yeah since the news of 2005 came to this site
the forum have slowed down to a crawl making it

Where to get wm2005??

according to my knowledge ,,, we cant upgrade to wm 2005 ,, unless its provided by the operator or manufacturer,,
But if you knwo something more ,, please do let me know,,

as far as I know Microsoft will post an "upgrade licence" to move from 2003 se to 2005.
Up to now I haven't seen a WM 2005 announcemnt, nor an upgrade proposal.

when i try to upgrade to wm2005 from wm2003se i get country id error.....GOT XDAII ..........ive tried to go to bootloader mode and then run upgrade process but same results...?? any help ???

Limited RAM TRUE But WM2005 seems to handle RAM much more efficiently.
Very Slow FALSE Not true, even with limited resources my MDA2 handles really well. I just make sure to close any unused opened apps in the background.
SW Incompatibility TRUE and FALSE I have discovered that there are SOME apps and games that do not work, but the vast majority that I have tried DO WORK. (there is a thread somewhere with a list of working apps).
In conclussion, I think I will keep WM2005 until the official one comes out...

nobody know if the official version will ever be released for xda2's
the 2003SE was only ever released for xda2 in chinese
it's a question if HTC and o2 and tmobile really want to support new os versions on an older device

Please have a look around here there are a lot of roms out here. every is good. You have to decide by yourself.

it is subjective, all the updates have their own pros and cons. read the preview and that might give u the idea about the room.. cheers

could you tell me how to used it? when i try to upgrade it and the pda show it will install an unknow EnterBootloader.exe ask me yes or no. if yes it will turn to 3 color screen. someone tell me what could i do? i try 4 roms but still get same error.

I'm searching for a wm6 GER. For my Trinity p3600.
I only find bepe's 1.79. It is good and looks fine, but for me the LASAGNE is very good in design. But in italian language.
Are there other GER versions or is the LASAGNE available in GER? (does not support GER, i tried it)

yes its good to upgrade to wm6 ...

Hi friends,I am new to j2me. I want to connect Bluetooth printer(Thermal Small Printer )to Imate Ultimate 6150 mobile. normally i connected through bluetooth its conneced ..fine.. now i want connect through the j2me mobile application to send the data to the printer and printer it should print the data..
now i am struggling to get the printer info from j2me mobile application.. also how to send the data please guide me... how to do that .. please guide me... give tips or useful links ...also what are the basic information i have read for this project.i know some basic about the bluetooth.. it has three method to transfer the data: (1)OBEX (2) L2CAP & (3) RFCON.. which one i can use... I use Netbeans to develop the j2me application also in unix platform

my jama is showing error code 9 process after trying this version and now it is not working whenever i start the device every time it stucks on errorcode 9 process. after showing imate logo. i m very much confused wat to do now ?????????????

jama orginal rom(wm5) is only available at imate service centers.i've upgrated my jama.now l could'nt find any orginal rom for this device to return to wm5.

Hi,
I need some Help with the Toshiba e830.
Well as I know there are no updates whatsoever, but maybe some of you guys can make one. I really want to have at least wm5 because the old wm2003 doesnt seem to work with most new programs (i need the new opera mobile 9.5)
The device is great hardwarewise. I mean it has all i need.
actually i read, that there was an update for the japanese e830 (japanese Rom)

You should do a wm5 or wm6 rom for such e830 users as me,and somebody maybe pay for it

thats what im asking others to do...
because i have absolutely no plan at all...
if there are tutorials on how to do it or someone would explain or help how it works im willing and will try it for sure...
and i guess there are still some e830 users out there.
as i understood, the problem is a bootloader to reach the data in the rom of the device...

hehe, im the one who needs help...
anyway, ive found a bootloader and the japanese rom update...
there are two files: eboot.bin and xip.bin ...
so maybe someone of you guys knows anything...

Nice specs.
I have one in french and i have been locking for many years on how to upgrade an english rom.
Even upgrade to wm5
No luck so far.
i have :
English rom image
French rom
Japanese rom
e800 wm 2003 bootloader
e75x wm 2003 bootloader
osloader 1.5.6.exe
e830jap.exe
e830r0411jap.exe
but don't know what to do with the files.

i just bought dopod 900 with WM6 installed on it. but later i found that the video call not working. some of my friends said that it because of the version of WM6. they advice me to downgrade it to the original WM5 OS, so the video call can be use.
can anyone help me to find the source of WM5 OS that i can use?
i will appreciate it.

Yes it works with G3
But you can always try a 6.1 ROM!, that personally found more interesting than WM5, of course if you don´t mind not having videocall...
