OK for all those who wants to cook there are my WWE releases on RAPID or 4shared
for language change you have to get working XIP and OEM then the best way to do it is to dump some official wm6.1 from KAISER or WIZZARD or ...... and port the SYS to you kitchen (without .VM,WINCENLS_WWE,SHELL/shellres.dll,shell32.exe) then you have to get all the mui from OEM and replace them (create new oem_lang_0xxx u have to compare) compare all the rgu files and change all the language differencies. in xip boot rgu change the "syslang" and "curlang" . then check u new initflashfiles.dat for links u dont want . then cook and try . FOR easy learn i have released SYS OEM from different languages for u to check what is different its the original 804 from it 409 - than ported 405 kaiser .

Also MP4 file association is not set to the tcmp core player by defauly.. or try including the mp4 plugins for the media player..

The Misc section at the bottom of the XML for advanced config seems to be missing. Abusalza's xml contains the .net tweak for 3.5
The MP4 wouldn't open out of file explorer, but when opening tcmp and browsed to it, loaded fine then.
Its good and fast, I'll be sticking with this on one of my Hermes for a while.
Dont suppose you have the .cab file for o2 plus and calendar or know where i can get it please?

Dear Anryl,
I did try your ROM. Actually i believe it is quite peachy for a first ROM!
Nevertheless, if i were you i would try to give it a different look... Although it is based on PDA Corner Pro it has graphics and global presentation that reminds me of the 80's and PSION... As someone mentioned beforet is has a very uncoventional presentation...
Apart form that i thin it's quite good. Snappy, slick... Quite Good.

2. Plug usb wall charger to your Zinc
3. Push/Hold ur Right arrow Dpad button & do Soft Reset
4. Zinc will reboot & will be in 3 color boot screen
5. See progress of updating
6. Zinc will reboot after finished updating

well frankly speaking, my friend mr.cashmore is doing all the xip porting (thx a lot man) .. i am the process of learning the art of xip porting (waiting a tutorial frm him soon)
will gladly share wz u after i get the tutorial, i think he will give me the stuff after he finishes his project of porting both ceos5.2.19199 & 19202
The base is my old Lite rom that i whipped a month back, i have tried it with kaiser rom but always stuck after boot screen with poutlook error ??? i dont think that the sys files have changed that much on all the build
I will try again soon on the kaiser or hermes build soon

the build only ... but i can see that the speed is much more faster than the last build without tweaking or installing netcf 3.5 ... other than that not much of changes ....

hey cruzz.. i have trinity 19209 build xip folder.. can i replace my elfin xip folder with that and cook for elfin? or do i only pick up the coredll.dll folder and replace it? will be running g'reloc on it anyways.. will the build really change or will it only show me a updated number?
rest all .payload and the rgus will be from my xip.. will it work brother?

UC 2.0 Compliancy
After flashing the ROM the device will boot up and do some final install steps followed by a reset.
Before that reset you can add your own personal settings or install cab's that you want to be automatically installed after a hard reset.
To use this feature you need to create this text file to the root of you the Internal Storage:

Is the Surface 6.1.1.16 NLD Rom fully based on the HTC NLD_1.37.404.3
The Bram Surface 6.1.1.15 NLD version had many older versions of HTC programs then in the NLD_1.37.404.3 ROM . Also Opera was an older version.

my recommendation for flashing:
boot into spl (press buttons power + camera + stylus) -> connect to pc -> start ROMUpdateUtility -> follow instructions until flashing starts -> no need to soft or hard reset until screen alignment start (tap the screen to setup...)
this may take a while and screen goes black during upgrading procedure, but it works (did it several times here now to test)

I'm hoping that the Network plugin is fully working as I have had problems with this build, and not seen a version working with this build.
any reason you didn't cook Manilla 2D into the ROM? Judging by the reponse, I reckon you will get many requests for a Manilla 2D version of the ROM. I will post updates...

