Reboot you device
After Reboot - Choose Voice Command
MS Voice Command will be the default voice command, so if you press cancel, it will be defaulted to MS Voice Command. However, If you do choose Cyberon Voice Command, you need to reboot.(Difference between these two kinds of voice command is that Cyberon voice uses voice-tags that you record, whereas ms voice command doesn't need you to record voice tags(but spoken language only support English)
After this, install the following has the keyboard has mapping problems:
eT9 with 14 languages suppport addon(spanish, french, german and italian)

Can someone tell me why whenever I use the USPL.bat and run all that crap on my phone, hit YES twice for haret.exe and all that, but the screen won't go black. It stays all white and I can't flash anything. Really getting on my nerves.
What I do for Flash this ROM:
run unlock.exe - for unlock the software
run the RUU exe
Everything else are "press any key", "Y/N", "Next" and that's all .
When the RUU exe works my screen is white.
EDIT: Haret is for official (no cooked) ROMS and maybe is not compatable with this rom

The easy way, in other words install T9 app copy to the Window directory and also install the JogBar app, check or uncheck mark the box "Enable xT9 input", soft reset your device OK, Click the "alt" key to get away from the chinese writting......!
How To Turn Your Device To English!
When you device comes back after you have installed the new 6.1 upgrade software, go to Start> Settings> #7(More)> #5(Regional Settings)> and change the Lanuage to: (US English), soft reset your device. When your device comes back up, it will be in (US English), but go back to the (Regional Settings) again, this time set the "Locale:" and set the "Short date style"! To write in English ( the easy way) install the T9 app to your device and copy it to the windows directory and install the JogBar App and check mark enable T9 text, soft reset your device, that's it..........!

Just make sure that once you hit enter and the screen on your phone goes white, you need to go to ActiveSync - Connection Settings - and disable USB Connections. Then proceed with setup.

first thing you have to do is install the application unlocker, then remove your microSD, then reboot your phone, then upgrade your phone

What are you trying to do exactly? Get the entry field/T9 in English? If that is your question, I didn't use the JogBar app was able to get mine in all English doing the following:
1) Hit alt-space when in some type of text-entry field.
2) Press up (Setup).
3) Select 2-EN (for English).
4) 'Display Candidates List' will pop up (Yes if you want them)
Then, when back in some type of text-entry field:
1) Hit alt-space, then
2) Press down on the pad (Lang), and
3) then Left (to select EN).
That worked for me. Make sure you have changed your regional settings in all areas as well and, as you mentioned, dropped the attached file into the windows folder.
Let me know if that works, if not, I'll rethink what steps I took.
The messaging shortcut (e.g. short_msg.lnk) is fixed to open up the text messaging. As I want the 'account picker' to be displayed, the link needed editing.
Here's the attachment. Just unzip and drop in your windows directory and replace the ROM's version. If you like it defaulting to the text messaging and don't care about the account picker, you don't need to do anything.

I've fix the MSG button in the original keyboard driver,so now you can map the MSG button to any app.just rename the app link name to short_MSG.lnk and put it into windows folder

Use this cab, and install to main memory. Fixed it for me although no items are shown in the PC Connection and Network Connection. I'm using it to tether while writing this e-mail. The original thread this came from is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1949360&postcount=644

Base on Brightpoint 1.33
Cause I'm a chinese,in china Excalibur call DopodC720W,so i change the name to DopodC720W,you can OverWrite the ModelName.txt in Windows folder to change the Module Name.

Using the Auto Installation Feature [optional]
Step 1: Preparing the cabs
---------------------------
- To use the auto installation features, the cabs must be set to "Read Only", must not have any "setup dll", and must have a "hard coded installation path" which means you should not be allowed an option to choose where to install the cabs.
- To set the cabs to a static path, install WinCECab Manager.
- Open a cab with WinCE Cab Manager and click on "CAB Information".
- Double click on "Default Install Dir" then select "Installation Directory" tab and choose "Do not allow user to select installation directory"
- Save the cab then right click on the cab and select "Read Only" and click apply/OK.
- Check if there "Setup dll" is present under Cab Information. If setup dll is present, delete it off.
- Check and prepare all the cabs you want to auto install and place them into the Cabs Folder.
Step 2: Editing the Config.txt file

- You will now need to add the file names into the config.txt file.
- Open up Config.txt in "Cabs" folder with Notepad.
- You should see the following content:

- Right click on the config.txt file and select Read Only.

