BA doesn't see SIM Card - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hello!
I need help. My BA won't work with my SIM card (which is good... verified in another cell phone). The only info I get on the Phone screen is: "The SIM card is not valid" (but it IS valid!!), and the info about the emergency calls. To be more precise: My BA was working good. It was recognizing SIM card good. I disassembled my BA to verify the microphone (it doesn't work BTW). After I've assembled the BA again... SIM card wasn't recognized.
Is it possible that I've broken something and there is no connection?
PLEASE HELP ASAP !!
edit:
Another question is: What do those letters "R", "G", "D" mean when I restart my BA? Maybe it is connected with my problem somehow, because for the "R", and "G" there is only "NONE" (Before the SIM card problem I think, there was something else than "NONE")

the r is for the radio rom version
the R and G are showing none but will become ok after a soft reset (hopefully) it happened with me ...... place the sim properly in the slot and them retsart the ba .... else try and use a different sim .... the R and G have to show some value and not NONE

[Q] Issue in registering Sim card on GSM Network

Hi everybody,
I have got a Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini Dual ( GT-I9192 ), and it is rooted by CWM.
I have got two sim cards, one is WCDMA, and the other one is GSM. The problem is that the cellphone cannot register my GSM simcard on the network. I did not have this issue before, only after sometimes it appeared. I don`t know whether this is a problem caused by rooting the device or not. I have checked the IMEI codes and they are fine ( I think - checked by IMEI.info ).
The Baseband is I9192XXUBNB1.
I again rooted my device today and cleared data. But still no result...
Good to mention, I have tried two different GSM sim cards and they did not work. Also I have tried the sim cards on another phone, and they worked well on the new phone.
What is interesting here is that when I put back my sim card from the other phone to mine, at first it works, but then it does not work anymore.
How can I solve this issue? Does anyone else experience the same problem?...
Help please...
Thanks,
Forget About that!
Okay Guys, Forget about that! I changed the Cellphone, thanks for your great replies!

Locked SIM card

Hello guys!
I have a phablet Cube WP 10 with a locked SIM card (No service status). I already installed InteropTools_2.0.95.0 and searched in the registry of OS using the Interop Registry browser, but couldn't find any parameter related with a the SIM card and its status.
What should I do to unlock the SIM? May be there is another trick without using the registry?
Attention! Added information: The SIM card works with another phone and this phone sees it, but can't use the cell network - "No service" when calling...
Which carrier is the sim card from? What do you mean sim card lock? SIM card has a pin enabled?
Try putting the sime card into another phone yet?
You won't unlock locked phone to use SIM from another carrier by modifying registry. There is no such a thing.

No service
The SIM card works and the phone sees it, but can't use the cell network - "No service" when calling...
If you purchased your cube for a specific operator, you must call this operator to have the unlock code.

I thought the Cube WP was an unlocked device.
If the SIM sees no network that means the sim is not compatible. I am not sure what the problem is exactly.
I've changed current SIM card to the SIM card of another cell-operator, but nothing has changed. And what is important to mention, I can't find any cell-network of my region using the network search. May be it's some kind of lock?

maybe, simply the phablet has a hardware issue - most probably antenna has been disconnected from the motherboard
I have sim cards that if they are deactivated will get no service when inserted into a valid phone they can work on. Are you using an active sim? If so maybe look at this link as there are some service codes to try maybe...but make sure to read any warnings. Not sure if any of them work either.

Both these sim cards are active because they works with other phones.
Thanks for this link, but these codes destined for Android OS and don't work on WM10 except first one.
Wad worth a shot anyway.

Replaced Mainboard - "Not registered on network", Network bars & IMEI present

Replaced Mainboard - "Not registered on network", Network bars & IMEI present
Hello, my Note2 phone had a call problem (would dial but no audio/voice) so I bought a cheap replacement board (ie no guarantee), seller said it needed firmware fix.
Swapped over and on boot saw a Kies prompt to reset firmware load - so I flashed TWRP and a Lineage rom in Odin and brought it back to life.
However, Network strength was zero and no calls possible. After many tweaks, swapping SIM cards, I reflashed stock 4.4.2 rom. Now I have good signal strength in the taskbar, my board IMEI is present but the dialler returns "not registered on network". Phone status shows signal strength, correct network but Service State - out of service and Mobile network state - Disconnected. Just flashed MODEM.tar.md5 but no change there.
Could this be a hardware issue? ie why the board was cheap? If so, is it the SIM reader (ie replaceable) or other component? Happy to cannibalise parts from 2 boards to make one working. Or maybe another soft issue I am not aware of?
thx
The sim card and SD card reader are contained in the same part and is swappable.
Does the phone detect a sim card? Is it possible the imei has been blacklisted?

Tried swapping that part, no joy; when I remove SIM and reboot I get the no sim card message. Yes a blacklist is possible who knows.
Considering throwing in the towel now, my main Note 2 makes calls, but has no NFC and no audio via jack; my 2nd cannot make/receive calls and now the 'replacement' board is possibly toast. Might just part out the lot and get a new phone now
You can check the imei for blacklisting here: https://swappa.com/esn

WiFi chip location

Could anyone help me and show where the wifi chip is?
This is picture of this motherboard:
OK, so I have the second question. What is wrong? My phone doesn't detect SIM card and WI-Fi doesn't work. Phone is trying to start, but I get an activation screen. I may choose WiFi communication or SIM card. None of them work.

Question Please help! Need some files and help! Modem files - Sim not working!

Hello everybody i have Samsung Galaxy s21 FE 5G "SM-G990B/DS" Snapdragon 888.
I bought the phone second hand knowing it is problematic,
The problem is that when a sim card is inserted the phone asks for the pin code then once the pin is entered it knows if the pin is correct or incorrect, i enter the correct pin but then nothing happens. In the status bar there is that *no sim inserted* symbol. Once i connect to a wifi network and turn wireless calling feature on, calling and sms function of the phone starts working with inserted sim card. Long story short without wifi connection sim doesn't work at all. I hope i've described my problem clearly.
i can provide every bit of information about the phone.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.
Edit: I have tried re-flashing a new firmware via odin.
Perhaps the calls work over WiFi, because the SIM provider allows you to make calls over WiFi through the google carrier service.
So, you probably have a faulty RIL as the SIM card was read correctly.
What possible way i can fix it? I can't find many sources about s21 fe since its a relatively new device and not very popular around devs.
