searched for quite a while and couldn't find the original German o2 branded ROM. I just wanted to flash my Diamond and thought it would be nice to have the original ROM as some kind of backup (for warranty reasons).

hehe...so is mine. i remembered o2 had released official updates on their version of the htc prophet as well as on most of their other branded devices. couldn't resist flashing my diamond and was too fevered to check out how to dump the original ROM :-/
but right now i'm running bepe's bElite0.52 and everything seems faster and more stable now.
so...i guess we just have to wait for o2 to release an update or an other user to dump the stock-ROM for us.

As u all know that some files in the OEM r diff for HTC, Dopod & Softbank ... in order for a better WM6.1 ROM, I need the WM6 Roms ...
Hopefully somebody can put up links for the req roms.
Or just provide me wz the dump(raw also can do)

What do you mean "not original"???
If you sim unlocked your phone, now it probably has Dopod Rom, so it's no good.

Sorry if this a a stupid response - if you need the original WM6 ROM image, can you not extract from the ROM's stored on the XDA FTP Server :

One question..... in the HOW TO the last step of the files says "a valid signed official Touch ROM.". Maybe this sound a bit dumb, but... i guess that I need to use the Cava ROMs right?

I MIGHT be able to convince a friend to 'DUMP' his ROM. I am new to all this.....
What exactly does this do to the phone after it's dumped? Can he use it on softbank, or does he need a new ROM? Is there anyway to screw it away and 'brick' his phone?

nothing will be done to the phone it wont brick ur phone, refer to the thread.
I have made a WWE version of the softbank rom ... not in Japanese yet ... cant find the correct language files that work on WM6.1 ...

What is this exactly?
Is it a new official rom? Ported rom? If ported from where? Where is the nbh file? To all aspects what do you mean?
If there might be even a chance of you having a new romm for our diamonds it is better to share. Really.
Well, It's supposedly an offiicial SPL which is useless for custom ROMs
It would be good though if it could be hacked like 1.4 or 1.93 and the like to be useful for flashing custom ROMs.

Hi,
I use an i-mate Jasjar. I had upgraded my ROM to luca16thebig's wm6.1. This ROM had a tweak to make the backlight button work as torch using the flashlight.
Now I upgraded to Tomal's wm6.5 and it doesn't have the tweak. I love this ROM and don't wish to switch back to wm6.1.
I tried searching for the software too but failed. So if anyone could help me with the files, I'd be more than glad.

Hello mate, The links I used are now dead? But if you or anyone knows where I can upload wm6.5 for free and share for free then I can help you out.