- Auto installation will begin after the Rom completes its configuration

Q: What is the difference between this Rom and the Flexi Rom?
A: The Flexi Rom has better customize-ability in the sense that almost every app installed in the rom can be uninstalled from windows. However, there is a speed penalty for the extra flexibility. OTOH, this version of the Rom is the original K's Rom, with enhanced speed and stability. However, most of the apps are cooked-in and cannot be uninstalled from windows like the Flexi Rom.
Q: Hardware keyboard symbols are incorrectly mapped....
A: Default Layout is AT&T 8525's layout. You can change the layout with PHM Registry. Select the Keyboard layout shortcut and change the settings to:

A: By default, HTC album searches pictures in My Pictures and DCIM folder.

YouTube Package - TCPMP + Flash Video Bundle [Included in cabs folder] - Everything you need to start watching youtube and some other FLV sites. Simply browse to the FULL FLV website (NOT mobile version of those web sites) and watch all the videos you want. Clips can also be downloaded to the phone!
***NOTE: Most FLV websites are fully supported, some are not. Do not expect every single FLV site to work.
Other Hardkey Mapper - If you plan to use other hardkey mapper i.e. spb/AE button plus, you may need to remove PTT Fix and do a soft reset before the other app could work.
HTC Equalizer 1.0.2 - Requires headphone to be plugged in before it can work. There is a bug with headphone equalizer whereby the bottom taskbar may disappear, leaving only the keyboard icon intact. It does not affect the functions, but it is annoying. This bug is found on all headphone equalizer I know out there. Hence....it will not be cooked into the rom but available as a stand alone.
illumsoft Screen Capture v1.1 - This is what I used to take the screenshot, the app icon is seen in one of the pictures but it is not cooked in. When the app is running, Button1 (sms hard key) is mapped to take screenshot. You can also set timer and etc. FREEWARE!

if you would release optionally a cleaner rom (without BT Explorer, Flashlight, VoiceRecorder, WM5torage, SmsBackup, SuperBright, PHM Registry, Internet Sharing, Soft-Reset Shortcut, ArcSoft MMS, AdobePDF, Adobe Reader, FlashLitePlayer, Pocket RAR, StreamingMedia, ...) and provide cabs for those tools then it would be perfect!
The rom is built on NetCF 2.0. I have updated the page with microsoft NetCF 3.5 beta 1 link if you wish to download NetCF 3.5. I will cook it in on the next release.
I didn't plan on releasing a lite rom since there were already so many lite roms out there, but removing those apps is easy so I will likely release a lite rom along with an update shortly.
Schen's 3G kaiser dialer is the only dialer that is 100% bug free from all the kaiser dialer that I've tested. If you use the 2G kaiser dialer, or any dialer directly ported from the elf, there is an issue with missing texts when you enter letters and numbers at the same time into the dialer. Again, I didn't want to use anything that is buggy, this rom has been personally tested thoroughly by me to ensure there is virtually no bugs that'd affect daily usage. Also, I wanted to cook in the video dialer because that'd make life easier for the folks with hermes that support video dialing. For us folks in the NA, it really doesn't matter if the dialer is 3G or 2G just dont use the video button
Also, I strongly recommend people to change the pagepool to 6mb prior to flashing the rom, it is very easy to do so with the pagepool changer.

intriguing, may I ask, what did you use as the base ROM? I've been trying too cook a Kaiser style ROM (with the dialer, com manager, etc. you feature) based on Schaps 4.20 with little succuess, and this ROM seems pretty close (I'm flashing as soon as I can to test it out). Thank you for your work!
i played with it for a bit last night, and this rom seems to actually be gaining me about 5-10 FPS in Pocket GNUBoy (GBC emulator) coming from shamanix's grass 1.3.
seems pretty snappy in other things, but ill keep using it for a couple days.

Using the Auto Installation Feature
Step 1: Preparing the cabs
---------------------------
- To use the auto installation features, the cabs must be set to "Read Only", must not have any "setup dll", and must have a "hard coded installation path" which means you should not be allowed an option to choose where to install the cabs.
- To set the cabs to a static path, install WinCECab Manager.
- Open a cab with WinCE Cab Manager and click on "CAB Information".
- Double click on "Default Install Dir" then select "Installation Directory" tab and choose "Do not allow user to select installation directory"
- Save the cab then right click on the can and select "Read Only" and click apply/OK.
- Check if there "Setup dll" is present under Cab Information. If setup dll is present, delete it off.
- Check and prepare all the cabs you want to auto install and place them into the Cabs Folder.
Step 2: Editing the Config.txt file
-----------------------------------
- You will now need to add the file names into the config.txt file.
- Open up Config.txt in "Cabs" folder with Notepad.
- You should see the following content:

- Simply Add the name of the cabs you prepared earlier into this file and click "save".
- Right click on the config.txt file and select Read Only.

