Hi all,
I tried flashing ROM some time, but each time didn't get further than the grey screen with 0%, and end up with "ERROR[294] : INVALID VENDER ID ". I have to remove and reinstall the battery to repair and revert to flashing, but nothing.
HardSpl by Olinex it´s same problem.
Any idea?
For your ref.

Thank a lot!
Install HardSPL developer and try again.
If a rom upgrade stays at 0% this is likely the case when you use the HardSPL wich requires signed roms. Unsigned can be loaded with HardSPL developers edition. Note there is more risk involved and can brick your phone if the ROM is corrupt!

Ok, talk about it here.
It just installed over my Olipro SPL and before I knew it, it said INVALID VENDOR ID.
Now I can't update to WM6 because of my SPL that is CID locked. I am however able to install an original ROM.
Questions (yet to be answered):
1) Is it possible to run SSPL?
2) Are we able to get Hard-SPL on it again.
If not;
3) Are we able to write a new SSPL that can hack this bootloader.
I don't even know whether it is locked, but I assume they did find out about our SSPL and Hard-SPL.
well i just flashed back to pdaviet's rom from the new WM6 (nothing very impressive about it). I just let the updater push sspl to my phone and it worked. haven't tried loading hard-spl yet.
After flashing to an original rom were you then able to update to WM6?
OK, When I got back in to WM5 i was able to get into SSPL again. It shows SPL-1.07.ds
But we will have to make sure we can rewrite it. I can't test it now, have to go to work. I will check it this afternoon.
OK, i think essentially what this new IPL/SPL does it overwrite your existing, restore any CID locks and vendor ID's as well.
If you have a Dopod branded device from the areas this release is for, you'll have no issues.
I was able to easily update using this rom, then run Olipro's hard SPL after to return to 1.20 Hard SPL
if you unpack D810_SEA_WM6_Upgrade_20070709.exe or RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_3.00.707.16_6275_1.46.30.11_108_Ship.exe with winrar you will see a SPL.nhb file that is the one thats being installed just delete it

Tried it with hard-spl and sspl both gave the same result; stuck at 28%
even with "Des SSPL"
Me,too stuck at 28%
if you're putting a new post about getting stuck in the upgrade process (most ppl at 28%), can you please list the steps you took, what bootloader you were using (hard-spl, etc), and what your bootloader shows now...
solved

You need SuperCid and SSPL. sorry my engish.
I had the same issue stuck at 28% - I fell back to the last V5 WWE rom and run SSPL (latest Trin) before update to V6 again.

You need NEW supercid. Я сам с этими проблемами столкнулся. i dont know this for english.
I had OliPro SPl befor upgrading and have upgraded without any problem. Just run RUU and followed instructions.
I have an idea.
1. RUU flashed SPL 3.03 (so at that moment my phone became cid locked)
2.Probably my phone have the same cid as that ANZ rom. That's why i had no problems.
So all your problems are in new SPL and new logic for flashing device.
for flash new rom you should
1. unpack nbh file
2. use nbhgen to create new nbh with OS/RADIO/EXTROM/IPL only. WITHOUT SPL
3. use SSPL or hardSPL for flash this new nbh
4. enjoy
Hello,
I am trying to flash my Diamond radio with RUU and radio 10.0.25.05 and my ROM is bElite v0.95 Premium.
I have flashed my ROM without problem but i can't manage to flash my radio. Eadch time i am launching flash process for radio, the process is beginning but stops at 0% and it fails because of a connection problem (error 262)
Could someone tells me what is the problem and helps me?
I have searche d everywhere in the forum. I ve heard about a unsigned and signed SPL. Maybe it's the same trick about RUU and I haven t got the good one...? Could someone just give me a link to the radio version 10.0.25.05 and to the Diamond Custom RUU I could use?
I am afraid to brick my phone...
Thanks for you answer
Please...
Does someone can help me?
it seems my problem can come from vista drivers. I foud a topic :
http://mahmood1.com/upgrade_pocket_pc_ruu_in_vista.aspx
But even folowing the instructions my update is still locked at 0% and tells me an error 262.
I ve done the whole instructions and installed the old driver but no matters. Somebody knows a way to solve my problem?

