If I recall correctly, BEPE posted some original OS...
Maybe he knows there's more than money in life....

Either that or UDK isn't 24/7 awaiting for and ready to reply to your PMs.
He and every other cooks deserve the donations.
That said, I don't agree with the development methods used in this whole forum, but talking 'bout that is useless.

i really dont understant why ripping some guy rom isnt really bad here... but asking for it seems a bit rude...

but I don't understand, have buildos with xipport for update OS version, have also rom creation date updater, have g'reloc, have 1933 from other device and for trinity yet ready and want, what do you want???
you have 1933 from pdaviet for trinity, only need dsm and rgu files, you have all you need, why ask for something that you have already....

Nothing....It wasn't me who asked for the original rom...
But if it's true that cookers are being selfish and don't share the original OS because they fear the concurrence of other cookers...then it's a crappy atitude...
This is a community, not a business....

How true, especially from those that are actually cooking from the work of others and are acting as if its their own, then demand respect and money..?? well guess what as per these particular bunch of "mano nero" and the glorious statement they place at the beginning of their threads I am one of the haters, that is of people who have zero comprehension of 'community'.

I'm the owner of a Trinity .. obviously!!
after buying the device i unlocked it and installed mUn windows mobile 05 and it was working flawlessly ... apart from the slow responses because of wm05 ...
then i did it ...
I installed wm06 cooked and i got hooked ... trying this and that .. bepe pdaviet karmba axel mary etc... and still not settled !!! and 6.1 came out !!
all i wanted is a reliable wm06 ROM ... fast with good storage ... no battery or memory leaks .. and working (main functions GSM, 3G, wifi, GPS, Bluetooth) ...
I guess this is the wish of all of us Trinity users ...
any one found a rom with these things ??? or shall we go for the last official dopod ?? is 6.1 more stable than 6 or the opposite ??

ADW ROM (wm6) is at this moment the most stable ROM for me.

most diff between roms are what extre programs are cooked into the rom
so whats best depend on if you are a hardcore teen gamer or a 56year old doctor who use your pda as a work tool
if there was 1 best rom then everybody would be using that and all others would be seen as lagency roms which was out of date and nobody used....

i thought i got the answer with the amazing FInixNOver 3.0.2 it rocks .. solid .. fast .. yet it is still has the wm6 bluetooth curse ... when sending big files .. they just get stuck!!!

I too am a ADW convert. the layout and graphics are awesome. just waiting for the WM 6.1 version

Right... This ROM rocks
The only problems I have:
- Desapearing accounts & passwords (known problem)
- TomTom is really really slow

very faq !!

any ideas regarding the curse of the bluetooth ???

heard some news that the 6 bluetooth bug is fixed in 6.1 ... dunno if it's true .. i'll try it tonight !!

As u all know that some files in the OEM r diff for HTC, Dopod & Softbank ... in order for a better WM6.1 ROM, I need the WM6 Roms ...
Hopefully somebody can put up links for the req roms.
Or just provide me wz the dump(raw also can do)

What do you mean "not original"???
If you sim unlocked your phone, now it probably has Dopod Rom, so it's no good.

Sorry if this a a stupid response - if you need the original WM6 ROM image, can you not extract from the ROM's stored on the XDA FTP Server :

One question..... in the HOW TO the last step of the files says "a valid signed official Touch ROM.". Maybe this sound a bit dumb, but... i guess that I need to use the Cava ROMs right?

upload it in asapload.com, will b fine wz me ... see the howto in 1st post of this thread

I MIGHT be able to convince a friend to 'DUMP' his ROM. I am new to all this.....
What exactly does this do to the phone after it's dumped? Can he use it on softbank, or does he need a new ROM? Is there anyway to screw it away and 'brick' his phone?

nothing will be done to the phone it wont brick ur phone, refer to the thread.
I have made a WWE version of the softbank rom ... not in Japanese yet ... cant find the correct language files that work on WM6.1 ...

It is a 5 minute job to change the header....I don't see what all the fuss is about. Learn how to change the setting yourself and then you can try as many ROM's as you like. It really is simple....it has to be if I was able to do it.
Building a ROM to specifically suit the P3600i is a lot more involved....that is why we have only had 2 Chefs able to do it....
Hopefully you will not find Touchflow 2D etc too draining on resources. Personally I prefer the simple ROM's.

A quick search gives you all the information you need.
Look here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=399827&page=2 at the 2nd part of Post 20.
That allows you to be able to change the header.
As for building your own ROM.....keep reading....I am sure the info is here as long as you have the time to find it and understand it.

Unfortunately it is trial and error. Some work and some don't as you can see if you look at the P3600i Working ROM's thread.
To be honest I am not sure if the Karmba_a ROM will work as I haven't tried it.

I am not sure it`s work for P3600i, from K`s ROM there is BT problem before,so is there anyone test this version BT is OK??
And one thing,this version 5.2.22222 is fake,5.2.20755 that is true version hope that all use 5.2.22222`s ROM maker change to 5.2.20755,

1. I am not surprised if BT does not work... there is a cab that you can install to fix it

The cab that is under Mr Smiley in the P3600i Working ROM's thread may fix it....if there is a problem.
Until someone tries it no-one will know.
For me...reading the thread....there are too many issues to even bother.
The ROM I currently use is perfect and while Manilla 2D looks good I don't think it is too functional on Trinities with their limited memory.

Once they're finished, I will spend sometime to learn to cook (pizza... oops i meant ROM)... or even convert from P3600 ROM to P3600i ROM
There is a small community out there who've got P3600i like mine. So just wanna help them... For me, it's more interesting to learn something but I wouldn't mind use any ROM. It's a joy that I can cook a ROM that works for my PDA. Hope that I can join the xda crews

I just sent you an e-mail with a link to a file you may want to try out....Karmba_a 11.2 needs more work to crack it as it is in an Executable format and I really don't have the time to play with it at the moment.

Clean version of WM 6.1. How to go into Serial Mode?

Okay so I have some newbie questions that are probably stupid questions to ask but here goes anyway...
Is there a way to get a clean uncooked version of WM 6.1? Do cooked ROMs work with any WM 6.1 phone or are there hardware specific settings in each ROM which would require you to use a cooked ROM of your specific phone's model in order to work right?
I can usually understand the technical aspect of most things but this whole ROM cooking thing seems like such a higher level of technicality than I am capable of really understanding. I tried following some of the tutorials but I just get lost.
And for the noob of newbie questions... I don't know how to get my phone to go into "serial" mode. When I connect my phone to my computer using my USB cable, the phone asks if I want to go into "Storage Card" mode or "ActiveSync" mode... no serial mode option. When the phone is off and I connect it, it just starts up and loads WM 6.1 to get me to that same ActiveSync/Storage Card screen.
And lastly, everyone is going probably going to jump down my throat about this but... I have a Chinese phone called a Ciphone C5. I love the WM 6.1 OS but I'm still trying to figure it out. Here's the specs:
Model: Ciphone C5
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
ROM Version: 01.001.1 CHS
ROM Date: 3/24/2009
Processor: 450 MHz Samsung 2443C
Don't know if that helps anyone, but any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated by me. Thanks,

I am Still not able to build and then rebuild it.
The rebuild new Ciphone.Bin is always smaller than the old one.
And the Flashprogramm does not accept it for loading to the Ciphone C6
I think there are some parts missing after rebuilding. But I don't know at witch step there is the failure.
Please give me the parameters to use OSNBTOOL in the right way.
