I encountered strange problems after HardSPL, for some reason my battery is being drained too fast (before after charging my device at night, in the morning I would still have 100% but now it goes to 80%).
Also, my left softkey does not respond when device is on standby (screen of).
Did anyone else have same problems???
Cheers
i dont have these problems.
spl is bootloader and i dont think it can make these problems

Try to remove and reinsert the battery. If that doesn't help you may have to HardReset your device.

I have been using gingervillain for a few weeks now and just updated to 2.3. I have noticed a problem with the battery. When the battery runs down to 15% the phone powers down. After plugging in to charge the charging starts from 0%. I think the phone is misreading the battery stats (thinking there is 15% left when its actually empty). I have tried the battery calibration app but this doesn't solve the problem. Had anyone had this problem our know any solutions?
Cheers
Mike

You can wipe battery stats in recovery. They say its best to do it before flashing a rom, but worth a go for sure! The option is under "advanced" if I remember.
Cheers, will give that a try, I thought that was what the app I tried was supposed to do but will give it a go anyway. Thanks.
That seems to have done the trick. I wiped the stats in recovery them re flashed and it seems top have worked. Thanks for the help.
Mike.

Try with currentwidget and/or battery monitor widget.
Did you turn off wifi/bluetooth/mobile connections?
And try to switch to GSM mode if it currently in 3G/dual.
My phone shows from 4 to 8ma while screen off, depends on which rom i'm using.
Install setcpu from market and enable profile named Screen-Off and set frequency to 128-576..It will help a lot to save battery
i use battery monitor widged pro.
Last night i shutdown my phone with 71% battery.. about 7 hours later phone on and only 39% battery... really od!
I have tried wifi sleep off, kernels , radios, cpu tweaks, airplane mode........ lowes it go is 57ma.
Soon i give this ****ty phone hammer and go buy samsung.

So are u sayng that ur phone gone from 71% to 39% while it was power off??
then, the problem is not the rom.
buy an other battery.. (htc one)..and always use an htc wall charger too

Yes.
I have new htc original battery and i allways use htc charger..
And i have done battery calibration...
Jst now i hope someone who had this broblem has managed fix this and see my thread..
Pff.. my eng so bad.
When i byed this phone i had any broblems. Now phone ower 1 year old..
Im not remember when my battery broblems started..
anyway i think is very strange that ur phone go from 71% to 39% while it is OFF...
leave away all the crap recalibration method
-flash a stock htc ruu, boot the phone just to see if it boot correclty (do not install anything, leave all off, internet, wi-fi..)
-shut down the phone (if u are on stock 2.3 disable settings/application and untick fast boot, then power off)
-remove the battery for 10 seconds (this is a sort of soft reset)
-put the battery in again
-charge it with the wall charger (not at laptop)
-wait the led to be green
-unplug the charger
-switch on the phone (it should be at 100% or 99% maybe)
then leave it on and see if the battery drain still occurs while ur phone is with screen off
if the problem still occurs (even when it is OFF), and the battery is a new htc battery, no solution. call htc, there is some fault in ur phone..and u should be covered by warranty
solved..nothing else you can do
let us know
Hello,
I have a problem with my flo battery. As i said in the thread title, the battery stays at 100% for more than 7 hours, even if I play with it, and have more than 45 minutes of screen on.
When it reaches 30-35%, it goes off, like it has 0 battery left in reality.
So, does anyone know what could be causing this reporting error?
I have tried 3 different roms so far, but the problem remains.
As far as I remember, the problem appeared along with 4.4. I did not encountered this in 4.3.
Sounds like you need to calibrate your battery if it's not being reported correctly. Follow the instructions in this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration

Hi,
I think i have a battery drain problem with my G Pad since the last firmware update (V50020d).
In 10 hours standby I loose round about 5% battery power. (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS turned off)
Before the update there was nearly no standby power consumption, maybe 1% over night.
I tried to solve the problem with a factory reset, but the problem still persists.
I havent rooted the device, so I can only use the PC Version from wakelock detector here from xda.
Maybe this screenshots could help:

I hope you could help me solving this problem.

Have you tried Greenify? its useful.
Sence you're rooted, also try some xposed module like xblast tools which modifies the biuld prop, or Greenify with xposed...
Hi thanks for your answer.
I have not rooted my device.

Try taking our your sdcard and see if the high battery drain overnight goes away. Some folks have noticed that the sdcard is now remounting several times a night and this causes the media server to scan the card over and over again all night resulting in battery drain. If the problem goes away with the removal of the sdcard you at least know what is causing it. Then you can join us in the thread where we are trying to track down what causes the sdcard bad removals....
Ok check your battery status and see if some google services is working in the background and uses some battery

Hi,
@muiriddin
I tried this last night, but the problem is not fixed.
Seems like the micro SD card is not the problem.
But thanks for your advice.
@Jhon998
When i look in the battery statistics it just said 21% Tablet idle.

For how long it eats 21%?
The tablet uses 21% battery in round about 2,5 days standby.
I still could not solve the problem, so I rooted my G Pad with ioroot.
BetterBatteryStats sayed the problem is com.google.android.gms.
See attached screenshots for more information.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Sorry that I do not have anything to offer by ways of an answer, but in what I feel may be a relevant addition to the topic, I've found that my VK810 actually *loses* battery even while it's charging and in use. With the charger hooked up, I can see the percentage dropping steadily even during light tasks such as web browsing, albeit at a slower rate than when it's unplugged.
See this how i left it all night...
Hey all. I made a recovery flash, and for some reason im not able to start the device. Is very hot, like chargin (but it's not), I press hole button and at 8 seg of press ir vibrate 1 time, ando do nothing more...
My computer dont recognize it so i cant adb it
SOLVED.
Seems there is a bug. When you power off and connect the watch to charge it, it starts the charging screen. If you start the device connected and with this screen, enter in a loop black screen draining battery. Until the battery is not at 0% the watch don't start.
I can confirm there is some kind of bug when you are charging your SW3, I did as you said and worked for me. now my SW3 is working again! thanks!