Hi Corian,
Thnaks to you I ve finaly flashed my radio!
Your trick was the good one.
Now I am trying to install a new rom casue i dont like the 0.95 bepe elite.
I have exactly the same problem with every flash i am attempting. It stays at 0% and tells me a 262 error.
My SPL is olinex 1.30.
Could you tell me whats the best and if you can give me the link to download the good files.
I d like to install an official HTC Rom and maybe for this i have to change the SPL?
Thanks for your great help.
HI,
Finally I have solved all py problems.
The problem was coming from the hard SPL I had installed.
I ve managed to change the hard spl which wasn t possible. I had to force the mode bootloadrer and then the hard spl was flashed and replaced by 1.40 Olinex unsigned.
Then I flashed rom and radio and splash screen without any problem.
In fact the whole thing about drvier Vista wasn t the problem I think.
Thanks to Corian who helped me to identify the source of the problem : incompatibility with hard spl taking only signed things.
Hi all,
I have 1.40 Olinex HSPL (Official ROM & Radio), this version prevents me from upgrading to the newest Official ROM. It reaches 100% and then shows 270 error and stuck on bootloader no matter what i do, to bring it back again i need to reflash with the old ROM.
I tried to flash the Original SPL (all versions), didn't work (the flash goes well, but the SPL stays 1.40 Olinex), I tried to flash it to a different HSPL (all versions too), still no go...
What should i do ?
Thanks

1.40 Hard spl can not be overwritten as it's protected. You need to search for an app called Jump SPL. This utility will allow you to switch Hard SPL's.

Unpack the attached archive. Connect your device to activesync and run the batch file (diamond-sspl.bat), press enter twice to copy the needed files to your diamond, press enter again and the file jumpspl will start on your device. Press the button on your device, which appears. Now your screen will turn black. Last step is to run your desired SPL. Done
Thanks it worked!

I changed 1.40 olinex hardspl to 1.93 without any problem.
Thanks Man
Hi guys, anywhere is explained how to deal with flashing on a unbranded Phone. I Applied the originial HTC Touch D Rom 2.xx something and it worked fine. But i couldnt get e.g. energy roms to work, so i applied olinex 1.93 and tried again. failed again. So my Question is, can i apply the BsB Q rom without bricking?Do i have to use unsigned / signed olinex or the stock version of the Hard SPL ?
regards
I recommend using the unsigned edition of OliNex Hard-SPL, version 1.40.
After that, you should be able to flash any ROM you want.
Good luck!
Is there any Chance of bricking when using 1.40 unsigned olinex?
I dont have a Problem with hardresets since i dont have important data on my td.
but bricking wouldn be so nice ^^

I tried to update with oficial vodafone UK ROM and showed me that invalid vendor ID
I tested with emergency vodafone ROM from spanish group that has the universal CID 111111 but obviously don't pass from 0%, I think that first checks the correct CID, and it stop if is not correct
And the all HARDSPL is the same error! not pass from 0%
Thanks!!!
Try this

Thanks! But this ROM is just with CID 111111 , and when I try to flash it not pass from 0%

Update stops at 0%
Short answer: You're running the normal HardSPL and you're trying to flash an unsigned (not signed by olinex) ROM. You need the developer version which fixes the 0% issue. Link is at the bottom of this post. Read on to understand the difference between Standard/Developer Edition!
Long answer: First you need to understand that there are two definitions of "signed". HTC and the mobile operators sign ROMs so that the RUU flash utility allows them to be flashed. Usually this is what the word "signed" in the filename means.
Then there is another definition of signed: The developers of HardSPL introduced their own signing process. They want to ensure that people flashing cooked ROMs can rely on a certain quality standard. The normal version of HardSPL will only allow ROMs signed by OliNex to be flashed. If the ROM you are about to flash is signed, it will say so in the thread you got it from. If it isn't signed, you will need the developer version of HardSPL. That one will allow any ROM to be flashed. Get it at the bottom of this posting.
A note on this: The signing process by olinex makes sure that the ROM you're about to flash won't brick your device. It doesn't mean all other ROMs are necessarily evil.
