HELLO ALL!
Seems there have been a few good folks over at PPCGeeks working on a HardSPL specifically for the CDMA version of the Diamond!
This is great news for us Telus Diamond owners!
Head on over and check it out!
LINK TO PPCGeeks HERE
This once again raises the question of creating a subforum for CDMA Diamonds! (MODs?)
Good Luck all!

Will there be such a thing as Harrier Support Forum here. In Canada Telus and various others are now selling this device on CDMA network, not perfect but nonetheless it is here. Officially known as Audiovox 6600 here in Canada. http://www.telusmobility.com/ab/pcs/handset_audiovox_ppc6600.shtml
Thanks
The harrier is a blueangel and thus we have a forum for it.
But is Blue Angel not a GSM device and the other a CDMA device. So none of the upgrades we talk about would actually work?
The radio is different, the Ce rom could be different, i dont know.
The issue is the forum, this is what you asked about.
do a search for harrier in the BA section, check wiki we have the roms and a ext rom unlocktool which works for that device.
will do thanks a lot.
Currently I use a Titan on the Telus network. With their announcement of the Diamond release which I am going to get, I am wondering if, like the Titan custom Roms, will I need to wait for a Telus carrier cab/oem? Or will the the great developers on these forums have enough information from previous Telus cab/oems?
My worry is that GPS will be locked out again. After reading most of the threads in development the common thread between them all is GSM. Will I be able to use current unlockers and such for the CDMA device? Is there hope?
Yes you can!!!
I just got my hands on a HTC Diamond from carrier Claro here in Puerto Rico its GSM, I want to know whats your choice as to the roms for this device. I myself am using the Copper 6.5 rom on my TP. Thanxs in advance...

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm just reading about this custom ROM stuff.
Now I don't have a smartphone yet and I have verizion. I'm really considering getting an HTC Touch Diamond for $99.99, but if I got it, could I use any of the awesome ROMs on here?
I was reading something about GSM and CDMA differences and got rather confused.
Thanks guys.

Hiya Beaver,
Most the Diamond roms I have seen on here are for the GSM model which is the one useful in many parts of the world (including the U.S. with carriers like AT&T and T-mobile). Verizon and Spring use CDMA which is a different type of radio/signal and is not compatible with GSM. And so GSM and CDMA phones have different types of radios and thus require different software to run them. On some other types of phones such as the AT&T Fuze have both CDMA and GSM counterparts and I have seen software on here for both versions. I'm not sure about the Diamond though.
Maybe helpful,
d.

Hiya Beaver,
Here's a link to the forum with stuff for the CDMA version of the Diamond, but it doesn't look like there's much there. The beauty of GSM is that lots of developers around the world contribute to the development of the software since the GSM version of the phone is pretty wide-spread (though ironically I still haven't found a stable version of WM 6.5 that I really like).

I found the website, there is another site that offers quite a bit of option for CDMA ROMS though it still doesn't come very close to what's offer here in the GSM site.
Here's the CDMA diamond site I'm talking about in case anyone here has a cdma dimaond.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=66
It has far more option than the CDMA forums here.
Hey folks,
I still stick with my TyTn II but it’s time for a new deveice I think the Rhodium is a good upgrade but all these different models are confusing me:
Rhodium 100
Rhodium 300
Rhodium W (which has CDMA is that right?)
...
I ve been looking around and I have no idea which carrier provides which model. Also I want to know what is the difference between all these models.
For example the T-Mobile version looks very different to my but maybe the hardware specifications are the same?
Read this:

Okay thanks this might be helpful aswell http://www.everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=1941
But what is the differnece between both CPUs? What carrier has those CDMA versions cause i assume that they don't work in Germany!