- Auto installation will begin after the Rom completes its configuration

Q: Hardware keyboard symbols are incorrectly mapped....
A: Default Layout is AT&T 8525's layout. You can change the layout with PHM Registry. Select the Keyboard layout shortcut and change the settings to:

A: This is a known issue with the current keyboard driver, you can map hotvoice to any other buttons but button 5.
Q: My GPRS/MMS is not working
A: Install Connection Setup cab. Go into settings -> connection tab -> connection setup, and setup your operator.
Q: After playing with Advanced Config/SK tools with this rom, the beam button in Comm Manager disappeared!
A: Add the missing button back from Advanced config. Button 10 = "Beam" or don't use those tools.
Q: I can't save pocket outlook attachments to storage card.
A: Make sure Extended Rom is hidden.
Q: How do I close apps? clicking on "X" only minimizes the apps (LITE ONLY)

Is the path 'Storage Card\Cabs\' hardcoded? How does the OS find the config.txt file?
Nice job K. Seems to be hanging in the install of TCPMP, I hard reset and tried again, same thing. I will install the cab manually after a reset.
Edit: Looks like the path is not hard coded hence the hang. Easy fix. Great fast ROM.

My install looked like it hung on TCPMP too, but after much patience, it did finish.
However, I think I mucked up the auto CAB install by not putting the config.txt file in the right spot. Must figure out...
Other thoughts -- I had to download the Connection Setup cab from the 1.30a thread as it's not part of this package? Once I ran that, data connection is config'd correctly (for AT&T/US).

BTW, is there any other tool for preparing cabs for auto install other than WinCE cab manager?
Some cabs take longer than the others to install, they will look like they are frozen but they will move after awhile (i.e. htc home). Also, the included TCPMP has a much nicer icon hope you guys like it. I should also change WMP's icon one day.
I'm not sure what else can you use to change the folder path, but if you have trouble changing some of the cabs, you can upload the files here and I'd have them changed. Also, do note that cabs that prompts an option after installation i.e. illumsoft screen capture will not auto install.

Yeah, the TCPMP.CAB is hanging near end of install. As stated, it needs to be unmarked as Read only, tweaked with the WinCE Cab Manager and modified to not allow user to select installation directory, save, then mark as read only again and move to the storage card\cabs to replace original.
EDIT: Kin0kin: I waited about 3 minutes and it was still hung. After making the change above, it flew through the install without the hang. I recommend making this change and repackage the download.

As I am a Chinese and use 0404 rom for my winmo 6.0, HTC menu enhancement cannot support Chinese characters. The error is as follows:

Usung the font .ttf is a good thing to have a good and beautiful display.
However not everyone would like to install a 22MB file to the phone.
But I find out that the loading time of the menu is related to the HTC_MENUS.bmp size. So it is better for qvga machine to use the qvga one as the HTC_MENUS required is with a small size i.e. 100kb/

- Add .cab that menu without arrow (VGA/WVGA only) from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=60620.
I tried the cab, but there is still arrow on the menu.
- Support winmo 6.5 by adjusting the cab (VGA/ WVGA only)
HTC Rhodium 6.5 Menu Enhancement.cab from dharvey4651 It seems that the cab made for winmo 6.5 will be without arrow.
All the cabs from dharvey4651 are not workable. Therefore, i cannot adjust it.

I think the character block problem is due to the font htcmenu uses, which doesn't include Chinese characters.
Simply, in regestry, just change the current font used in htc menu (or other programs have the issue) to microsoft Yahei or any fonts that you've installed to support Chinese. Then do a reset, and the problem will be fixed!
This is how I fix this issue no need to install additional cabs

--go to eclair_fs/ and delete the modules-2.6.27-00330-f485082e.tar (name differ with version) and the "zImage" files.
--untar (with winrar or whatever) in your eclair_fs/ the two files.
--rename the zImage.00000000 (figures as the build date) in "zImage" (without quotes).
-- leave the modules-2.6.27-00710-g485083e.tar you have just extracted with the same name.

go to eclair_fs/startup-configs and make sure you have a DIAM100.txt (or whatever DIAMx00 you have, retrieve DIAMx00.txt).

