Which rom? Help pls...

Hi Guys,
Ok, I have to admit that I'm lost. I don't know which ROM to choose but also I don't have time to try all of them
What I need:
- VGA (MUST HAVE)
- O2 UK settings (I'm using GPRS, don't need video calls, I'd like to have MMS!)
- BT
- stability (but actually I don't mind trying beta version and doing SR on the daily basis)
- speed
Ok, that's what I need. Anything extra is a bonus but I don't care about skins, look&feel etc. I like simple forms, fast, usable.
Can anyone help me please?
At this moment I'm considering Helmi's ROM or one of those PDAVIET's WM6 as possible candidates. I'm not sure, but somewhere I've seen that VGA hack doesn't work with newest HELMI's ROM.

if u want stability as the main priority you will have to setle for a 3.3/3.2 wm5 rom... either helmis or indiras
both of them are really excellent roms
if u want wm6 u can pick up helmis wm6. which i consider is very good... PDAVIET all versions are just mild modifications.. while the core rom remainsthe same in all of them
as far as vga mode is considered u can always install it as an add on

RADIO ROM IS VERY MUCH OPERATOR DEPENDANT... SO YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK IF 1.14 WORKS GOOD FOR YOU ELSE 1.13 IS A SAFE BET... IT WORKS GOOD
NO YOU DO NOT NEED NORMAL O2 ROM

Dear all, there are many version of WM6 in french version,
so which one do you advise me or which one is the best in term of performances, stabilities, etc...

Only WM6 in french are FAMAN versions as far as I know - go with his V3 (bugs fixed since V2)
SFR ROM and HTC ROMs are Wm5

Also, what about the HTC version? is it available or not?

WM5 only - WM6 is available on Dopod operator for SE Asia or ANZ. Not in Europe - no official WM6 ROM from Orange, SFR, HTC etc ... yet

Because which rom is best for you depends on your need/expectations etc.

Try them all 4 a week and then:
A. decide which one you want
or
B. as soon as you flash one that works flawless, stick with that one

Of course it is what i have tried, I wanted to confirm with other point of views and share different feelings.
My choise is clear : FAMAN 3.1 but I wanted to be sure that i have not forget any other software version.

I'm not quite sure if your question has been answered.
What I get is that you are looking for different opinions about the different roms. My advice is to go to the thread where the rom that you want to know about is published. There you can find all the opinions you want.

Questions about Windows Mobile 6 and P3600

Hello, I just bought a brand new P3600 and I've seen several "unofficial" WM6 roms on this Forum (some of them to be honest really *very good*). Now I'm wondering: does HTC plan to release an official upgrade to WM6 for P3600 users or we have to stick forever with these unofficial roms? The point is that I wanna avoid to spend days to install an unofficial WM6 rom (plus all the programs that I need) and then discover in a few days that HTC released an official update (and I need to format again..). Any suggestion? Thank you!

I have a suggestion - read the hard work that many have put into this forum, because your questions are answered here.
A few mouse clicks on the Trinity Mobile 6 pages would have found you this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=318225
also - know that dopod (asian and aus / nz carrier) is owned by HTC - so dopod ROMs are official HTC ROMs in some way.
Also, until the Official HTC ROM (if we ever see it) comes out - and is proven to be stable - I would recommend trying the cooked ROMs.
The dopod ROMs have many problems themselves - and if you read you'd probably choose a cooked ROM over an official dopod ROM at the moment!
I can flash a ROM and have all programs re-installed within 30 minutes (gather all you cabs and stick them on your mini SD card - and your install time will be next to nothing). Once you've done it a few times you'll see that it's not as time consuming as you might at first imagine!

Go with one of the Schaps Roms
Schaps has made great Roms for both 6.0 and now 6.1. His 6.1 is still a beta, I'm running it with no issues. Great Rom. You may want to hang on until he posts the final version of it (should be any day now, maybe over the weekend).
Just my two cents worth.
Installation instructions you'll find all over this forum. just search for it.

Hard to say which ROM is best as it depends on what software you want installed, reliability, performance etc
I have always been an admirer of Schaps, Pays, Black Satin to name a few
All this info can be found if you search these forums
Personally I am using Schaps 6.1 Beta, and looking forward to his full release which is due soon (been waiting now for a few weeks).

i have found Schaps 4.31 Lite is the best so far just straight up WM6 no 6.1

Thats exactly my point, each person has their own favourite, and this question has been asked 1000's of times in this forum

radio is the newest and best for me 1.54.30.10

I would prefer a german one, but i would also take a english one

I am also interested in a "good" german ROM.
Where did you pull the version information from? And when & where did you buy the TD? My TD (bought at amazon.de) is 2 weeks old and has the version 1.37.00.00 (seen suring startup)

I think you mean the diamond?... i got it from T-Mobile.
The Version information is from the ROM i flashed on my device

i already tried searching, but my problem is, that i can't see wich would be the best fitting rom for me... i don't know e.g. why to take elites or duttys...

in each cooked rom there is a list of removed/included applications, so depends on ur need u can choose the best rom for u!
all the cooked roms r very similar to the shipped roms there is no big differences.
i recommend u to stay with the original shipped rom and make some registry tweaks to improve performance.
