To All Rom Cookers.
I try to cook my own rom but I have a problem. If I remove the
PACKAGE_Diamond_VideoTelephony and
PACKAGE_Diamond_VideoTelephony_0407
my normal dialer have grafic errors.
The PACKAGE_Diamond_PhoneCanvas contains all grafics is included.
Is there a regsetting that I forgot to edit?

Hi, I have one of these Diamonds with the small memory I am looking for a real clean rom and will try yours. Is it possible to remove some more programs? I would not need: office mobile (all of them), Adobe Reader LE, Google Maps, Erste Schritte, Hilfe, Opera Browser, MP3 Trimmer, Windows Live, You Tube. Someone anounced an ultra slim version but I still can't find any. I don't know if it makes sense to remove these programs regarding the amount of Programmspeicher which is my problem in the moment. I flashed a few versions now and still have just ~23MB there which is not enough for Navigation. Hopefully I have a bit more with your rom.

what do u mean with "Diamond with the small memory"?
if u mean the Programm memory, u can gain more 10MB if u disable the phone skin!

i've tried alot of roms and until now your rom seems too be the most "originally" clean rom. It has all the nessasary apps you need. So thanks for your work and keep on.

just delete the contents of the NetCF Folder in SYS and paste in the new files from NetCF3.5

u can change it to 4 mb if u want more free RAM

u can use it to cook it in your ROMs

Hi!
A ROM upgrade cannot be done as a cab file. You need to use the RUU upgrade utilities provided by HTC. Remember to load the USPL before doing any upgrade.

i m uploading youtube app now ..........
ROM flashed.. current issues
ROM flashed.. basically its fast but there are couple of problems
no ArcSoft MMS... meaning no built in support for MMS in this ROM... hav to install it manually
problem with threaded SMS being loaded.. SMS never loaded wen i recieved it frm pocket outlook.. dont know what is causing this problem.
There is a folder on the start menu called 'Document Viewers' which is blank.. it seems the cooker forgot to put some programs there..
M2D keeps on crashing and has to reload it every now and then.. dont know why..
i have flashed it twice jst to see if it helps or solves the problem.. bt it doesnt..
anyone else tried this rom?? can anyone confirm these???

The only way is to cook a version with GWES.EXE from build 21xxx.
Maybe it is better to use a cooked rom based on 21xx because iclude all the new HTC goodies....

well iti s said that swapping the gwes.exe as well as the mui would make the notification manager n the enhancement menu work but still you'll encounter problems.
somestimes it just doesnt work. better take a 21xxx built
finally i got my hands on the leaked pine rom (most links are dead).
since i got a diamond as gift from a friend i worked on it.
i want to share my osbuilder kitchen with you.
to cook, install osbuilder, open kitchen folder and then language config you prefer.
as you know, diamond pine 6.5 rom has only wm, oemdrivers and debug stuff inside.
-added compatible diamond ext packages from 2.03/2.09 wm6.1 roms
-updated sys and xip to 21913
-removed debug stuff
-updated google maps
-updated voice speed dial
-updated taskmanager
-updated opera 9.50 to latest version
-added facebook
-added voice command
-added transcriber
-added vga htc black theme (classicblue background)
-removed welcomecenter
-dummy sqm and fwupdate
-removed autoupdate
-removed scroll stuff from 6.1
-removed marketplace (discontinued by ms)
-removed myphone (discontinued by ms)
-added htc scroll for 6.5
-added pim backup
-added xda_uc
issues:
-youtube app won't start (dependency on touchflo file HTCSetScrollInfo.dll) - i'll try to fix this
-let me know
on first boot, when customization is done, make a soft reset (taskbar does not react).
on second boot, all works and xda_uc will start.
i wanted to keep the style of diamond while updating it to 6.5.
