How fully remove youtube from the rom? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development

Anybody knows?
Found just old advice - don't work for 1.93.

I guess that'd be
1: delete youtube (including langs) in OEM
2: delete any youtube links from Operator provs (manila 105)
3: check registry for youtube-dead keys and delete those.

WinCE CAB manager
Hi,
yes ive been playing around with wince cab manager all week.. i did manage to understand something in it but i need some explanation on things like:
1. CM_Networks - what is this use for
2. CM_ProxyEntries - when i see on this characteristic, i saw different input of "characteristic type" like for e.g. for VODA Ita is "HTTP-{A8BCF750-A9BC-4cc2-B10B-22D89F4C9D5C}" while for telstra i found that it has 2 types, "null-corp-{39C79ED0-5C5E-4745-B4FA-71C28CB50ED2}" and "HTTP-{18AD9FBD-F716-ACB6-FD8A-1965DB95B814}" and for O2 PAYG "WAP-{18AD9FBD-F716-ACB6-FD8A-1965DB95B814}". also i need to understand what is "SrcId" and "DestId" and what should i put in it..
so basicly this thing makes me confused and don't know which one to follow. I'll guess someone has to post a thread of "How-To" steps to create Operator CAB files and explain in a bit details about the "numbered things" like {A8BCF750-A9BC-4cc2-B10B-22D89F4C9D5C} , {18AD9FBD-F716-ACB6-FD8A-1965DB95B814} , {7022E968-5A97-4051-BC1C-C578E2FBA5D9}, {ADB0B001-10B5-3F39-27C6-9742E785FCD4} etc.
Thanks for those who reply and thanks in advance for those who's willing to help newbie like me..

thanks for replying, i saw this thread and read all posts but nothing useful for my condition.
after updating i unhided the ext.rom then opened and empty
I first used:
Olipro :> Mount ExtROM for Writing without SuperCID
Copied all the contents of the ExtRom to my Desktop,
deleted cabs I didn't want
Then I used:
HTC Extended ROM Image Editor, or Using Extended ROM without CID Unlock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=303049
Added the Cabs I wanted.
Then used Duttys Tool to convert to NBH
then Flashed. (ExtRom Only)

Ummm, thanks a lot!! It works!! I had this one already in version 0.9.0.5
which seems more up to date for me, but with this one you could not open
the extended rom, but only create a new one
So with this version 0.9.0.1 opening and extracting worked like a charm...
Many thanks again

I never did say thanx for the link. So: Thanx for the link!

[X1/X2] Editing camera interface (v1.2, PC)

Blob Editor for PC
Version: 1.2
I've made a little tool that helps to edit camera's interface.
Supports both X1 and X2.
As you know, interface is packed into images.blob. Now you can replace any image there.
Also you can edit sounds.blob with it
Version history:
v1.2:
-fixed sounds replacing bug
v1.1:
-added command line support. Now you can assign it to *.blob files.
-F1 and F2 now replace or extract current file
-minor interface fixes
v1.0: initial release
Mini-Guide:
1) Get you images.blob or sounds.blob file from \Program Files\XperiaCamera\Resources
2) Open it in BlobEditor
3) Find any images you want to replace and press "Replace". It is better to extract all files (they will have internal hex-identifiers, not just an order)
4) Save. Move to \Program Files\XperiaCamera\Resources. Enjoy!
Screenshot:
Attachments:
BlobEdit - editing tool.
ExampleUI - little changed X1's UI. Changed arrows in options and "play" image in gallery.
images_x2 - may be someone wants to "port" X2's interface to X1? You are welcomed!
sounds_x2 - sounds from X2
Maybe write a mini-guide on how to replace the files? I thought it was a .cab app for xperia and all the work was done on the phone.. But I dont know where the .blob files are located in the phone memory in order to replace them :/ Any help appreciated ^^
Hi
If I'm not wrong, you're "ultrashot" from "mobilefree"?!
You & your friends converted my K750 to nearly a smartphone.
Glad to see you here!
@ all: ultrashot is a master in developing.
Thank you for all your works.hope to learn a lot of things from you.
I tried the editor and it works for me.
If you add "Drag & Drop" feature it's better I think.
thanks
@ chichoko:
It's a computer Program.
By default the files are here in X1:
/Program Files/XperiaCamera/Resources/
PS:
could you share X2 Camera Sounds too?!

Ok, shared. They seem to be the same as X1's (only one empty sound added)
Thank you very much.
I'm sure you will bring new eXPERIence to XPERIA
I hope learn many things from you.

i think it means "ORIGINAL POSTER"
rotastrain is right. Quoted from Wikipedia:
"OP, short for original post or original poster. Used on online message boards and forums to denote the first post (or posting) on a topic often containing the original question or topic of discussion."
Appreciated for the mini-guide! Will give it a shot later on when I get home.. Cheers!

It is not harder than MS notepad. You can extract all files, redraw them as you want and then replace all needed files.
So Great
Thankx

Well.. how do I make an audio file a *.bin file, so that I can select it with the application? Just renaming the *.wav to *.bin does give an error..
Other than that: Great, I've always wanted to get rid of some the camera sounds..
dsip, thanks, fixed. Check first post.
Oh, it wasn't actually me. Thanks for fixing it, works perfectly now.
I might very well imagine it, but using your sound.blob with the extra "slot" for Sound "D" felt like it made the menu of the camera somwhat slower. I haven't tested it or anything, and I just replaced the sounds in the old sounds.blob without a "D" in it. (Using an X1 that is, obviously.)
