I don't know the answer to your question, but I just wanted to inquire about the origin of your User Name. If it's referring to the band Killswitch Engage...then that's awesome. lol They are an awesome band.

Need help with manila background image

Hi,
I have a O2 branded TouchFlo3D, so it is blue and white. The background image an all manila pages is fading from blue to white.
I have replaced all Luaq- and QTC-Files in my windows-directory with those from the original htc theme. That works fine, but i still got the old O2 background image. Which file do I have to replace???
Please help.
Sers,
maybe the luaq and qtc files are the animation behavor itself and the gles files are the picture informations?
Please report if it will work!
regards
You can try this !
Unzip this file and install CAB on your Diamond.
Enjoy official Manila theme !

Can u make screenshot for it.Maybe with Screenshot i can help a bit
Yeah, post a screeny so we can see...I'm using Dutty's Full, with an O2 manilla cab installed. I didn't get the .tsk or wallpaper in it, so not sure what you mean. On the pages after home, the screen is gradient, but with bars. If you don't mind, while helping can you tell me which file is the background images aside the home page?

Did you mean the wallpaper on Manila backgorund when you selected one from the setting page?
If that's the case you should see:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeBackgroundPath
Unless it's not what on your mind.
Hi!
I think, we talking about that picture, what's in the background on all of the other Manila pages. Black with gray rectangles.
Is that changeable manually like the home's one?
What file is it? Anyone can help me?
by Avers
PS: Sorry for my poor english!
Hi, sushilange,
could u plz upload the o2 manila files so I could compare the files with the stock ones?
I really think it should be the gles files which effect the background....
best regards
Yes I mean the background image, which is on all manila pages.
I figured out, just replacing all QTC-Files doesn't work, so i had to replace all manila-files. I think you also need a LuaQ-File for displaying the background?
I have found it.

I also have a background image problem while using Manila black, it's a different though...
Since i applied the manila Black theme, i am no longer able to change the homescreen background. No matter what i try the "wallpaper" just does'nt appear.
Who can help me out?

Changing Start Menu icon/ Editing top/bottom bar

Ok, I know about editing themes and tsk, etc... But is there a tutorial or a simple way to change the start menu icon on the top bar? Can I customize the top bar to how I want it to look without using a 3rd party software, even taking it off?
While I'm asking, is there a tutorial to skin the dialer?
Thanks.

Thats not helpful...
Is there a way through the registry? Are the image files hidden? Are they stored in a resource file or DLL file? If so, how can we get to them. Information like this would be helpful.
Also, is there a tool that allows customization? Not a complete theme tool, just for the start menu and bars.

6Fg8,
In new manila in the Communications tab ----> 'Wi-Fi', it gives you the available networks.
Do you happen to know the file that gives you the highlight icon when you press the network you want to connect to?
(I altered some manila files to change the theme and now when I press at the desired network it highlite part or the name
Thanks in advance

Sorry, i dont know the filename for that. But to me it looks more like a problem with the sizes of the images you replaced. Did you keep the exact heights and widths of the graphics?

No, I didn't. But I'm not sure about the files I borrowed from the theme from Diamond thread.
I'm looking on them right now.
Thank you for your replies.
How to change weather update intervals?
I didn't find anything about, I'm still searching...
I have another question regarding weather update intervals, this time.
Does anyone knows which manila files to edit, so we can change the update intervals when we have selected 'Download weather automatically' in weather tab (e.g. make it update every 4 hours)?

buttons

It might be a stupid question and if so dear administrators please remove this thread. I am wondering if anyone found the names of the buttons in the command bar (the bar below) in the new winmo roms such as 23053+.
This should be winmo graphics and no manila files and thus more easily to modify, I guess.

They actually can come under different names depending on which theme you select. The easiest one to look at is prefixed with ClassicBlue, thats the MS set
Here are some skins for these buttons
Maybe you can extract the files from the cab to make your skin...

Thank you for your quick response. Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, since these weren't the icons I was looking for and the buttons in the command bar don't change when you switch themes.
I added a full screen shot and marked the buttons.
Thanks anyway.

Change the notification application

I cannot find a way to set my application to replace the default (or HTC) notification face. The one you get when you tap the taskbar and showing your incoming SMS, missed calles, battery state. Any one has an idea on this?
In the same idea, I'd like to be able to create my own task bar. Not just changing the icons.
