I want to increase the size of the softkeys at the bottom of my today screen for wm6, probably around double the size to accommodate my fat fingers.
I know how to alter which programs, and also how to get rid of the softkeys all together, but cant work out how to increase the size?
Any help is appreciated
try vjtoggletodayalpha(you can find it in this forum). I think it can do that.
when i use vijay toggle there is dead space under the softkeys IE it doesnt increase the size but "lifts" the softkeys up the today screen
Any way i can increase the size of the touch area to use the dead space, or another alterntive?

On my MI MIX 2 there is a tweak to get NAV-Bar smaller.

Is this possible for OnePlus 5T??
Many Thanks!
Under settings>display, u can lower the display size. This will shrink everything. If the font is too small for u, you can increase just the font size, and nav & status bar will remain the same.
Thank you, but I mean more smaller.
Hello All,
1) Just as the title reads, is there a way to reduce the font size further than the lowest option from Settings > Display > Font size ? I just want maybe a little bit more. (PS: I'm trying to get the same font size and consistency as my OP7 Pro)
2) Is there a way I can change the quick settings icons's to reflect Google stock icons or Oxygen OS icons ?
I think for 1) above, rooting might be a way as i've done this in the past with my HTC phones. I havent had to root my last few phones but on the Note10+ the font seems to be absurdly large and its bothering me. My OCD is not helping either.
Any suggestions on getting around this will be much appreciated !
I like small fonts, and status bar icons, I set the dpi to 549 in developer option

Amazing, thats all i ever needed ! You saved me from rooting
Yes the only way to reduce fonts is to change dpi... but what dpi number is another problem..!
If you use the samsung keyboard, yes, a problem arises, as the keyboard becomes smaller when you increase dpi, I use AI type keyboard, it is not affected by dpi settings, appart from this I have not found any other problem

I noticed that, but it's much better than dealing with abnormally large text and icons everywhere. I'll probably use swift keyboard or keep tuning the dpi until I find a sweet spot.
Is there any way to force apps in the notch area and not have black bar there I tried the full screen mode in settings and even some immersive mode apps and nothing helped.
Also is there a way to make status bar toggles and notifications smaller? I have set smallest display mode but that only affects menus
Thanks
Here's what I did on my P30 Pro to make notifications smaller. It works systemwide too.
Open Developer Options, scroll down to DRAWING section, at the bottom is a setting for Smallest width. Increase whatever the number is by an amount of, say, 10dp at a time until you get your desired size and appearance.
After experimenting with values I found that merely increasing from stock value of 423dp to 430dp made a big (smaller) difference.
I also have the text size set @ normal and display size set @ small.

No problem, I'm glad that's helped with part of your solution.
I much prefer smaller font and icons, to me it makes the UI look more polished.
So I was just setting up my Mi Pad 5 for my daughter using the second space and I wanted to increase the display size. You can find it in the accessibility settings but nothing happens when I increase or decrease the display size, it just stays in "S" small. Anyone noticed that?
