As my last work for a while, I'm releasing a ROM dedicated to the P3600i users.
Don't ask if it's possible to install on a P3600 as I've already released the P3600 version.
The ROM Skinpack is Black as it was the winning color in the poll I posted along with the FInix3.6 ROM Thread.

Vijay today toggle works properly in this build (it had the problem also, but I was able to solve it).
To select multiple SMS in messaging, go to "menu->select messages" and choose the option you need (it's like the selection in contacts).

Battey life is fine here....the ROM is very stable and memory remains at around 23meg ever since it was first loaded (after adding my normal programs).
I am running radio 1.50 but realistically I have never really had poor battery life with any of the radios.

I fixed my batterylife issues. It looks like one of my connections wasn't connected successfully all the time.. so it was draining the battery life. I fixed that at now all is good
This is THE ONLY stable (well for 4 days day, the longest time i have ever had with a 3600i rom not doing a hard reset). So im really impressed.

4 days....mine has been up for nearly 3 weeks now with no problems at all.

Great ROM - really stable (though one hard reset), love the theme (at first I wasn't sold on it but it really grows on you).

By the way, I don't like the black WM6.1 screeen (appear when boot) so much. I like the Green orginally WM6.1 screen. Can i change it back? haha
And I like O2 Plus's Taks manager than WkTASK. WkTASK seens use more ram than O2 Plus. Moreover, I think O2 Plus's calendar view in Today screen is the best.

I unfortunately have to retract my statement about it being stable... having a run of hard resets unfortunately... Every week or so the phone slows right down, then stalls altogether, and won't reboot without a hard reset.
Any one else having problems? I really love this ROM and are loathe to give it up but don't know what to do if these problems continue...

Now about Beam:
Beam now works as it should!! You can enable/disable beam either in Comm Manager or Settings->Connections->Beam. So you don’t have to worry about enabling/disabling in both places.
Tweaks:
For users that don't like threaded messages / turn on SMS notifications (turned on by default in my ROM), go here (Thanks to iamwhoiam), or here.
For those of you that don't like the battery icon, but also don't want to have the time or date display on the title bar, you can have another icon. An analog clock. Download "FInixNOver Title Bar Analog Clock Tweak.cab". Don't forget to soft reset afterwards.

How about OS build Shouldn't that be enough reason for you?
More speed and stability, some changes in media dlls, amongst other things.
One question - how much free RAM is there in the full version compared to the LIGHT version for installing programs??

I had one question, could i use backup from SPB Backup, when i do this on 3.2 version?

You must not restore full backups (that include system files) from previous roms, bc it can cause somethings so stop working properly.

About that, I haven't been able to fix it. I still need to try with new XIP part, but I decided to stick with the XIP part that solves most problems for most users. Because I don't know many people that will use TOMTOM while listening to music on the device...
I actually love your roms, they're very fast and stable. But still there's something that's keeping me from using them and it's that HTC home won't show the media tab, and that's my favourite, and also you should think about including audio manager instead of just windows media player, audio manager's playlist system is more useful.

Now you can use media tab in HTC Home. It's just not enabled by default.
To enable it go to Start->Settings->Today
Disable home plugin
In HTC Home tab check Music
Enable home plugin

That feature is not working on our device (as far as I know it's a device limitation, not my ROM)
If someone has it working, please advise.

I can understand that it's not te priority.
But I don't think it's a question of XIP. On the pdaviet rom which had solved this issue, I tested several version of this pdaviet rom and all of them had diffrent build number and the A2DP was ok on all of them.(19719, 19209, 19701, 19213)
Hope it can help to find the solution.

Making the ROM in 3 colors has become too much work for me. So this thread also has a poll to see which color will be chosen for my ROMs from now on. For now I'll post only the Black version. It will last 5 days. After the poll ends, I'll post also the winning color (if it's not Black).
I'll be releasing an Ultra light ROM, and as you can all imagine it would be even more work for me to make it in 3 colors.

For both questions the answer is yes. For the first you just need to know what you're doing, other than that it should work.

Thank you for all your hard work. I have been using the ROM for an hour, one quick observation is related to memory. immediately after boot it is around 21mb, where as with 3.5 it was around 25. after a few minutes it drops to 18.5 and it seems to be stable around there. Is that the same behaviour you expect? Or maybe I have a bad flash?

Finix light black 3.6 has 24.4 MB free after first boot (and customization). Finix light black 3.5 has 27.3 MB free under same conditions. List of processes memory consumption show no viable difference between two versions. So , a bit weird.
Otherwise - great rom !!
Thanks finix&over..your roms are superb..however..i dislike the black colour prefer the grey one..from my point of view, the black it is just.. tooo black..not good for my eyes

I went back to my default performance values, since there was some people complaining that build 3.5, was rather sluggish. If you want to change that, use something like sktools or schaps advanced config.
Fianlly, after so long silence, grate to see you back

Faster, stable, more memory available, I think by far this is the best ROM for Artemis
i have try it for 2 days,after that change back to pdaviet Artemis & Love Wm6.1 Build 20275.1.3.3 due to not so practical in normal using.
it's lack of shortcut in the 'today' screen and sometime run very slowy. or can I add more shortcut in the 'today' screen?
Maybe it's only my LOVE has this problem, how about yours?
but no connection wizard! all settings for gprs, mms, internet and so on have to be done manually... this could be a no go for someones...

