What do you think about this Chome Shadow theme?
Not bad Too much brown though... I hate that brown Just personal preference though.. hehe

Oh yeah that Freddy Reyes guy will come here and complain that we stole his cab and "used it without permission"... you know... the one that makes some registry edits for Chome (Microsoft software) and changes some .xml files around (again... Microsoft software).
I've seen the cabs I make, make it all the way to china on the pda4x forum with some guy posting it as his own. I don't care, I make them and post them on the net to SHARE, not to go whine if someone else uses them. Especially when we talk about software that we do NOT own, or for that matter even have permission from microsoft to modify!!

Well Thanx to a lot of people we have now Dialerskins on our BlueAngels.
Managed to get it working trough the new method.

Well, i have to take a look for a red theme,
But i created one in Blue Angel style,
Damn i like those faded buttons, so i leave that in this one.
This one needs to be installed to the device "storage", so not to the SD.
Uninstall other skins before installing this one.

back_port.bmp is for the background.
Bad thing is that you have to create a cab or use the test one.

Changing the screen in the cab is faster to replace, than to reboot your angel after you installed a skin.

I never understood the need for a separate keypad locking application on the excalibur. Isn't it a lot easier to just hold down the End key until it locks ? beats having to scroll down to the right panel, choosing the application, then on top of that.. answering Yes or No to the "Lock keypad ?" question!!

Can't have too many Locks? Seriously, I dunno. I have an auto locker with a not-too-annoying delay, keeps me out of embarrassment when I'm at the bar.

Sorry, one more thing. If you are doing it with CeleCmd, can you make a new folder for the new dll, that Celecmd loads the contents of, so that we can drop in our own hacks into the switcher? I understood just enough of the documentation to realize that CeleCmd is pretty powerful.
And if not, could you include the dark version I made in your ROM? Please?
UPDATE Don't want to make a whole 'nother post again so soon. I'm off to make a totally new background for the Cpanel bubble. Something curly/tribal, if I can get it to look good.

Thanks just thought i'd make them available to Rose users as the bronzeres.dll does not hold the panel, also you can stick them all on mem card and switch whenever you want

Good work fellas!!! Quick question, I just upgraded to Rose 1.7 (which kicks ass by the way!) I added the chilly billy 2 rose panel but it seems like the image sits in the back because the panel does not become see through. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Hey celly, The panel in the cab should be as in the pics above. Fire around the edges with clock/date etc still visable in the centre. If ya having problems try unistalling it and trying again, if not pm me and i will see what i can do to help

I updated to Rose 1.7a and was looking at the panel cabs. I was under the impression (sorry in advance if I am wrong), that, for instance, if I chose one that had weather in the clock panel, it would be that way on my phone. Well, it's not. I prefer to use sliding panels but the only one that seems to be affected at all is HTC Home. I'm not averse to trying something new.

I have made this theme -my 1st theme - wanted it to be very simple,very light and actually very practical with the MRU on the top so you don't have to roll down to reach to your recently opened applications , and for me it's the 1st priority and am sure it's the same for many others who use the MRU much and don't need these stuffed glittering homescreens .

i didn't think about it when i was working on it , i just wanted to make it as much simple -and still practical- as i can , the digital clock was 1st goin to be analog , but i didn't want to add plugins so anyone can use this theme without any non-basic plugins , that's all !

This theme is based on the Classic Blue theme and the background is used under authorization from Trey Ratcliff pay him a visit, it's worth it!!
If you have any problems with the theme please let me know so that I can try to fix it thank you!
[EDIT 2009/10/25] I found a couple of issues with the theme and I'm in the process of correcting them, it has to do with some of the colours being displayed improperly, will update the download link as soon as possible.
oh.. and BTW, I don't mind if you guys link the theme in blogs, twitter or whatever else, but please don't just link the file, link back to this post, that way if I update the download link your posts will still work
[EDIT 2009/10/26] got a new theme for you, it's still a version of "HF Clear" but, as requested I've created a "HF Burgundy Clear" theme.
I think I've got all the kinks out and think it looks good.. what do you say?

Glad you like it.. as for the builds it works with, well.. it's supposed to work with pretty much any WM6.5.x build since it's based on the Classic Blue Theme, I just messed around with the transparencies on some of the files..
I wasn't thinking about making a red/burgundy one, I guess I just like dark and simple things.. but.. well.. I'm looking at the device right now.. it would look good wouldn't it? hehehe

I don't think that there is a WM6.5.x PT rom out there for the X1 but then again, I never looked.. hehehe mine came from the UK, I really don't like my software in Portuguese.. it's an old thing with me, when I started messing with computers it was all in English so I just kept with it hehehe

sorry.. the theme is for windows mobile, I believe the TouchFlo uses themes of its own, so no, I cannot fix it.

Doesnt matter what ROM you are using, it is a simple cab install...
Download the cab file (link on first post).
Then use your file explorer, or total commander or whatever file explorer you use...
Double click on it, and it will install on your device..
Then go to Settings/HOME/ and HF CLEAR or Burgundy will be one of your options in APPEARANCE....
then just highlight/select it and click okay...
And your Done!
