Would it be safe to install this on a Bell Mobility HTC Touch phone? Also, what about the radio as well? I have 3.37.15 right now so if I upgrade it to the 3.42.30, will it cause any problems?

Well...
#1 it is safe but it has a couple of Sprint Programs in it....sorry, once I get a final I'll make all carriers. Just don't run the PSST.exe that's included in the ROM, you will have to get the one from Bell
#2 It doesn't matter.....it will work fine either way, but to not cause problems I would say upgrade to 3.42.30
(I would say use it with 3.37.15 first and if it doesn't work, try 3.42.30)
Thanks. I'll wait for the final then. I really do want to try your ROM out but I think it will be better to wait for the carrier specific rom. Hope its not too far away

Ok the Sprint Final isn't really the final there was some major screw up in the kitchen but I'm fixing them, there should be a Final #2 soon and it will be fixed completly

Ok no problem I'll be waiting
goes into standby
updated to this rom , is very good , except after about 1 min it goes into standby , i cant get or recieve calls , when i power it back on i have no signal for about 30 secs , loaded this rom 2 times and still does the same , ive turned of all the power settings and the settings in s2u2 so it shouldnt go into standby , any help appreciated....

No idea...but here try my new rom
tried to download the new rom you posted but i think the link is broken , will not download , oh forgot to say last post about home customiser , when trying to access it , it gives an error and doesnt load up , looking forward to trying the new rom though
I tried the "Sprint Final" and the camera button didn't work - It did not show up in the "Buttons" section in Control Panel, and it did not launch the camera. Downloading #5 right now, and I'll see if it works there. Thanks!
@weescotsman: Use an FTP client and browse to it. You can download it that way.

Yea I have to fix it.....there's alot of problems in the final that occured due to thew kitchen screwing up #5 is working really good for me besides the contacts side of the cube

You cant stop cooking because there is an official version out lol, thats when the roms really start to shine as the bugs are (hopefully) fixed and we can perfect them.

BT HID is the same as prev roms.
only MSN is newer but i still dont trust the build in terms of stability
build 1400 is still the most stable imho (and a cab is avail)

you can find alot of great skins for Wisbar at www.lakeridgesoftware.com
the HTC touch stuff is just ugly in my opinion, the clock is big and intrusive the weather tab is ugly and only displays 1 day.. etc. etc.

Well, this ROM is nice! It has just about everything I had just installed after I updated to the AT&T ROM. Heck, its even Black!!
One thing, that new ComMgr with the Internet Sharing switched out with the G Network disable would be nicer - IMO. I find going edge and saving power much more useful than the internet sharing button.
Oh - that time update, its the BOMB!
Hmm... I can not seem to disable receive all incoming beams. While I can uncheck it, it just comes right back when I go back into it.
Also, the Hold the ComMgr Button does not put it into vibrate - however I just installed that cab that is floating around that enables it back...

If you put it near another IR device, does it detect it?
I didn't set the registry bit to disable receive, so it is being on is expected. If beam is on all the time - that's not good.
Please post the comm manager vibe cab, and I'll add it into the base kitchen.

Does that affect anything - other than the display? I've been getting 3G just fine. I actually didn't care for the extra verbage (UMTS) mainly 'cause I didn't know what it meant
No, nothing to do with performance, just cosmetic, but I was not sure I was connecting to hspa because with all the other roms, I would see 3G and on my phone dialer it would say UMTS AT&T. I first thought it was a performance issue because when I checked my speed with dslreports, it was running around 500 and with other roms I was getting 900. I guess you could change that to say Pandora AT&T

1-calc is the lite free version anyone can download.
PIM Backup is actually 2.4. I'll fix the first post.

MY ROM is what I'm calling it. Not in the sense that I did anything to it but that I use it.
does your rom handle the numeric keys while in a call correctly?
i.e. when pressing "Y" while in a call a "Y" should appear in the application and not "1".

It's a reg entry, so you could pop your own name if you wanted or simply remove theirs. This will be helpful to those who don't want "Chef Lite 2.0 Final" or something as their ROM version. Trashcan's offering will mean you don't have to do that for yourself.

touchflo can be disabled/enabled with Schap's touchflo tool.

This is to micmic the Kaiser/Touch. HTC Home and the Quick Launch links can be disabled via "Today" settings.

How is the 6.1 memory leak problem on this one? That has been the major problem with all the WM 6.1 roms I've tried so far. Runing Oxios close apps once an hour usually claims back a meg or so of RAM, even when I haven't even touched the phone.

