Keyboard Skin

Hi
Does anyone out there have a cab for making the touchscreen key-board a little more inviting.. I had one off here years ago which made it blue green and a little 3d but I cant seem to find it on here, it was a cab someone had designed....>?????

yeah i use the red one, from what i can remember (and theres a post on it in the forums somewhere) they would only work with wm03

Well the red one is working fine on my wifes M600 (HTC Prophet)
Will try it on a 2003SE device tomorrow

Cheers Guys, I had a go at downloading one but it doesnt work, after further forum reading yesterday I believe the reason for this is because the app isnt signed. My device is locked to t-mobile and also super cid locked. So until someone comes up with a CID unlocked version I cant get this working.

You could try the cab file in the link below, it disables the certification allowing you to install & run unsigned programs & cab files.
Machinegod did a similar tool, try a search if your interested.

I lost the sound from MDA VarioII Speaker
I tried to go upgrade in ROMS and again Downgrade , BUT NO WAY
I performed the Soft Rest and the Hard Rest , NO WAY
it looks a hardware problem, unfortuntlly I am out of my country
Can I do anything myself to FIX this problem.

That will be a problem with the speaker contacts inside the phone, it is fixable but you will need to take your device apart which will void the warranty. Look at mike channons threads as there are some diagrams somewhere which will help you. The other choice is send you device back under warranty.

helo guys i never instaled a different rom on my htc diamond (xda diamond) and i would like to see this first how it can be done i also have a question i have the htc diamond but its from the carier O2 germany its called xda diamond but its the same phone could you tell me if i can install the rom updates thanks alot

If you would have read the full forum you would have cum across this site www.modmydiamond.info this site gives pictorial view on how to upgrade your ROM it is the best so far which I have also followed it...

yep, that is pretty much it. the progress bar is sped up tho, it takes up to 10 minutes. its really easy!

Also you might want to look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211. Between that thread and www.modmydiamond.info you should be just fine.

I think that If you look in the forum you will find lots of information, anyway as posted it's quite straightforward.

Yeah, there's nothing much to it really, just follow the instructions in the update utility.

after i copied his program to my GENE's momory and run it, i got to the tri-color screen and no updates can be done for three days.

I am sorry to hear your bad experinece, but I have to say that all of us using tools that were not specifically designed for our devices and found on this fantastic forum are AT OUR OWN RISK.
Personally I have more than a year using several OS, soft, etc and never crashed my device.
I enocurage you to not blame a bad programmer never.
It was never intended to harm anyones devices, but there is always a risk that we agree to have when we install something "extra"

I agree with you 100% and i wish that my GENE will come alive again.
the problen now, i don't know what they'r gonna do with my GENE and even it'll be upgradable after thier fix or i have to use it as it is?

Any how, i'll keep trying and trying to upgrade my GENE with the latest versions but my question to you is:
Do you (have/know) a good/tested tools to be used? because i downloaded many many tools/.nbh and it cause headack to me.
which one trusted and tested and working fine and which WM versions stable?

i got my GENE back and it is working fine (they charge me 100$).
can you help me please to upgrade it with the correct procedure and tools to do that?
i'm confused by all the tread descriping the procedure and tools.

I recommend you to READ the Wiki, and to ask to the most experienced members that have a device like you

diamond 3 australia rom & radio

didnt particulary want too make a new thread and make clutter.. however i have searched for about half hour now and have had no luck finding a stock Rom for a 3 australia diamond????
is there one available?... strangely enough im actually after one with all the 3 branding on it aswell if possible

New rom is now on HTC website australia. Only thing is that you need a product serial number to download the file. I have a Telstra version and I tried the product serial code and it would not let me download it.