V31 was slow on my artemis too, went back to V30, and have no more problems.

ok, i'll go back to v30b, too. speakerphone on v31b once set never can be disabled again... v 31 has ugly icons, no connection wizard, and slower too...
I'm running 31 now too, and so far it looks OK. Not really faster than YuE 10 Extraclean with a manual install of Manila2D, but it works good.
Since this morning I've got the problem that the home screen freezes when I select the mail tab. I don't know what the reason is. The only things I've installed are M2DC (for customising tabs) TomTom 7.451.9033, iGo 8 (1 sep version) and Resco Explorer 7.05.
I'll try v30, or maybe give YuE 10 another go with a newer version of the manual installation.
I actually like the color scheme in this rom, so I'll look in the Manila themes section for something comparable.
I guess that SPB Mobile Shell + manila theme won't give the same experience?

You can switch Mousemode if you follow the instructions here
For device lock use the search.... there's a lot of applications which do that; I don't know which one you'd like
My mail tab problem is over, so I'll stay with v31 a while longer.... Don't know what caused it, but it's gone?

..not with me! speaker phone works as usual.
memory problems result from configuration of task manager. go into taskmanager settings and set to "button" = "end programs by tapping "X"" - only than will programs be really terminated!
i am using device lock and M2DC_v0.5.0.44 to configure manilla- and its running perfectly!
if all this manilla is really needed is another question, but it looks nicely atm, and untill someone combines yues extraclean will manilla, this is the one for me!
one thing i still like to change: keep music playing with display switched off
any one for that?

well i allready dumped the extra clean already few days ago and i'm thinking of making a rom with the 2D manila but still it needs sometime cuz i'm newbie in cooking and these days i'm a bit busy.

Stable of all the 6.5 Versions
This version looks to be more stable off all the other 3 versions of 6.5.
Keyboard is Very Pathetic. I liked the Keyboard used by Achilles.
And camera version is older version that Achilles ROM.
Also the Media Players Plays each song for 40secs Only then jumPs to next song.
Need to Edit registry for running the Audio Manager when Screen Is off.
Battery Drains of very Fast. Not even one day......

hi i have to say nice rom i had to overclock mine to 273 then it run sweet as a nut but the sim manager needs seeing to as when i wanted to put my contacts from sim to phone it only seen afew of them so i tryed to refresh and then it comes up with mobile error everytime please sort this out thanks i think this rom is very good just alittle bug thanks for the work

not to tick you off,
but i for sure am an old artemis freak, even having tried an iphone 2g the last week, I honestly have to say meschles vanilla 4.02 is the one and only fast, stable and simply usable rom i have tried upto now - all m2d roms are sluggish in comparison- espacially when runnung tomtom7, all wm 6.5 rom-regardless of the radio rom used- drain my p330 within 2days, where under vanilla4.02 i run a solid 7 days routine...
so as i posted in my plea-thread-- any bare 6.5 rom upto beating 4.02?

This Rom has lovely looking menus and window effects, but this contributes to heavy use of RAM and some slow-downs. Unfortunately, changing a theme seemed to lose these lovely menus.
The Titanium plugin works well, particularly with a changed background.
A good keyboard and dialler.
Shame about the old camera.
Lovely Icons.
The Honeycomb programs selector will take some getting used to, if it does become the Standard.
This could have been a contender to DJ M2D WM6.5 5.0 UL if it wasn't for RAM issues and slow-downs.

After using Dheewaras last WM6.5 i'm starting to like the new Titanium so probably wont want to use the manilla....rather have the 20Mb RAM back

( newer versions of titanium you can drag either the background OR the selector bar up and down...older versions you could only drag the background
also newer versions of lock you have other notifications sliders for unread txt's, emails etc, older ones you only had the one unlock slider with no notifications )

I try it and for me there isn't more speed than the last of P'Dhee (21198)
- CAm v 4.03 (27076)
- Ram with Tflo = 14-15 Mb and Titanium= 20 Mb
- Start menu have bigger icone ?
- Lock bar is on top now
- Music play with titanium don't stop when screen is turned off ( i appreciate )
But missing some application like Oxios memory or Gfinger.
The dialer have no skin and keyboard too.
About IE i don't know...

this wm6.5 -stuff is slowing my gadget down far too much!
in addition this finger-scrolling iphone imitation doesnt work on p3300 - either stick with an iphone or forget about wanting this for p3300!
if you want speed- use yue extraclean,
if you want a decent mixture between speed and "uptodatedness" use (Build 21042.1.6.1) SYS XIP full ported (02-04-09) by PDhee in lite version

You can usually change this in SETTINGS ... look for KEY LOCK... in the last DHEE rom it was in START - SETTINGS - SYSTEM
IMHO :
The slowness on previous roms seems to be mostly M2D
i've not had ANY speed issues of DHEE's last 21198 rom just using titanium, but you're right...so far it seems forget M2D on 6.5 for an Artemis device. M2D takes up too much RAM and NOTHING can run properly once it's installed.
Titanium is starting to look nice now, and behaves well once you're used to it.
Hopefully some newer roms will have the facility to auto-lock the device on standby too....without having to set a PIN

Titanium Weather
The Titatnium today does not have the Titanium Weather display. Checked from Titanium Configurator that both the Test UI Plugin and Clink are enabled still it does not appear on the Titanium Today. Seems like the cmhome.dll does not have these plugin.
Any idea how to fix this or can some extract the cmhome.dll from 21198 and post it here.
