SMS viewing font - HTC Excalibur

Does anybody know where in the registry is the key that changes the font used when viewing an SMS? I changed all "Segoe Condensed" matches in the registry with another font and the SMS editing font has changed but not the viewing one.

I would also like to know that....Im sure font size can be edited too. Do you know where I can edit?

Change CHome time to LED Font style!

Just modify CHome_320x240.cpr ,set the font face of time.
I've modify one for Excalibur WM6.1,just download it unzip file to the windows folder, and reboot to take effect
i use the font name called Register
if you want to back to the original time font style ,just delete CHome_320x240.cpr and rename Register.ttf to 000,reboot ,then delete 000

Awesome, Beautiful, now that's adding class to the Excalibur! "LED Digital Time". Everybody will want this add on.........! Looks more like the scoreboard clock at Madison Square Garden, or it makes me fell like I'm at the stadium watching the game, awesome guy. How much time is left in the game...........?
Here's a variation, with a font that looks MORE like a digital clock
Download .cab below... or just the files in the zip. Cab is easier... just install.

kavana thank you so much have only just installed Kavana 080408 and it's so sweet this tops it off, Bruv
Any chance of you making this with the forte font? Would look so sweet.
Have included font in case it helps.
I really liked the LED font, but I found that it really screwed up fonts elsewhere on the phone -- Opera, CHome Weather Settings...
Is there a way for the Clock Font Change and everything else to co-exist?

Yes. Try this: Transfer "Tahoma" font from your PC to your device. Place the font in the \Windows folder and rename it to "aatahoma". Reboot your phone. Afterwards, the default font that those programs detect should be Tahoma instead of the LED font.

Windows Fonts Inquiry
I checked the Fonts folder under \Windows and did not see any. I would like to change the clock font to that of an LCD screen/alarm clock. I believe I have found where to change that in registry but I'm wondering if I can just drop some fonts from my PC onto the phone and just go.

You don't say what ROM your using the difference if your using Rose ROM the .cpr will be called HTCSlidingPanel or SlidingPanelMedia "if i remeber correctly lol" depending on the homescreen your using .cpr.
The more info you give the easier it is to help.

If you only want to go from white to black , you can choose it on settings/homescreen/color scheme. If you want to make your own colors you got to edit your phone's .xml file.
Tnx for reply!
I did modify xml file to change font to black, but can't move file into settings
I modified the xml file for the Live theme to change the font color from white to black and copied the file back to my phone using Active Sync. The file is there - I can open it and look at it and see the change, but I cannot move it to the Settings area where the actual theme, colors, etc. are selected. How do I do that or is there another way to apply the file to the homescreen?
Thx in advance!!

The edited .xml files have to be placed in My Device/Application Data/Home for you to be able to choose it from settings/homescreen/color scheme.

Manila 2.5.1920 Font Color change?

When using Wallpapers that are more on the bright side and BG4all, it becomes really difficult to read the text on some of the HTC Sense (Manila 2.5) tabs, especially the messaging one.
So I was wondering if it is possible to change the font color to black or something else.
Anyone know something about this?
Thanks,
Rag.

Same question here.
I found a thread where they talk about it but its not Manila 2.5.
So I would like to know which Files I have to edit in 2.5
Here is the Thread I mean:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452
Thank you for help
I use m9Editor, look for the mode9 files for the parts u want to change..
Manila mode9 u can search say for all entries called "text" this will so you things such as carrier name, in there you can add a property for the colour and change it to what you want.
Look for the m9editor thread, much better explanations in there than I can give
Found them;-
My example, if this is what you mean - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=570395
Edit Manila - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=567515
font and colors for the preview on tab change are on 3a8e04af t
thanks for the search for "text" tip that lead me right to what I needed.
hello i wan't to change the font color in the tabs to black....i got manila 2012. First I copy all _manila files from /windows to my storage card and next to my computer but i don't know which files i must use. I try to find the files which names is the same like here -> wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Manila_Research (sorry i can't add normal links) , but I don't have it! ;/
I wan't change this color on the all tabs except home tab. Could you tell me which files I must edit on the m9editor ?
ps. sorry for my bad english...

Windows Phone 7 Font {Segoe WP} Series

If you installed Visual Studio 2010 on your PC, you can simply go to "C:\Windows\Fonts\" dirctory..
and select this Family Font "Segoe WP" which stands for Segoe Windows Phone.
And this font is useful for themes devs and apps devs to create a real WP7 theme or app.
For those who do not have VS2010, simply download the attached file.
Thanks for sharing this
very nice, thanks
Thanks - this is exactly what I was looking for!
any chance you could just zip up the fonts vs. having an exe file? thanks
here you go!
Awesome, thanks for this. Now to muck around changing system fonts on my HD2..

how do you change the font sizes in WP7 , I posted this in another thread ,but maybe you guys know, in contacts , the font color is the same as the tile color , can I change the font color in contacts and still have a different tile color , also the size of the font in contacts is so small you need reading glasses to see it, where in the registry can I change the sizes?
These are taken from windows ce , same location, not sure what is what yet
System HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\SysFnt
Menu bar HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu\BarFnt
Pop-up menu HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu\PopFnt
Out of Memory window HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\OOMFnt

Isn't this font identical to Segoe UI, the primary UI font for both Windows Vista and 7, which you therefore certainly already have on your system?

Correct Syntax for Changing Font Type?

Hello everyone, I'm currently messing around with my MMS app a little bit and I'm trying to change the font of a particular item's text to a thinner version of "Roboto". According to Android the font that ships with JellyBean is called "Roboto". I'd like to change the font from regular to the "thin" or "light" versions as referenced here: http://developer.android.com/design/style/typography.html
I've got the correct XML file open and I have android:typeFace="Roboto-Light" in the correct TextView field, but the apktool compiler doesn't like "typeFace" so that must be incorrect. What's the correct syntax to change a font's typeFace in an XML file?
Thank in advance,
Alcolawl