Some bugs are yet to be resolved so to make sure you won't have to reboot again, make sure under Windows Mobile you have:

-disable whatever special state you put your phone in.

HARD RESET (assuming you did saved your contacts what so ever. I highly recommend saving your contacts by Gmail Exchange server (m.google.com) or with MS MyPhone.

yes, it works...you just have to change the startup file acording to your device.
There is already a startup file for the diamond. This works very well
Dont expect it to be a complete replacement for windows just yet. GPS and Camera do not work but thats minor.

Android does not boot on my device.It says "failed to find system.img on sdcard".Though a system.sqsh file is present in internal storage.I renamed it to system.img then too it fails with same error message.

Best try for yourself. I found it to be a little annoying to use (much like most Linux machines i've used before). It sometimes seems a little laggy, and I couldnt work out how to turn my phone off since the power button just brings up a menu. Also my phone kept locking and I had to fiddle to get it unlocked again.
I'm not exactly sure how it runs on the phone. If it runs on top of my current rom then my experiences could be down to lack of RAM. When I did a soft reset my Windows ROM booted up and I've been using that until I can get a chance to play again.
Also, I am on O2 UK. I must need to get my 3G settings from somewhere because I couldnt get on the internet under linux.
I will definately be playing some more and will see about using it as a propper phone OS, once I get my contacts on my sim, and I get WWW working. It's very good IMO

One good thing is that after a reboot it boots on WM, so you could try android and have your Windows back after a reboot =)

It doesn't boot with me.
I use a custom WM6.1 ROM (AZTOR WWE).
I copied all files and updates to the internal storage.
When I start HaRET from the explorer it shows a progressbar saying:
HaRET: Booting Linux ...
on the bottom of my screen is a second titlebar (from Windows) that shows me a Windows Start button, the text 'HaRET Version...' , a keyboard and all the icons I have in my titlebar (reception, volume, 3G icon...)
The progressbar doesn't get past (about) 95% and then everything freezes.
Anyone any idea? Do I need to stop TouchFlo or something?

So this is now working in the sense that I can make a call and the microphone and ear piece now work?
I tried Android a few months ago and the only benefit I could see was that it ran and loaded but none of the phone hadrware was usable or a ***** to get gprs working.

WiFi works when the network you want to connect to has WPA2 key encryption.

So far I've figured out that the End Key is the power button; it puts it to sleep (which takes a while to wake up from).
The power button is Home or whatever it's called on Android; it takes you to the desktop.
Home key is menu button and is used to unlock, you can wake the phone up with either power button or menu button but then menu to unlock, sometimes you have to press it a couple of times.
Call button still seems to be call; it brings up the call log from the desktop.
I'm liking what I've seen so far; it's very intuitive. I haven't got 3G internet working though :-(.

The simple bitmap ones work but Opengl ones just make the phone crash.
I can't wait to see this on a phone with the Tegra chip on.
Don't understand why When I set the sound to Vibrate. Bejewed still plays sound. It's Cool though
I accidentally started the Voice dialler which also crashed but it's cool. GPRS Data is working

Here we go again. Sorry about the earlier version with unstable dailer and a bumpy start. The Reloaded Edition comes with the same dailer in ROM 2.7a which I managed to port so that it work with Windows Phone 6.5.5 series. This Dailer is true VGA dailer so there would be no scroll-bar and there is no need to use phcanvga.exe file to position the dailer like in WVGA port dailer. Any issues, problems, or suggestions, please reply to this thread. MTTY is highly recommended.
This is a full-featured ROM. An attempt to replicate the look and feel of the HTC official ROM because HTC stopped supporting Diamond series. Users who look for customization or cheesy modifications, please use other ROMs. Those who want and enable Sense 2.5 should expect high memory consumption. Do Not Complain about memory with Sense. [Requirements]

