When I want to upgrade my old WM5 with WM6, there shows a mistake, error (ERROR 294 INVALID VENDER ID. I tried a few WM6, but none of them work. There is the same mistake with all of them. Help me, please, so I can upgrade my O2 TRITON.

I bought a BA (QTEK) in France in second hand. It has a freench rom (v. 1.12.20FRE).
Now I want to put a English updated rom in it. I tryed and I got a "country error" the exact message is "ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR"

Have successfully upgraded imate PDA2k from WM2003 (WWE) to WM5 (WWE), but wish to go back to WM2003 (WWE). Have tried running latest ROM from club imate but get "Error 120: Country id error". Have also tried loading from SD in bootloader mode but get "Section=3 Not allow update!". Please help ! Anyone ?

I have been trying to get a vodafone 1605 to WM6 (pref 6.1) but I cant upgrade. It runs WM5 at the mo and when I try to upgrade i get 1% in and get "error [294] : invalid vender id"
I have looked about but need a bit more of a step by step guide.
Can you help please?

look into the wiki, seems to be a CID-lock, vender-lock problem..I've never had that problem, so no can help :\

I have Qtek 9000 with WM6,1 but is not good and i want to change it with
9000_WWE_13179_130176_10900_A2DP_MSFP.exe witch is 6.0 but when i starting shows ERROR 120 country.... what is the problem and how can I reslove that thingy. I hope someone can help with it