Comm manager button vibe is removed because I am trying to make it as close to OEM as possible.
Thanks for this ROM trashcan. Seems fast and does not have too many unneccesary programs. I have one request to make please. Can the E (GPRS) automatically turn off after it checks mail, etc. and starts up again when it needs to? I have tried other ROMs where this is builtin.

however wm6.5, in my opinion, uses up a lot of battery.
I keep having to recharge my device, so I thought, why not create a ROM with WM6.1 with several HTC stuff to make it more finger-friendly for easier operation?

seems kinda cool but:
-as you mentioned SDAutorun crashes
-there's no bluetooth in wireless manager, I have to go through START->SETTINGS->CONNECTIONS->BT and only then if I turn it on it is present in wireless manager.
-more free ram after installing the .cab file from the "KiSS20 improvement thread "
-I like the changes you made. so cheers and keep up the good work!

no...only when i use it (sms,answering phone,browsing-with opera 9.5) => more than 3 - 4 mnt...
and it getting hotter when i played with the themes (manila2d balckberry) especially the weather and music player...

I think the programs you're running are using a lot of CPU, which results in the phone getting hotter (+ the battery running out faster).
Mine doesn't quite heat up that badly.

i try it....but frankly speaking the manila2d isnt good choice...better to install it by my self rather than built in in your room...so i downgrade it again to spooky rooms...

1.the weather setting can't be setting,it appears and lost.
2.i install the m2dc (for customization) and instal themes...but it become more buggy,the sms and email can't be touch anymore

With the help of Bepe's old Hermes kitchen and tools from Tadzio and others, I've put together this rather forgettable, yet stable ROM. It's simply a direct port of the TyTN II 19212 6.1 Build which was last build for that model. It does not have Touchflo, but it has all other components and updated icons that don't look like WM2003. It is basically a "flash-and-forget" ROM for those who want a nearly official 6.1 build, yet don't care for all of the "look-at-me" bling and bleeding edge on some of the other devices. It is set up for an AT&T Keyboard, and does not have the 3g dialer. I have a version with the 3G dialer that is also set up for the HTC keyboard, but it's not ready for prime time, and no, I don't have a timeline for its release. I will not include any programs that are not OEM in the RC build or the final build so don't ask. You may dump the ROM and use any part of it at your discretion. Just give props where they're due.
Note: I put this together just like the factory ROM so all of the programs are in the OEMAPPS folder when you dump it. I'm working on making all of the packages come out in the SYS and OEM directories, but I haven't played with the new visual kitchen by Ervius just yet.

-Voice Command (from AT&T Tilt official ROM; I like it, therefore its there)

-New, official WM6 or 6.1 icons for Control Panel items
-Lockstream DRM functional
-Windows Live and OneNote removed
-Connection Setup runs automatically after first reboot
-Mail setup runs automatically after first reboot
Possible issue:
-Someone please check SMS capability and functionality (I currently have it disabled on my account)
There may be other issues with this ROM, so please report them here only. I will fastidiously prune the thread of non-constructive comments and requests such as "Please include (name third-party program) or "How do I flash a ROM?" and "Please make me a splash screen."

Really there's no reason to update unless you like your numbers to match. I'm anal like that, so I updated. It's still snappy, stable and looks OEM. Perfect for those of us not on the bleeding edge who also use our devices heavily.

Same as stock ROM. No bigstorage. RAM settles in around 25 MB free on startup and ROM is around 39MB.

Wonderful ROM mate!! I have tried almost each & every Hermes ROM available on the internet till now. But, I'm now settled on your make. It's very stable.
Though, I don't give a damn to the RAM usage.

Hello, I installed this ROM to my hermes, it all works great but my bars with Calendar, Contacts and Start didn't change color... Thoes are still green and the rest of rom is gray and good looking.
Did I do something wrong, or should I just flash again?

Keyboard bug
Hi,
First of all, thanks for this perfect rom, I was looking for this simple Kaiser Stock ROM since months and months.. Thanks again.
However I've noticed that the keyboard mapping of this rom is for Kaiser. You've the issue with the caracters @, !, ;, etc...
is it possible to fix it with a reg update, or with a new rom?
also, is it possible to add 3G video call?

Is a radio included with this ROM? The file looks to be much smaller than what I have flashed for the stock AT&T or TyTN (Official HTC release).