[Known Issues]
1. HTC Volume Control (No Longer Work with 6.5.5) - Under Research
Alternative solution is SetVolume App here on XDA. This is similar to HTC Volume Control.
I think Windows Phones Volume Control is enough to use, it is ugly though but saves RAM.
2. HTC Sensor SDK 4: 95% Working. G-Sensor works perfectly. But, Screen Rotation function
does not work with 6.5.5 fully. Tested Applications that automatically rotates are:
Album, Sense, IE Mobile, Resco Photo Album
If you want full screen rotation, please try third party solution such as FlipIt, GSen, etc.
I am waiting for HTC solution which is soon to be released.
3. After flashing or soft reset, please allow a moment for the ROM to complete it start up task.
Don't jump in and use and blame that the ROM is slow and unresponsive.
4. Install Google Maps and Opera by yourself. They are intentionally left out so you can obtain the
latest version. Especially, Opera 10 now allows you saving a bunch of device memory by installing
to Internal Storage. Highly recommend using Opera 10.
5. Titanium will be default because it consumes significantly less memory. Like Sense 2.5? Enable
in Settings -> Today
6. Sense 2.5 easily consumes all memory. Luckily Sense 2.5 consists of many modules. Therefore,
you can have a good experience with sense 2.5 by disabling unused or uninterested tabs.
The top candidate Tabs to be disabled are: Music, Picture (Photo). Each of them alone consumes
5MB+ of RAM.
7. HTC Message:
a) When writing a new message, you can add as many recipients as you like at the To: Field. Just press
that field, then type in the person name, then choose him or her. Repeat again for another recipient
until done. The Menu -> Add Recipient is not working right now due to limitation in the ported version.
But that is the solution.
8. MMS Server Settings:
Because Connection Setup 3.1 ported is not working well and in big size. Therefore, it cannot be used
to cook this rom. To use MMS with HTC Message, you have to manually copied MMS Server Settings to HTC
Message.
1st Step: Go to inbox of an email account, press Menu button, scroll up then choose MMS Option, Then
choose Servers Tab, Click on the MMS Name in the box to show the settings, copy everything to a piece
of paper.
2nd Step: Now open HTC Message, Menu -> Settings -> Options -> Press Menu Button Again -> MMS Server
-> Press on [+] to add a new MMS Server Settings -> Type in all info copied earlier -> Press Done ->
Now Set your new MMS Server as default.
9. Want Original Windows Phone 6.5.5 SMS Inbox?
There is a cab that can disable HTC Message. Search "Sense 2.5 1921" thread. It is in 4-5th posts.
10. Want to change Keyboard?
Well, touch the Keyboard Icon in the lower bar, hold for 2 seconds, release, then a window will pop
up, allow you to change keyboard.
11. Want to use original sms client?
It can be done by a registry tweaks. There is a cab here some where here on XDA that can disable HTC Message.

13MB (80-90% mem consumption) is when you have everything full load on with Photo and Music on. Each of them costs you 5MB+. Total 10MB+. If you disable Music and Photo. You get 26 MB free.
To use Sense and want 40MB to 60MB free? either you never use sense or you must be dreaming. Please use other ROM then.

Diamond was born not for Sense - that's all
Just installed this rom and love how fast it is, was using Chris101a 2012 rom before but I had to do some customisation to it then had to flash again .
Got a problem with this thos that after every soft reset the phone hard resets it self, might be that i need to mtty one something so will have a search about for some info.
Thanks for your hard work on the rom, love the titanium, with htc extras. perfect combination if you ask me.

I test this dailer at hard reset. The dailer works fine. I don't notice any problem. I am not sure that there is any third party software that causes the problem you encountered. So be careful with old software out there which may replace system resources.
The dailer is a ported version of WVGA device. I am still researching and working on it to make it perfect all the time. From my knowledge about this dailer, Here are possible solution:
1) soft-reset to cure the problem. After soft-reset allows a moment for the all software to loaded at startup.
2) Or you can try to run this link \Windows\_phcanvga.lnk (it is in the second place in File Explorer - Windows Folder) -> This shortcut run the positioning software for the dailer. The idea is too restart the positioning software. When you tap to run it, it will show "Terminated .." message. That means the software is shut down. Then, you need to run it again. The dailer will work well again.
3) If it still does not work, hard reset or use other dailer such as Yota Phone Dailer which can be found here on XDA.

You need to choose the Band that suitable for your country 3G network. But, you phone needs to support that band. It is all about your phone's radio.

good rom - but HTC Message is so terrible ( with me ).
I have more than 200 messages with one person- after recover with pim-backup, it take me a long time to view all messages -but they look like mess ( overlap graphic with text ) and unreadable.
I think that's htc message's fault - not yours - but I must change to another rom.

find a cab to disable htc message will solve your problem. It will revert back to stock sms client
