I've got a Tytn Smartphone. Yesterday I installed a sip-client which is discriped here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317072
I set up the settings of the Internetphone that it should be only active when there is no mobile service available.
Unfortunately I've got noe a problem: When someone calls me and the smartphone is in standby the mobile switches on but there is no sign of a incomming call. Even when the caller finish calling there is no sign of a missed call.
I've tried it with every mode but it only works normally (but not in every case) when my WLAN is off and there is no chance to connect to my SIP server.
I only want to use the sip-client for incomming calls so it has to be online in case someone is calling. Another question: Is WLAN online even when the device is in standby? I've set it up like that but when I switch the device on the sign of "getting WLAN connected" appears.
I would be very happy for fast help because I miss a lot of calls and don't even notice that!

PS Is it normal that set up a call is getting very slow when the SIP client ist conneted?

what WM6 are you using? Is it the official ROM? There is always an option of a cooked ROM, and I noticed I am able to do it with this instruction fine. Slow on start up but when running it is OK. Hope this helps.

I've sing an offical WM6 of my phone provider (CE OS 5.2.1238 Build 17745.0.2.3). Unfortunately I don't know which information you like to know.
I've deinstalled my software and installed the software you suggested. Unfortunately this software doen't connect to my SIP server, so I can't use it.
Are there other software modules I could test?
I thought this is a software module of microsoft which is hidden on the tytn devices?

my 620 is a bt anywere phone ,it used to be wm6 so i updated it to kavanas 6.1 now its a great phone the only thing i miss are the wi fi internet calls that come with the bt software .i have been told on a bt forum that the only way to use this facility is to revert back to wm 6 ,surely with all the knoledge of the mods and members of this forum you can prove them wrong

I have installed Skype 2.5 for WM on original Artemis O2 XDA.
Skype connects wia wifi, but there is only one way audio. My corespondent can excellent hear me, but I can't hear him, either nothing at all, or only very fragmented audio.
Tested with few different corespondents, and via few wifi hotspots, so problem must be in my Aremis Skype settings.
Fring works ok (audio both ways), so my Artemis hardware seems to be ok.
Anyone having similar problem ? Any hint ? Please help.

I have EXACTLY the same problem as you do. Although i have a different rom version then the original one that comes with O2 xda. I also have skype 2.5, and people can hear me perfectly , but i cant listen to people!

Not yet. And I don't know if this is a hardware or software problem.
Do you think upgrade to WM 6.1 would help ?

Has anyone resolved how to make work skype on artemis. I can't even pass a echo test? Help please!

If YES, than this is a software problem, and perhaps can be resolved with software upgrade.
If NO, than this is a hardware problem, and cannot be resolved.

I have a big problem...
I am the owner of a HTC HD2 with a custom ROM (that doesn't matter, it concerns all ROM's incl. stock).
When I have my "Nokia BH-101" (BT-Headset) connected and someone calls me, then I hear the standard nokia ringtone in my headset and another one (self selected) from the phone.
If I answer the call then the ringtone in the headset plays until it is finished and then I can hear the other one. If I answer the call nearly the end of the ringtone in the headset, then I can hear the other one immediately.
Some month ago I've found a tool to "replace" parts of the MS BT Stack in Windows Mobile and I could hear the same ringtone in the headset as on the phone and I have no delay when I answer calls.
Unfortunately I've lost this nice tool and I don't know the name.
I've also tried to find it in Google with no results...
I hope somebody can help me...

Yes that is the software I was searching for. But I don't know if this program solve my problem. I have a HD2 (Leo) and the phone which need the software is a Touch HD (Blackstone). My father has the Touch HD and he is in france but when he comes back to germany I will try it immediately

hi guys
using my skoda octavia radio carkit .. the car radio make access to the my phone book and the hands-free is working fine.
but although other mobiles can show also sms in my car radio screan, my pro 2 dose not do that !!!!
is this cause the sms's r not in the SIM so the SIM acsess profile (SAP) is not helping ??
at least i want when i got sms while driving and the hands free activated , any notification or sound occure to know that i recived sms
can this be possible ??
