I have a french phone provider by SFR operator and I can't use my S/N to download this rom and see if it's a WM5 ou WM6 rom.
Can anyone do this for me (french people) ?

Yeah, I was able to get the download too, and it was WM5, see screenshot attached:
I don't understand why HTC provides us WM5 roms since we all know that P3600 is WM6 compatible. Licence question ?

Actually HTC released a WM6 OEM last year some time that included the GPS capability. I believe it's the LAST OEM that was released by HTC for the P3600.

They stated that after this release, they had no plans to move forward with newer updates. I'm sure in an attempt to get people to buy new phones.
Guess they never planned on XDA keeping the P3600 alive for so long huh?

the ROM offered from HTC as "update" is WM5 Upgrade_Italian(1.23.408.2)
A little late when you have tried it with WM6..

I don't think the SE will be available but the latest ROM (1.66) should be available at an official Proximus reseller.

You can also use the T-Mobile ROM, as I do.
It recognizes Base as Base and not as Orange, like the Qtek ROM does.

Hi guys,
I got an unlocked O2 XDA2 with a WWE O2 2.02 rom and radio 1.17, i need to make it work on belgian proximus network.
phones works ok but it seems The sms does not work, when i try to get in the phone setting it says phone not ready.
Any idea a rom i can use on it ?
i also need internet connexion parameters and mms if you got so for proximus.

Hi,
I upgraded my Qtek 2020 with the roms from xda2jojo.
If you just use his nk.nbf and radio.nbf, you can upgrade to rom 2.06 and radio 1.18, while keeping your original extended rom.

I used pdocread to dump the OS ROM to a RAW file and Encoded/Decoded the RAW file to convert it to a nbkbf file
I just copied my Extended ROM after Unlocking/Unhiding the extended ROM and ZIPPED it to a file.
The radio, I used the radio_.nbf file of the original Qtek WWE Shipping ROM.
All these files are in the XDA Dev FTP section under Uploads

The guys at www.msmobiles.com have an article regarding an interview with one of the officers of i-mate who stated that the JASJAR will have an update by end of february.
This was stated at one of the GSM conferences. Don't know how reliable i-mate's word is with regards to ROM date releases, though

There is another one wwe rom on ftp the UNI CDL 001 13076 164 10900. What is the difference between the above mentioned rom and this rom? Which one is the best?

And incidentally, "universal upgrading" doesn't mean upgrading for everything universally, it's upgrading for the HTC Universal, a particular type

You may try qtek website but probably you will get wm2003.
For wm2005, you can get the latest non-official rom here in the forums but they're in English.

So far there hasn't been any update, not even reference to future update to the OS. As far as I remember, HTC stated their policy not to offer upgrades to P3600 devices.
Maybe it is a FAQ question which has been posted to the wrong section of the site or maybe HTC might have changed their mind...
... I only saw 6., not 6.1.

No update on the htc e-club, checked today. Latest version is WM5.
I e-mailed HTC asking about an official upgrade to 6.1 for the P3600i and the reply I got was that they will not be offering an upgrade to WM6.1 for the D810 or P3600i only the TyTN II.
We have 6.1 running on our D810 but are still waiting for a method to update the P3600i.

Which 6.1 ROM are you running on your D810? How are you finding it? I tried the OEM 6.0 ROM on mine and wasn't too much of a fan so went back to WM5 but am thinking of upgrading again. If it's a cooked ROM, I assume GPS is enabled?
