Hi.
I have read on the posts that the BlackBerry client is included in the 1.72.181 release of the XDAII.
I found hobbits extended rom pack for 181 but couldnt find a blackberry cabs in it.. No obvious content in the other cabs either.
So my question: Does anyone have the Blackberry client for PocketPC? Anyone tried it in BlueAngel? It was supposed to be included when BlueAngel was announced....
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Does anybody know how to run Opera on XDA machines like I-Mate PDA2K?
Thank you in advance for any information.
Eugene.
It's not made for PPC, only SmartPhones
Perhaps you can try Minimo: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/dougt/archives/008595.html

 No ****

And please provide the cab file you used to install.
This should in no way be possible as SmartPhone and PocketPc are two wery different platforms.
Mninimo don't run, searching for other solution...
Unfortunately, Mininmo doesn't run on PDA2K. Does anybody here don't interesting in working Opera on our devices?
opera for smartphone works on my xda2 with wm5.0 due to the fact that ms is joining requirements of wm for smartphones and wm for ppc's (in order to express it in very simple words). under wm5.0 smartphone and ppc edition all programs should work on both platforms. usually the installer of a program detects the os where it is installed and obviously the smartphone installer accepts wm5.0

ps: btw, it does not only accept the installation, it even works perfectly (of course without touch screen support, because smartphones do not have one).
You're right. It doesn't work...
Hmmm....doesnt Nokia9500 run Opera?
Hi
Based on what I read here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2007/04/17/why-did-we-remove-bluetooth-dun.aspx
It should be possible to have DUN available on a WM6 device. Has someone made a rom image with DUN services being available?
I can't use my jasjam with my TomTom Go anymore (same problem with AKU 3.3 ROM)
Thanks
JY
Bluetooth DUN
Does anyone know if this is as simple as a CAB install to enable something?
I would REALLY like to get this back up and running on my WM6.
Cheers,
Andy
I desperately need the DUN profile back too. Do any of the experts here have a solution??
Thanks guys!
One more vote here to get DUN back. Although, perhaps the profile does not exist for WM6 as M$ believes that PAN replaces the need for it. Personally, I still need DUN for some applications I use.
hi, i´ve installed Decuma Japanese 2.1 on my Hermes, but on WM6 doesn´t write anymore (with WM5 was ok)... can anybody help me? (new version for wm6, patch or so) the handwriting recognition is ok, but the characters are not being transferred to the text (Kana or Romaji)
thank you
Confirm that. NOT worked for me with any lang.
Decuma products on WM6
Decuma products are only compatible with a list of devices that is available on BitWay and Handango. Decuma Japanese for WM2003SE and WM5, for example, purchased through the HP iPAQ Starter Pack Volume 4 is only compatible with HP iPAQ rx1950, hx2190, hx2490, hx2790, hx2110, hx2410 and hx2750 Pocket PC. There are currently no plans to extend our consumer products to the WM6 platform. If we do, a new version of the product will be made available.
Please uninstall Decuma from your WM6 device. If uninstall fails, you may need to do a factory reset on your device. Please contact your retailer or manufacturer for instructions.
Best regards,
Myron
Decuma support
Decuma works fine with my Qteq 9090 and on my TyTn with Wm5 with Swedsh lang. Working not on my TyTn with WM6
Hello all, I'm new here.
Sorry for my English, it's not my native language...
I hope, also, it's the right section of the forum.
I searched this forum for some information if there is any possibility to
make my FujitsuSiemens PocketLoox N560 PocketPC to work in WPA2/AES
wireless networks.
I didn't find any clear, usable, information, even at least if it is or it is not
possible. It might be possible I didn't searched enough?
All the wireless networks I'm working with have this set-up (WPA2/AES)
and this facility would transform for me the PDA from a funny toy to
a really useful tool.
The three N560s we are using are running the original WM5 operating system.
If there is a solution to make those PDAs to work this way (wireless
WPA2/AES), I'd like to know. Also, I'd like to know if it's really impossible
(hardware reasons, etc.).
If there is a solution and I have to, I'll upgrade them to WM6.x, but I'd
prefer not to (for various reasons, not to be discussed now).
Thank you in advance for any answer!

Did you solve your problem? If not, try installing Odyssey Access Client for Windows Mobile (there is an 30day evaluation version on the web) - I think this is the only way. This software gives the possibility to check the AES option no matter what version of WM are you on. As far as I am informed FS LOOX N560 doesn't support AES, it's TKIP only... It is the kind of hardware issue rather than software one. Tell me if that helped.
WPA2 is not supported on WM6 either.
I and many others are using Newplow's WM6.0. Google for his site in Russia. Use the language translation in Google to get your own language. He is working on WM6.1 but neither upgrade supports WPA2.
And do remember the WM6 upgrades are done by enthusiasts not the original manufacturer so if you ask nicely they might include it in a future release, but there is not gurantee they will respond to your request.

Hi there,
As I'm running Newplow's latest WM6.1 on my RPDA N560, which is technically a Loox N560, I can confirm that WPA2 is possible with the Loox N560 and the above mentioned ROM.
Best regards
