Everytime Activsync runs with my Orbit it puts the clock 1hr ahead. The regional settings are correct on the phone and the time is correct on the PC.
Why is it doing this????

fixed it... turned off enable advanced network functionality and it works fine =)

Ever since I started playing around upgrading the software of my exec i'm having major trouble syncing it to my PC, When attached to my PC it accesses and says connected if I hover over the icon but the dialog box shows retrieving settings all the time. I cannot sync any PIM information etc but I can transfer stuff to my device but not from...
any ideas what I have messed up??

I had the same problem. If you look in setting, connection you can set the USB back to the standard system and not advance.
Have a look, and do not forget to do a soft reset for the change to be done correctly !

You've got a nice forum here, that I stumbled upon yesterday... and already I've got a little problem , where I hope you can help me with. (I've searched the forum already in the Artemis section, but didn't find anything appropriate to help me, so if I missed a solution for my little problem, I'm sorry for posting it again)
Here I go:
Since today my activsync won't syncronize with my HTC P3300 anymore.
There is a connection, but no syncronisation (I mean I can explore the folders on my phone, but it never stops syncronizing). The Optionsmenu in Activsync is also blanked out, so I can't change any settings (anymore).
The problem occured when I changed some settings that I would like to sync also. (My contacts and emails where not set to be synced, so I activated them earlier today) after that the activsync windows on my desktop only shows that he is syncronizing, but never stops -> As I tried to figure out a solution, I removed my connections that were stored on my phone (I've got 2 'syncaccounts': work and home), and tried to create another 'syncaccount',...alas. Before that I tried to softreset my phone,... also had no effect.
My activsync status (on the phone) says that the server can not be reached, and that there might be a network problem (but why can I explore my folders on the phone then?). So I tried to fix (with the standard repair-option) my lan setting for the phone on my desktop, but that didn't do the trick either...
I really don't know what happenend, and I hope that the forum's wisdom can help me out here.

Never mind,
resolved it myself. Hardreset the PPC and installed activesync 4.5
Now it works again.
Still wonder what caused the problem?

I've got 2 problems with my orbit.
1. When i put the orbit into the cradle or plug it in via a cable to my computer for the orbit to sync / charge the screen doesnt come on. The orbit is conncted to computer and sync's fine but for some reason the screen has just stopped comming on. If i turn the screen on and then put it in the cradle then its fine. Just annoying really.
2. I cant save any notes that i have created. For example i go into notes, then scribble something press the tick in the right hand corner but nothing happens? I cant get to the screen which asks where to save it and what to call it etc? I have wisbar and pocket breeze installed and both are the latest versions.

I have the same problem with my Notes.
I see that you also run PocketBreeze... I think this might be the problem...
I will uninstall PocketBreeze and try again

I've found the problem: change the save path of your Notes from SD-Card to local memory of your device.

i have a very big problem!! today i must travel to amsterdam and i cant take noland maps on my device...i have original dvd with all maps but when i connect my device to pc...tomtom home display "searching for installed things on htc artemis" i dont know the right message in english hehe
but then the program freeze...i dont know how to do!! i changed rom with another i used before and was working but still freezes...
the only change i made are lots of poi downloaded but i dont think it can take more than 4 minutes to load theme
when i disconnect usb cable the program return to work as normal

Just one (perhaps silly) question: I don't have a mobile date connection on my diamond.
So I always get an error message if I look at the weather forecast, because the system wants to update the weather information.
What I need: I want an automated update of the weather forecast when the diamond is connected to the PC via USB (every 30 minutes), but I don’t want a update if the diamond is not connected to the pc.
What do I have to do?

This has nothing to do with ROM development....
You can only use the manual update when you've disabled auto update.
Maybe you can achieve your goal using Mortscript. This is a very powerful program
