Hello guys, I have idea about the Perfect APP and who is able to make such thing will become a Millionaire with sure.
1st wana say im not a programer and i just have the right idea.. i cannot do it by myself but i decide to write it here and maybe some of you can be interested.
Its hard really but its inovation and worth the time because will change almost everything.
Now every single day we clearly can see that more and more the peoples start using they Pocket PC to surf in the net than the regular methood so.. all costumers LOVE the direct application.. like YouTube PLayer.. like many other because they dont need to open a browser and to type there the url.. and to wait to load.. they prefer ready APPs because is alot more easyer, Faster and Smooth with one single click you are there where you wana be.
My idea is:
Single Program.. that will be conected to a web address, in the web address can have actual INFO of alost everything.. from Wheater, Finances, Cinema, News, Sport, Flight tickets and many more.. you name it..depends how hard you wana do it..
So imagine one single APP in your device.. when you run it.. directly to appear like web page all the INFOs and you just choice what you wana chek today.. also will recognize the Country AREA and will show you exactly the INFO you need.
For example if you are from UK... when the app load you will be able to see the curency GBP to all other.. the corect wheater for your city, what movies will be played in the Cinema, Events, News and all this for UK... so with app like this you will be always in touch you do not need any more.. to read newspapers, or surf in internet to read some news etc.
Application like this will be inovation and will change everything in the MOBILE bussines.

I'm all for it! Hopefully Google will put it on android at least, but it would be amazing to have it on wm too, the mobile web version at the moment isn't very good.

Where do I find the passwords file on my rooted EVO?

I have a Rooted EVO and I would like to know where I can find the passwords file that is supposedly accessible.

Make a request to the app developers who are storing passwords as clear text that they should switch to a different system.
FWIW, while storing passwords in the clear is dumb, even if they were encrypted it will still be trivial for an attacker, assuming the phone is rooted, to compromise the password, all they have to do is compromise the part of the authentication process where the password is decrypted.
The only way to protect yourself against password while using a rooted phone is to be absolutely sure that the apps requesting root permission a) require the permission to actually work, and b) don't abuse root privileges.

I knew that accusation would be quickly following my post but actually it's not stolen. My GF logged into her gmail account on my phone and I can go in an access it but I want access to her Facebook... I think she might be cheating.

no, lets say youre at school, and you along with everyone else at your school is connected to the schools wifi, you turn on this app, and it will tell you all of the facebook users, amazon users, youtube users ect.. for example it will say facebook: John Dow, Will Smith, Papa Smurf, and so on, with a list of users. just click one of those users, and youre now logged in to their facebook, you can change their status, account info, upload a picture, or snoop through pictures. if youre on youtube, upload a video, change favorites, anything youd do on youtube normally.. if youre on amazon, buy them a flat screen, or some pokemon cards (what ever people use amazon for anyways..) whatever.. get it?

Just tried it and it works....waited till my wife logged on and it let me into her FB account...WTF lol..it only works three times and then you have to pay for it...its similar to firesheep on firefox if you have used that.

Always connect to those sites using SSL. (use HTTPS in front). Most big websites such as twitter or facebook have an option in your account settings to force use HTTPS and stop storing non-SSL cookies. (but you need to delete current one)

lol. i have this problem too. ive only found deleting then readding the contact works. so i will watching post for any other options

Is it permanent and auto... I need something like that, I rather not have frequent calls at all (TMI)

Idk if u can completely disable it but long pressing the contact u can remove em in 1 click i will check if they can be disabled and edit the post
Edit: i dont see any option to disable them entirely but deleteing is easy and it deletes the entire frequent call log for that contact and not just one call at a time so if u have (contact name) 15 calls to that contact it deletes all 15 calls and not just 1 call at a time

I think this is a valid topic, regardless of the OP's reasons for wanting to know. I like to show off my phone quite often to demonstrate some of the advantages of Android, and it would be nice not to have sensitive information like that so easily accessible to someone who's just playing around with my phone.

Do most people not know about the apps on the market that hide info like that? If you want to hide certain numbers when they call/text - get a black list app/privacy app or something like that. I like showing off what my phone can do also so I know what you mean. However, I don't allow complete strangers to handle my phone. I don't mind people seeing the name of someone I call often - I'm more concerned about the pictures they might see.

Guys, I use shady sms. It's got a built in call guard and a hidden contact list. Dev is cool too, he responds with help usually same day.
It blocks calls, sms, and hides them in the app. There's no app icon either. To open it, you go to phone, type your secret code, and hit send.

Didn't mean to touch a nerve, hope you get your partner back, root their phone or something nice like that! Good luck!

Maybe edit the phone.apk or dialer.apk to get rid of the frequent list all together.
Or it may just be editing a value check for a call to save to the list. That way its always empty.

If you're going to be a jerk to your wife, then at least just get a separate phone. Or maybe you DO want to get caught. If you really cared you would not cheat, and if she's not what you want any more do the right thing and divorce her so she can do what she wants and maybe find someone who respects her without having to be concerned about someone who seems to not care about her(you).
That being said, I would check out Shady SMS, seems to help some ways. I figure the cost is worth it if you don't want to get caught.

I was really just joking .. But I found Tiger - No Frequently Called, looking for the APK so I can try it out on Epic (But I can't find anywhere)... If anybody find it, share please

I think the app Super Private Conversation hides all communication from certain contacts and it is free on the market.
They changed the name to Private SMS & Call but it works wonders and is free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.superdroid.spc&hl=en
Alternatively, just use google voice for that purpose. All outgoing calls and text will be hidden within the google voice app.

not the case. I use my phone for work and business and I had more than 50 numbers populating the Frequently Called list. I used to be able to clear them in GB but ICS doesn't let you do that. tsk tsk tsk F U C K!

I hope someone finds a way, i tried to long press and nothing happens. I'm running anaconda ROM by team venum. I want to be able to delete specific call records
