Hardware microphone mute button - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

I'm using my Hermes for conference calls frequently. While calling I use the microphone mute often, especially when I'm driving in my car.
Is there a way to assign this function to a hardware button? I downloaded Smartools and SPB phone suite but I don't see this function.

Ringtone playing over bluetooth when answering

This problem I am having seemed to start with WM5 AKU 2.3 and is still happening to me in WM6. If someone calls me, and I push the button on my bluetooth headset to answer, my ringtone plays for about a half a second to the person calling me. They usually complain about a loud noise when I answer the phone. I have discovered if I push the answer soft key on my phone instead, it doesn't play the ringtone, but it takes a little longer for my headset to pick up. This happened with my old headset (Plantronics Discovery 640) and my current headset (Jawbone). Has anyone else experienced this problem? If there was some way to adjust the delay for when the headset picks up, I think it would fix this problem because when pressing the key on the phone to answer there is a delay, but when pressing the button on the headset, there isn't.
Thanks...Brian

Toggle Handfree on/off during call w/o turning BT off

I am using an 8125 with Slide2Unlock and the Iphone dialer pad. Even with the standard dialer phone pad, if I want to stop using the headset during a call I must use the menu button at the bottom and select "Turn Hands-free off".. There are times that I do not want to use my BT headset or vehicle hands free unit. I would like to know if anyone had extracted that command and if it could be placed on the "in call" dialer skin as a hot button, like hold or mute, without having to go through the menu to access it. I don't need anything fancy that toggles the bluetooth on/off, in fact I would like to leave that unaffected. Simply a command that shortens the finger strokes of going through the in call menu and setting the handfree status.
Thanks in advance to brain tank.....
Does anybody have any ideas????? Please would really like an app like this....
Please Please...really want an app like this but I have no idea how to make one.
Thanks
have you tried holding down the green call button whilst in a call? Works on my SPV M1000 to turn speaker phone on....

Speaker phone is not my issue, I want to toggle between Headset and Handset while in a call. Like pressing menu/Handfree off.

I tested a today plug-in which did it, unfortunately I don't remember the name. AFAIK it is the only software capable of doing it while in a call, so.... hope you'll find it

Voice Speed Dial button on headset

I have TyTN with Windows Mobile 6.1 - thistime without integrated voice dial with headset (supporting A2DP and AVRCP) Therefore I have installed 3rd party app for voice dial. (VITO VoiceDialer)
But unfortunatly the button on headset for speed dial is not working. (other buttons like music forward/backward, redial last number are working)
Is there any way to hook the headset-button or emulate it as HW button on device. Such as Button 1, Button 2 etc.? Or assign default voice dial application?
Thank you for any tip
still not solved
I have found tutorial for eten, but not working on my tytn, rly weird

Question to those using phone for GPS

I'm sorry if this has been asked in the past, but I was wondering what happens to your navigation screen when a phone call comes in or when you need to place a call? Now it would be nice not to be doing several things at one time, but if a call comes in while you are trying to navigate, doesn't the call menu come on screen? How do you suppress that? Just wondering as I am looking to get a TP2 via AT&T. Thanks.
Dunno about other kit, but my copy of TomTom6 produces a popup on my iPAQ hw6915, and all I hace to do is answer the call (I use a BT headset with it when driving to stay roadsade as much as possible). The voice directions from TomTom remain muted while the call is in progress, by the way.
hi
While using GPS (GARMIN XT), the phone screen appears in case of incoming call.
I always use my bluetooth earphones while using GPS.
GPS voice will be thru the speaker and call on bluetooth.
After the call, the screen turns back the the GPS view automatically.

Tilt2: Can't answer calls w/ bluetooth headset

Having this problem on 2 stock Tilt2s:
My Plantronics Discovery 925 headset doesn't properly answer incoming calls when I press the button on it that's supposed to (and that has worked with all other phones I've used). It's weird: when I press the button, the beep in the headset that's supposed to notify you of an incoming call changes to a different style of ring, but the call is not answered. Pressing it again does nothing.
I tried my wife's Discovery 925 and I'm getting the same issue.
I'd say it's a problem with these headsets in particular, but as I said, I haven't had any issues using them with other phones. Also:
My car bluetooth (2009 Audi A4) also has problems answering calls with the Tilt2.
If I answer the call on the phone itself, everything works fine.
I've heard that the Tilt2 uses a different bluetooth stack than usual, and perhaps this is to blame. Any way to fix this?
Here are some other threads reporting bluetooth problems:

Same exact problem with a Plantronics Discovery 975.
Wow, OK, figured out the problem:
The Widcomm bluetooth stack, in its infinite wisdom, interprets the pressing of a bluetooth headset answer button as equivalent to a press of the Green Button / Answer button on the phone (as opposed to treating it as the standard bluetooth command to answer the call). I had the Green Button remapped to iContact using aebuttonplus, which caused the problem. Incidentally, using "Green Button" to remap the green button doesn't result in this problem.
So I guess we can close the file on this one. Love these conversations with myself.
