Hello, can some one point me the right direction to a thread that has something like a step by step instructions. Or maybe some clear instructions on how to setup the kitchen and cooking in NOOBS terms? I have a Kaiser also and in the Kaiser Forum the are sticks like these for NOOBs.
Cooking for Ultimate NOOBs (Screencasts)... (This link below is only for kaisers!!!!!)

We need some good step by step sticky in the Hermes Forum so we can get more people cooking with different Idea's. I tried reading all of the of the cooking sticky that are here in the Hermes forum but they wasn't to easy for me to understand and I was just able to cook 2 different builds for my Kaiser. So that should tell you something. There are alot of Idea that have been put in to roms that we in the Hermes forum have seen yet and I would like to make some custom Hermes roms with some different themes.

We have now found a way to flash securely the xda flame. And I have tested that imgfs tools are able to customize the original rom, then use it on the Flame.
Now I want to start creation of a wm 6 rom for the flame, but I do not find descriptions of what people have done for other devices to translate the process to do it for the flame.
So if someone can give me pointers to threads that tell how people have proceeded could help to to progress.
Thank you.

Did you read the wiki already?
Hello People,
I wonder if someone could give a small tutorial how to start cooking your rom, maybe something as easy as putting a NLD wm into a 1.93 stock rom. I have been searching and downloading several kitchens, but nowhere is told how to start or what to need.
I really would like an example or walktrough the basics. I think I want to cook my own roms too, and I know I can bite me into these things ... never a cook too much is there?
I would be interested too. I have seen Kaiser kitchen but I never seen how to remove application from a room or add new one.

Call me stupid, but I have searched around ALOT on this forum for an answer to my question but have yet found any relevance to what I am looking for.
I want to start cooking my own Artemis ROM's. As far as I have read the easiest way is by using something called HyperCore kitchen. Now, I've started using this, but have found out afterwards that cooked ROM's available to download on here, cannot be extracted properly so as to be able to make one of them custom for what I want.
And as there is no official WM6.1 ROM for the Artemis, I am at a loss.
Basically, what I am asking to do, is to find out how to port a Kaiser WM6.1 official ROM so that it would be usable on the Artemis. Alternatively, perhaps find out what files are required from the Kaiser ROM to make the official WM6 Artemis ROM into WM6.1.
I hope I haven't confused you all. Any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe from bepe, tom_codon, Anja, NhatHoa? Any of you guys still about these days?
90 Views and nobody else knows anything?
This is starting to bug me now
I have looked everywhere. I have used the search, the wiki, google! I can't find any reference anywhere that explains to me how I can properly make a WM6.1 ROM for my Artemis using the required 6.1 files from a Diamond ROM.
HELP!!!!!!!
Start off with a base ROM first instead of porting. Porting can get very tricky and complicated. I'm currently in the attempt of porting a ROM (for the Hermes) and let me tell you, it's not easy. If you want to know more, i can show you what i'm doing via IM (faster) or here.
Hallo,
first I must say that I never cooked a rom so I'm a Rom-virgine
I want to edit the original 2.03 GER Rom from HTC.
I Installed XBmod Manila Rhodium but after installation there is no free Memory, so I must cook a ROM by myself. TouchFlow3D is the only thing I want to change.
Can anybody give me a link to a tutorial where I can read everything about Rom-Cooking.
I nee a kitchen... which, where I can find?
Which files to edit...
I hope somebody can spend me some minutes to help a nooby ^^
Maybe "erviuskitchen" is good for cooking, i dunno...
BUT I Think you need 2100+ build 4 TF3D working properly.
musste ma gugge obs irgndwo ne anleitung gibt
On my Diamond with cab installation everything works fine.
Where can I get a 2100+ build? I need a GER version.
Go to www.htc-developers.de. It's a German forum and there you can find a kitchen with a 21042 ROM and SYS. But currently the site seems to be down ...
Check this out, it might spare you the cooking - german rom with xbmod manila - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497204
Hey, nice to see some people really trying to learn and not only: "can you do it for me?"
Here's the easiest way i found to start cooking, it's a really simple kitchen, with it you can dump any open rom and there's also a great video tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413782
And here's i nice post by Suiller explaining a little about some Manilla OEM's, what files you will need, etc...

Good luck man! If you have problems, just pm-me and i'll do my best!
In the Diamond ROM development section, look up the thread 'noob kitchen'. It's a thread where I and a few others help(ed) each other out to get started to cooking.
I posted a link there with a few packages and my entire ROM kitchen with what I ended up with, including my RhodiumManila packages.
Drop me a note on how to get going _after_ you've done at least a few test cooks and/or reading that thread for a bit .
If you're as far that you can dump the original 2.03 HTC ROM, and remove a few things, recook it and flash it: then you're just a few steps away from adding RhodiumManila to it
