I've faced wth screen problem before and i just seen a message on the screen Please upgrade your Micro-P rom to the latest this time i had no screen lights at all because my screen connection was lose.... i place it back on position and seems anything ok . So i became interested about it What is the Micro-P rom doing in our Diamond...
In the [sys] \ OEMDrivers \ folder there is a dll called Microp.dll execute the dll is depend on 2 other dll called coredll.dll and mmmap.dll . I had a look inside the microp.dll wth hex editor and find a lot of string related the light sensor , automatic LED controlling

i think this part of the system controlling all the LEDs what the diamond got...
If uu switch to the tricolor screen there a line'll show uu the version of the MicroP rom my is 12

Had contact with HTC Support in Holland and next wednesday they will pick it up and repair it.
I had the same proplem. Change roms, radios.. in service they disassemle and collect it, and it work. They think it loose contact.

I've installed exactly this dialpad a few weeks ago and it seemed to work well

- and still, it's working on my Artemis very well, no issues, a little bit slow imo, but it's working

Weap. By the way works fine for me for about 3 weeks now with B&B v4.3 and Fracoon 's 2.2 rom.
Installed it a couple of minutes ago and it is beautifull !!!
I don't think it is slow (however I am running at 260 Mhz)
1 downside:
you cannot redial the last phone number (which shows in the screen) by pressing the green dial button or the dialbutton on screen

You 're right. Click on "history", and then green button works for me. Redial in 2 moves
I accept that (bug) because it 's beautiful.

Thanks for the cab file. The com manager looks nice. I don't care too much for the krasier style com manager that is on Kin0kin's rom version 1.30b.
The reason for my trying to install this com manager is b/c there are some glitches that i'm experiencing when i have some of my programs installed. My BT is not functioning properly.
I tried to install this cab, after a reset i figured i'd see the new com manger. But when i pressed the com button i simply got the original kraiser com manger that is on the ROM.
Q. Can i manipulate registries etc. to solve that problem?
Q. what can be causing this malfunctioning of BT functionality with this ROM. I have not experienced it with the same programs with other ROM's.

You have to make sure that you stop the CommManager through taskmanager before installing it.

I ended up going to another ROM and it worked perfectly on it. I'm almost positive I made sure CommManager was closed, and even tried installing it after a soft reset. Oh well, no problem anymore, thanks for the help though.
I used the graphics with my Artemis's COMM Manager and the result was great. Mine displays the "off" buttons in red, unlike the one in the picture in the first post...

Known Bug: Autoconfig wont work (will show blank screen) u need to cancel it to proceed. A fix is in this rom but dunno if it is working or not (Thx Cashmore for the fix)

I face a proplem that I have update my rom but during the updating my battary was ampty and the phone turned off. the updating not completed
now my phone just start the updating then hange I try to update through th external memory but same thing happened. ... can you please help me?

Please note that 3G and Video Call are not the same thing...
Spporting 3G doesn't necessarily mean it supports Video Call...

I have been using this since yesterday and it is really fast and very stable so far. I have loaded all my programs and no hard or soft resets.
What is the "EXTROM Version" shown in the screenshots? Never noticed that on a "Device Information" screen before.
How much about Storage and Program Memory?
I ran PhamQuangs Rom for a couple of days when It was first released on pdaviet forum the 21st. Very fast and stable ROM. More responsive than most ROMs. When you don't get a signal after you first flash the ROM, it is because You have to set your GSM band to "auto" manually.
The only problem I ran into, it was totally my fault, was that I let my battery go below 40% and it became un- responsive.. You also have that Blue OEM coloring bleed thru.

Have always liked the speed and responsiveness of PDAVIET roms, and I hope this one is even more then before..... will post when I have tested....
I had hopes to keep my current rom (MRH 8.1) for some time, and I said to myself only yesterday that it is no use to flash a new rom...
Well here I am, waiting for my Hermes to have charged above 50%.....

I am confused. Is it "very unstable" or "never get hardreset"?
They are talking about the Blue OEM overlay. This rom is very stable. non UC..Normal Storage Rom
For some reason when I try to flash it closes my activesync connection and puts my phone in sleep mode shortly after the progress bar shows up in the pc app. I have never had this happen before with other ROMS. Any ideas?
All precautions such as battery and spl were taken. This is about the 6th time I have flashed my ROM but the first time this has happened. I restarted my pc and did a HardReset on my hermes.
*** UPDATE: I used the ROM Update Utility from a different ROM and it worked like a charm.
Mine did the same thing. I started out with my 8525 in bootloader mode and it worked fine.
I had the same business happen with my attempt to flash. I got around it by forcing bootloader mode (pwr, ok, reset)
is There a RealVGA development anywhare for WM6.5.1 or later ??
with multiple cooked Roms with WM6.5.1 and 6.5.3 (one with larger buttons on lower part of the screen, etc) realVGA no longer work correctly as softbuttons just won display in lower part of the screen.
so is there a dedicated thread on that programm at all or anyone know how to adapt it or something ?

It can be a missing file in theme. Just try to choose some another theme start->settings->home
or your display is not supported but i thing that this is not true

its not just me, others tryd RealVGA on this ROM bot its the ONLY 6.5.3 ROM for TREO PRO at the moment there us not much development for it
and yes it maybe theme related but even if so it related to all 6.5.3 themes not just MS default...
i think dpi packs have to be reworked by whoever made it or know how it made ...
I think it may just be a case of repackaging the resources from the later WM6.5.1 builds. What build are you running? I'll see what I can do!

well at the moment im back to WM6.5.0
but i was trying to get it to work on WM6.5.X 28008 and 28014 Builds i think that's WM6.5.3 i and its the new large buttons that crate the problem

I have a HTC Shift with WM6.5.5 ROM and have the same problem with all WM6.5.x ROMs. RealVGA just doesnt work with the buttons on the bottom of the screen. A fix for this would be great.

For WM 6.5 devices you just need to run the cab file for WM6.5 now. Sorry for the confusion.
I installed Sdkcerts, MvRTrueVGAx51v_v1.5 and RealVGA96DPI-ResourcesFor6.5 (in that order). Everything works great now with 96dpi WM6.5.5 ROM.