For me this rom sounds interesting to check out, but im only in to testing if you'll cook M2D into it as if i install it in afterwards, things get slowed down way too much.
So if you decide to cook in M2D, i'll be willing to test out your rom
Hope you get some feedback on how your rom is doing so you can keep making the best rom for us
For now, i'll leave the testing for others who find they dont really use M2D!

actually i do use network plugin and it works fine
M2D: ok, response is overwhelming - i will update this rom today back home for manilla2d version.. i do have working packages, but i haven't yet decided which one is best.. i have about 5 oem packs to cook.. but i guess i will just use the one which fits best in color

I'm glad it works fine for you! My testing with your ROM shows the same behaviour as others: In File Explorer (fexplore.exe in the /Windows folder of your ROM). the selection top right allows selecting My Device or Storage Card, but not /Network as file system root.
It works for accessing network shares, but I need to build my Windows media Library from my network share - and this ROM will not allow it!!!

Really don't know whether or not it's the Windows Version, the Windows Media Player Version... what'doing this... but I had it working with 017TNYSTD - CE OS 5.2.20273 (Build 20273.1.3.3) WWE I believe. Also tried different versions of the HTC NEtwork plugin - they all do the same really!
It may be that MS has messed it up. Or maybe a missing reg key (although that would be in the cab). Anyway, thank you for your help.

yes i did already notice the ringtone problem (my employees couldn't reach me at lunch ) ... already had this in prev build, just the files are missing
i will also look for the context menu thing..
i did publish this rom, because 'more eyes see more'
thanks for testing my rom ... as i wrote in my intro, it's a preview and it was never intent to be bugfree
i'm already rebuilding and i'm sure we will manage this

Thank you! I think that there are plenty of Manila roms going around. There are some people that are interested in "lean and mean" without the fluf. I am someone that needs as much horsepower, speed and free ram as possible, while retaing the necessary apps like office, MMS, IE etc. I am only a user and you are the boss so I can only suggest Currently all the new build roms have manila, why not go back to basics with a new build.

This rom is not perfect, since I havent use all the functions yet. If there is a bug etc do put it in the thread BUT NO PROMISES that I can fix it.

1. Install sdkcert
2. Install WhiteBatt.cab
3. Soft Reset
4. Disable "Display the clock on title bar ..." @ Setting--> Clock & Alarms--> More tab
How to Flash
HOW TO FLASH
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Copy MarsII_G4.ABI file to ur MiniSD card (card must be less than 4G)
2. Plug usb wall charger to your Zinc
3. Push & Hold ur Right arrow Dpad button & do Soft Reset
4. Zinc will reboot & will be in 3 color boot screen
5. See progress of updating
6. Zinc will reboot after finished updating

09/07/14 - 23004 got it to boot but problems with camera & storage card
09/07/08 - All other roms failed to boot
09/06/22 - Will start work on doing 21815 soon
09/06/17 - 21812 Light Rom, include NETCF 3.7 but Sliding keyboard still doesnt work, finger keyboard also doesnt work
09/06/15 - 21812 Rom is coming??? See Preview on Post #5
09/06/14 - Successfully ported new XIP 21812 to the 21806 SYS also included the themes but still no office
09/06/13 - A 21806 Full rom will be uploaded soon ... contains all the stuffs like games, office, widgets etc (still figuring out why cant boot)

and where to get task manager like on htc(i saw it on chineese wm 6.5 21725)?

what do u mean by the task manager like HTC?
is it like below? Usually it doesnt work on devices that is not HTC
BTW how is the feel of the new rom?

a small "bug" : there's no battery level's indicator at the upright screen.
I wish you make a advance version of titanium today which have weather widget.

i think you can get it at the titanium hex thread which have those hexed inside already
as for the batt level i think have to look into it soon (For this time i have put the link in Other Links at 1st page)
about htc task manager-i saw it when tried chineese rom 21725 and there was that task manager)
about Rom-dissapointing that wm6.5 eats more from my device-only 25mb free(if i close titanium),but its not your false)
Rom is great,also phone skin is still like wm5) would be great to see new style(something black)
I cant change default keyboard.
Other bugs i havent seen)

It's great to have you back. Will give it a go soon since I'm kinda busy.
Just wonder is it an official yet? About the previous 6.5 ROM, the PIE seems to be the same as WM6.1, what about this ROM?
BTW, which version will you suggest us to use, 21728 or 21806? I noticed that the 21806 have a bigger memory (19.31 MB, vs 13.46MB of 21728), does it mean it's better?

no still not an official rom ... but close to be i think.
PIE is a lill bit diff from what i saw
The version of rom is up to u actually the higher build is the newest

on your 19900 i had 28mb free,on wm 6.5 only 24 without titanium
Maybe you could help me to change phone skin in oem?
I cannot activate any keyboard except default
