His beta is a bit slow and old compared to the newer work by CRC and abusalza..

Well if you are new to this i recmmend you go slowly...
You can star by flashing one of the best ROMs i've ever found... It's a WM 1.0 ROM from the late eghties...
Start with this one and the keep flasig your device with different ROMs untill you reach the laters ROMs with the laters WM6.1 Cores... 20275 for instance.
You will have to flash something like 500 ROMs or more...
Good luck and le tthe flashing begin.
Before you flash read the Wiki form top to bottom, before you trash your device.
That question you just posted is similar to finishing high school, adressing a college teacher and asking him which ater shuold you get so you can be a boss...

Oh, man, that hurts on me...
Folks...grow up! I remember just a few short months ago that this place didn't have this type of arguing and now it is starting to resemble another very popular forum...and the worst aspects of it.
It may not be SPAM per se, but doesn't have much value until there's a ROM available. This whole thread should be deleted until there's actually something to write about. Until I can load it on my phone, it's just speculation.

Me too. I went through 3 different Kaiser ROM's today and 2 Hermes yesterday.
But, that's what I do. I spend time doing my own research as I know what I and my clients want. Just because you or someone else likes the speed, etc of a new build, not good enough for me.

I am looking for a clock for the today screen similar to the HTC Home or HTC Plus v2 but without the message counter and program switcher. I use some SPB apps that do all that stuff I just want a big clock like the S2U2 to help fill out some of the space on my today screen.

above all, the FAQs are already available on the Hermes wiki pages what a loss of space you are right ai6908, some are too lazy to read... this is a known issue in personal character (not on the Hermes) when some prefer to talk than to listen/read
After de Magician, Wizzard, Universal and Trinity, now i bougth a Hermes. When i was looking for a great rom i view that is no based roms. There are a kind of clean roms, but i think its nice to have a thread always with the last clean release of wm6.1. I tested several roms... One is fast, other dont have the windows classic games... So i prefer a clean rom and install my apps without cooking anything. Thanks for your work, your support!

I read the stickes dude... The only thing i found was the thing before cooked and wm6 roms...
put it in through the washing machine a few times you'll have the cleanest roms around geez ...
Try CRC V13 naked bigstorage, its missing things like cam but you get them off Device Update.
And apart from that its as clean as they come.

i agree but the person really needs to ask him/herself what he/she uses the phone for.
I need things to work, like video calling, mms, and exchange sync without any major fuss on setting it up. and I do find CRC and abusalza fit those requirements real nice. hassle free flashing without spending hours on setting up or finding tweaks.

most of the active chefs these days have all flavours for all likes, so if you had bothered going through all the active chefs on this forum, you will find them.
we don't know what you use your phone for, only you know that. And we can't tell you what to use as everyone is different. so get on your horse and start flashing.

Just try to learn to cook. You can cook it naked or with cloths, its up to you. Then you will realize how big of a deal it is to make a perfect ROM. Its fun and you will learn a lot. Start with the threads in my sign.

I am trying to upgrade my t-dash from windows6 to kavana..but i got problem said that files immages currupted error 270 and stuck at 3% and the phone turn off and back on . Can some one tell me what iam missing or doing something wrong ....appreciate for your help.

or you can just app unlock the phone per the instructions and have it actually work..

You the tutorial below that is titled upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1.... and that should help you out man... and as a beginner I recommend using Ricky's rom as it will be easier for you to navigate...

See i'd say different as more people have probs with the 3% issue with Kavana "due to the unlock process and not reading" i think Rickys and the navigation just is really additions oh and the links 4 everything under this text...

Oh ok I see, well I think Rickys is really easy for beginners to use because of all the programs that it offers for the beginners and it seems to be more customizable to me... but that is just my own opinion...
