Thats really great news, Dutty is one of the best cooks in XDA, and I am sure, he will make this device dance like anything with his roms.

We have some new great talen here on the Diamond pages, and I guess that Dutty will be happy to meet new (junior) members.
just one advice to all newbies and will-become flashers: READ the DAMN FORUMS and use SEARCH please.
Do not get flamed, or flame others as lately happended on the Kaiser/tilt/tytn II sites.

as my friend said I'm in the diamond project team, I'm using my old rom but so much bugs so far need ironing out, memory leak, need to get new diamond radio, not good for me in the u.k, strange bugs with backlight and some others, but we will work to get best diamond rom, me and Tom

I tried Black Satin and Schaps so far and I sticking with Schaps.
oh man, u gonna get flamed about posting this as every other person who has posted this question did.
imo, try them all and see which you like best.
my personal favorites are schap's and FuN-KeY , right now i am using FuN_KeY v1.5.0 because I like the dailer with the call history on it. and it's a bit faster compared with schap's rom. but a lot of people are waiting for schap's new release

For Gods sake, do like the rest of us. Try each one out until you find one that suits your needs or cook you own.
Do some friggin' research, look at the threads! Read!!!!!

If you don't have time to do the research, you may wish to consider sticking with official operator ROMs
That would have been my suggestion as well...
satin: great but need to reboot some time
vp3g 3.61.0 : great but need to reboot .. really nice application
tnt 2 : the best so far for the speed...etc.. but really unstable .. stuck on bootloader need to hard reset ..
att: not great.. slower and need to reboot ..
for now i am staying with vp3g
I thing the best rom is Black 2.5 bery fast and
Free ram 31MB in my HTC TyTN

also last guy who said/implied that he did not have time and people here do, got scolded so bad... so you might want to rethink that excuse as most people here HAVE real JOBS.

i'll stop with cooking roms becouse i feel really upset about people whining about "why is this not in you rom" "why don't you have the newest version of *** in your rom" "Where are the sreens" "Whats the E.T.A. on this rom".
And some of these guys act like you owe them something, and if you don't expect to their needs they get aggressive.
I have better things to do in my free time then answering stupid questions

This times , some roms of cookers use LZX mode xip for make a big storage or some Clean Rom version having size less than 50 mb. With Rom less than 50 mb we just can Flash it from SD card , can't Flash with RUU.Really inconvenient ?

We really did miss you. I've to admit that I've been trying some roms lately
and right now I am using Yue's rom because it's fast and stable. Also I like the black theme.
I always liked your roms and they were always fast, stable and good looking!!

Hi Tom, really amazing to see a legend again.
In the meanwhile I changed to xperia section but my Artemis is still rocks and is used for navigation, musikbox and so on. Anyway your roms have been the best most stable and a big breakthrue of all rom developing communities - and still the most read threads in some communities - legendary Tom. Now if you are back looking forward for some news! I still havent found a stable Iolite ram (touch crusie 2) with footprints working and fullly integrated to Artemis! Love to see some news on the good old (and often bricked!!!) artemis device.

Agree....at first I was excited about the Diamond 2 but with some of the chefs in here that are able to help keep the Diamond 1 in check with memory and all it's little tweaks, it made me want to wait....
I know Diamond 2 has more then just upgraded memory but not enough of an upgrade to jump just yet... It also me financially balancing my books. Let's see what comes out next year.

Is there something new for our beloved Hermes? New ROM perhaps? Are there still great chefs for the Hermes? Well Im sure there is! Whats the most recommended ROMs now? What have I missed in the last 6 months? I have read somewhere that WM is now on 6.5.... is it applicable to our Hermes?
Been soo busy at work! Its been a long time since I found time to visit this site..I think the last time was November/December last year and Im not sure if there are still a lot of Hermes users and a lot of Hermes cooked Roms as it was that time, considering that there are now many new HTC phones coming it. But as for me, I still love my Hermes (or maybe I just dont have the money yet to get a new HTC phone lols).
The current rom Im using I think is version 3.62 with Radio version 1.47.30.10, on WM6.1 with M2D, TouchFlo...I even forgot whose ROM it is...either PDAViet, PhamQuang, abusalza's PDACorner, Starbase64, JoshKoss, CRCinAU or Schaps, I really forgot now, so many Roms to play around that time. I have yet to check first my files in my PC as what were the last things I opened and used with regards to Hermes. Still, my Hermes is still doing great, alive and kicking!
I miss xda-dev. Thanks to all those excellent chefs I mentioned (and forgot to mention) .... I hope these days there is still something new to play around for the Hermes

well 6 months ago i used to have a hermes and try every rom for Joshkoss... excelent chef... but he migrates to Kaiser... and now we are all here because of his kitchen studys...
So try everything you can see... YES 6.5 is in town!!! for hermes....
