think
thank you so much. i've been all over looking for this since i installed the kavana rom
actually i'm getting connection issues with both yahoo and AIM
on AIM i'm getting a text while signing on that says...
WV11RL2 ST = (200, "Successful") SI=1.1ax
and it goes on for more than i care to type.
it then times out.
make sure you install it to the phone not the storage card.
Thanks. I was looking for this.
I installed it to the phone's memory and it works great.
Does Oz count toward my SMS usage or internet?

I was having that same error so I installed the OZ Messenger to the phone but I am still getting the "Communications Error" after AIM tries to sign on.
I've tried to reboot many times but no dice.
after trying about 10 times, it finally connected but once I logged off and tried to connect again, I get the same connection error.
I tried rebooting many times no to avail.

Is your phone App unlocked??
try this version AFTER you uninstall and reboot your phone.
Reboot after you install it in main memory.

Hello,
I am having issues with my HTC Wildfire running 2.2.1 Froyo (SUnAaBh v1.1 ROM) sending and recieving Multi Media Messages (MMS).
I recently went over to this ROM from Stock for various reasons and it was since then that this issue has arised
I've spoken to my Network Provider O2UK and have got the correct settings for PAYG.
Sadly whenever I try to send or recieve a MMS, I get the following error message 'Unable to Send - Generic Network Failure' or 'Unable to Download - Generic Network Failure'.
I've tried the usual, remove and re-add APN Settings with reboot inbetween, no difference.
Mobile Internet works fine, its just MMS
I am hoping someone out there knows the solution.
Many thanks
Jason
It helped me when I changed authentication type to PAP in mms apn settings.

+1 here
I'm was on RC1.5 and had this problem, now I'm on 110930 NIGHTLY (clean install) and still can't get MMS to work with any setting. Tried manual settings for APNs but nothing. Data works fine.
Even tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253108 and http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/19827-mms-not-sending-with-cm7-rc4/ but without success.
Please help!
Finally SOLVED!
After trying everything that should be working (and everything that shouldn't ), I managed to find what is wrong. At least for me.
Here is my solution:
In APN settings you have one APN for internet and one for MMS. Network automatic setting set both APNs type as: default, supl, mms.
1. Set internet APN type as: default, supl
2. Set MMS APN type as: mms
3. Go to App manager and clear Messaging application data - this is very important!
4. Enjoy sending your photos
