Hi all.
I just bought my XDA IIs some days ago in HongKong.
I´ve tried to update it with the new rom from the "sourceO2" page ... the update started and then an error occured... ???
Now I can only see " USB " (when the device is placed in the sync station) or " Serial " (when it´s not) at the upper part of the screen ...
... and " V 2.07 " at the lower part.
What can I do to use my XDA again ???
Please HELP ME!

If you plug it into your cradle, while activesync won't connect, your phone is still connected with your PC. So you can still update the rom through the rom installer.
So I suggest you find another rom and upgrade it, or try the same one again (in hopes something just went wrong during flashing).

Or maybe anyone knows where to get the original ROM for my HongKong XDAIIs ?? There were some links in old posts.. But they don´t work anymore :-(
Unless anyone can find the Country ID of your XDAIIs (which you can no longer check because your device is inoperable), I'm at a loss.
POssibilities I've found are:
O2ASI001
O2___001
So all I can suggest is you try the suggestions here with the above (or if you find it, the correct) country IDs and the O2 Roms you have been trying:

I have tried to download the file xda2sHKcht.zip on this site in order to try but after I downloaded it, it said that the zip file is corrupted.
where´d you get it? :?:

you can try it and post a response to me to see if it works for you
try my trick with original update from qtek.nu
First download the the file from this link below.
http://www.qtek.nu/files/BA_WWE_BP_12200_169_10602_SHIP.zip
Then extract the zipfile.
After ectracting you get an exe file.
Extract this file also.
Then you get ruu.conf and the other setup files.
edit ruu.conf and add 1 line to it
[CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1
then save ruu.conf
after this start baupgrade.exe.
Hope it works but it only helps with country id error so if device is
differend then we need to do something else.

Oh if you get error tell me the 5 2digit nrs that appear, i can get device data from baupgrade.exe

KENJAVA - Try that! It worked really perfectly. Even with the newest Upgrade from the O2 page!
The only thing I don´t like about the O2 upgrade is the LOGO next to the start-button, since I´m using T-Mobile and since It´s always in the front and bugging me ;-) ... Anything I can do against it???

Glad it's back alive now.
You can edit some files in the extended rom to remove the logo and the default o2 settings but you must wait till i am home again so i can look it up.

how to edit files in the extended rom ?? :roll:
First unlock extended rom and unhide extended rom with tool found elsewhere on this forum.
You can find it on the ftp under extended rom kitchen in folder tools.
After unlocking you need to reboot the device.
Remove the lines that have to do with O2 in the file config.txt
After changing config.txt you need to mak hard reset.

Hello, i have a qtek 9090 and i read all faq about this model, and i upgrade my phone to wm5 and next install pda2k unidireccional and next soft reset i haven´t problems but when i need use THE HARD RESET and erase all programs installed, i have the same problem,the person with talk with me don`t ear good me, i look y remove programs and i don´t see PDA2k_unidireccion installed!. i've got the same problem... PDA2k unidirectional could not be uninstalled because it probably installed directly into windows registry.. don't be panic. just simply turn on the bluetooth when you are calling. in my case, it'll fix the problem...
Hi,
I am new in this forum and I hope you could help me to solve my problem. I have a loox N520 PDA. I have tried to update the PDA with the GPS fix provided by fujitsu. The first part of the upgrade has been correctly installed but after the reboot, the PDA does not load WM. I only have a screen with dolphins and a the top of this screen have 2 lines of characters :"1.20.G3" et just below "1.21."
Is it a problem with the ROM? I hope there is a solution to solve this problem. I have already download the romIhave found in this forum for thr loox N520but Idon't know howcanI use it at this state. If you have a solution, please explain me.

Hi Everyone, I decided to post a message to (maybe) have a solution to my little (yeah ! Very little ) problem.
I have a French AZERTY I780. (PDA ROM : XHHA2)
Here my story :
I wanted to have a rom which give me the possibility to use Tomtom without using Gpsgate (or anything else like that).
So, i installed the DxHE1 and the PUhE1 and putted the WM6 3.3X.
Yess !! Tomtom works well.. talalataaa !... But (yes, there is a but ) my keyboard does not work. The rom is a Us rom (QWERTY) and, it doesn't work correctly with my material one (AZERTY).
I tried to find solutions, but, found nothing
Here my question :
Which Rom do i have to install to have a Good Gps conditions ? (i suppose a French because of the keyboard problem.. but which version..)

Hello guy`s i have question and hope someone to help me with this solution!
So befor sometime i flash my HD and now im using a Davideuck v5 ROOM and after this also i flash my Radio Version to 1.13 .. all is fine the phone work perfect and is very fast also with the new Radio Version i can say that is more than perfect i have very strong network signal and the other items that use the radio work without a problem and more faster.
But i found after all this flashing that my Bluetooth not work like befor.. i think that when i Flash my phone with Davideuck v 5 or the new Radio 1.13 my Bluetooth change also.. im not very sure from witch one but the problem is that i can`t recve files via Bluetooth!
So betwen My HTC HD and my Brother with are with the same room and radio not have any problem and we both can send and recive files but i try with few diferent phones like Samsung, SE, and Nokia i can`t recive anything any kind of file.. the device when searchng for bluetooth can found me and see me but can`t send me anything and give some kind of problem like "Can connect with the device" etc.
Befor to flash the both phones i was able to recive files from this other phones and now i can`t...
Other way befor few day`s i buy a Bluetooth hands free that was with Version 2.00 and i can use my bluetooth hands free without a problem...
Also i can send files by Bluetooth to every other phone without a problem i just can`t recive from them.. so i think my Bluetooth Version was changing too after this flashing things.. because not have any point i to be able to send files just the other phones to can`t conect with me.. and i think if i try this with phones that have Bluetooth v 2.0 i will not have any problem to recive or send.. but many of the phones are with older Bluetooth versions and befor all this flashing there have not any problem like this i was able to do everything!
On the same time i really like my new radio 1.13 because work perfect for me and i see that worth it.. also the Davideuck v5 room for me is simple the best for now so i wana keep use this just some advice or help how i can fix this problem?
Maybe many peoples like me who flash the phones with the new radio version 1.13 have the same problem, maybe someone cam edit the new Radio Version 1.13 all to be good only the Bluetooth to be defauls like in the stock HD room.
On the same time befor a week i test another things i try to send file via bluetoth from another HTC older model and when we try conection on the other HTC device with is not HD but i forgot what model was was writen when we try to conect " the devices not support OBEX capable" or something like this for 1st time i see this OBEX and i don`t know what exactly mean!
So any of you who have the same problem.. or know the desigion of this problem can write me here!
