Latest Rom

Hi guys, I understand all the roms were taken off this site but I need some help.
I bought the HTC excalibur today and it has a test rom on it. as a result I cannot use wifi as it says driver is not found. Where can I find the latest htc excalibur rom.

your device may not have the hardware. The test ROM on my device had no problems with WiFi but some devices have been sold without the hardware and the firmware that has the WiFi drivers makes no difference.
Just a possibility...

bgniko, you're are AWESOME! I must have spent in excess of 4 hours looking around the Internet for different ROMs to use with my T-Mobile Dash, and you really helped me out. Thanks!
P.S. If you happen to find the Dopod C720W ROM (looking for it for the Traditional Chinese support), please let me know. It's not available on Dopod Taiwan's member only site... yet.

Q about BlackBerry Connet

Hey guys,
If I get a phone that supports BB Connect or a Diamond ROM that does, what else do I need to get this service working? Would I need to subscribe to something from my Telco and pay for the service every month?

This post is "kinda" in the wrong place, but....
The Trinity is not the Diamond - At present bbconnect DOES NOT work with any Diamond Roms. Many of the Rom Chef's have stated that they will look at this when they have time and Walshieau has promised both a working Rom and the possibility of a new "special" bbconnect release for Diamond but we'll have to wait and see - these guys are busy and its not easy work?
My advice would be to monitor the forums and look for any updates - there is a specific Thread for Blackberry updates - see link bellow:

Sorry, these are not the 1.69 drivers I requested. I am looking for the latest 1.69 drivers like Bepe actual 0.99dx ROM. I've found something in the Raphael section; but the 1.69 rilphone.dll is sucking... Device hangs at bootup.. Any help???

I think Bepe is trying to port Raphael drivers to Diamond, you can download the Raphael kitchen and dump the last Raphael ROM :

and I wish you good luck to test if each dll is working fine on Diamond.
Other solution : install the Bepe ROM and retrieve correspondig drivers.
On my hand, I prefers to wait for the next official release instead of spending hours to test each dll.

Thats what I did. Dumped the 1.69 Raphael ROM and tested the drivers.

i tested the rom but in my openion, i thank that the update 27/1/09 is better than 28/1/09

I am facing some issues with the Notepad, When i try to open txt file, i get a error message " file not found. and when I try to open from the software it does't list the file.
Apart from this above issue, This ROM is really good and works Very fine.

I don't have any problem with this release, just "usual" Internet explorer error when i am connected to the computer. This rom is fast,stable .Another great job!!

Thankx for the new release of WM6.1 for PDAL. can you please tell me what are the basic difference between the 27th Jan'09 and 28th Jan'09 release?? Is there any difference in the customized applications installed?? Dear please tell as installing and trying the two ROMs just for checking the difference is very difficult. u kknow that... please help

5221109 is the most latest WM6.1 rom (as i know) it also gets rid of the slow scrolling with directional keypad... there are a lot of changes in this rom, you can search around for a official M$'s what's new documentation about this version of WM6.1 build...
It is just a matter of time that there was a time when people were dying to flash their PDAL devices with even WM6 but now they have a lot of choices between different OSs with different versions... lol isn't that amazing?

Gr8 dear!!! its working perfectly fine on my new ROM. But one more thing, i m not able to bring wireless options on my home screen. Everytime i need to activate wifi or bluetooth i need to go to connections>wireless manager to enable them. Please advice

Install the attached file and restart your device, Wireless will be on your today screen...

[Q] Diamond Driver

hy everybody!
my problem is: when i flash my diamond with a newer rom(2.03 official), the graphics isn't as smooth as in the 1.93 official rom. (ex: in 2.03 rom, in touchflo pictures tab: the image flipping is not smooth. but in 1.93rom yes.)
so my question:
what can i do? can display driver(ddi.dll) do this? i don't know.
and sorry for my english, i am hungarian, and a happy diamond user(with old rom )

After rom flashing, did you install any additional software on your diamond?
Are these roms the original from your provider (O2, orange, t-mobile, vodafone ...)?

no, i use the 1.93 rom from the htc support page. (but not with my s/n)
so i have to flash with a rom from my operator?
but why works well with 1.93 rom, and why not with 2.03?

I don't know
But, to play it safe, I would flash the operator rom, after flash let it boot, and after that make a hardreset.

i don't know what is the difference betwen the 2 rom. just i know the packages version, and the windows mobile build.
but i would like to use l3v5y's lite rom(6.5) but it isn't smooth too. so i have to grab the drivers and things for the display to work smooth.
what would i do?

OK, sorry, if I could see your problem, it would be easier.
The rom I use is very smooth, perhaps you will give it a try.
There a different drivers, but I don't know what they are good for (2D or 3D).
In the rom I use is the "Neos2007 Driverpack V3" cooked in.

Did you flash the rom (Gen.Y) or did you install the driver pack?

i flashed with gen.y rom but now i know that the differences isn't in the ddi.dll

This rom is really good, isn't it? Don't you want to use it? I think it's a good compromise ...
