hi people,
I have upgraded my xda2 to wm2005, now active sync has crashed and i cannot get a connection going at all with it.
does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade via an sd card. I'd like to put the image on the sd card then do the downgrade from there.
I cannot use the normal methods because they all require an activesync connection.
if you do and could give me a real dummies step by step, I would be very grateful
thanks
First suggestion re-install act.sync on your PC & if your xda2 is the problem: hard-reset that one.
yeah, I have done that. I have tried it on another pc, and re-installed active sync 4
thanks
& that didn't work, too bad. Then you need advice from a xda2 specialist, & that's not me (I only know the magician). Have you checked your device's wiki section?
I have not checked but will do now, thanks anyway
success

I believe that if any other user were to upload their cab to you, it would be tied to their own personal Outlook settings. I could be mistaken though.
If you installed Emoze to your memory card then the files you need are still there, look for the biggest .exe and run that.
Hi to all...
I have a BA that is in win mobile 6.1.... I have been using it for some time now and on a day that i needed to install some cab. files... It always shows that the installation was unsuccessful and i tried copying all the files from my SD card to the device it self but it shows that it cannot be moved nor copied.....
And another thing is that my BA has the mail button broken so i cant format it.
My Question is that can i use mtty without activesync on my pc.. (i Cant install Activesync because the pc is not a shared one and i do not have administrative privilages)
Thank you guys for spending your time on reading this
Hey guys and gals.
Im after some help fixing my Imate JasJam (herm100).
I recently flashed a new rom to my device ant it dosent seem to be working properly.
You guys prob get asked this all the time but i cant find it anywhere - Is it possible to fix my phone using Bootloader Mode? If so how?
I have a 2Gb micro sd but i have no reader for it i have usb cable for computer and the new activesync.
i downloaded the rom off your sit and it worked for ages then just stopped its called _QUEROMB1_Essentials_WM6.5-21807_for_Hermes
I would be so grateful if anyone at all can help or give links or suggestions.
Thanx.

you will need a reader if its not working via usb. If active sync is working I think you may be able to transfer the file to the card to flash, if the jasjam supports it. Better search in the threads, they may already have these answers.

You can use PIM Backup, not sure how well that would restore to your new phone tho.
