I've installed in my spanish N520 (changing country code previously). At the moment, all is right! I love you, I love misar, I love cmonex, I love freepk... .
One only question, have you in mind to release this rom in another language (maybe spanish)?

Hello! WM6 are wonderfull but I have a problem with flashing of my N520. The ROM uprageding is successfully finished but I can not open any image (Error: Cannot load file). That is the reason why I do not see text on Today screen - the wallpaper is white and the text is white too. Then I do not see the control panel in WM Player because the skins are pictures too (I think). The same problem is with start-up logo - I only see white screen.
Do you have any idea why this is happened? Or do you have any possibility how to resolve this problem? The flashing has been done in WinXP, Active Sync 4.5 (firstly Host mode and then Partnership mode too). Previously version of WM was originaly ROM of FS, then I tried to flash AKU 3.5 - there was no problem and after that I tried upgrade to WM6 - but the problem always exist. :-( Please, help me! O

I don`t know what happens. you should flash aku 3.5.2. anyhow on your n500/520,try wm6. if it works - use.if no images - flash wm5

So I flashed aku 3.5.2. and everything works fine. After that I tried to upgrade to WM6 but there was always problem with images. So I have flashed back to aku 3.5.2. :-(

does this rom mean that there is a big chance on the wm6 image releasnig for the N560?

N560 was certified by Bluetooth.org for bluetooth 2.0 (link). From the information I gathered, Fujitsu-Siemens went back to bluetooth 1.2 at the time due to backward compatibility issues by all bluetooth 2.0 devices. This problem has been solved nowadays and Windows Mobile devices now have bluetooth 2.0, such as the T830. I have a strange feeling the N560 and T830 uses the same bluetooth chipset. Since you guys have more knowledge on Windows Mobile devices, can you perhaps look into creating a bluetooth 2.0 driver for N560?
Here is a bit more info on this matter.

i am having a issue with windows live.. It always wants to use a phone connection.. It doesn't use the default internet connect, e.g. BT or WIFI or AS..
is this configurable?

I have been using the wm6 rom for 24 hours now and would like to say that it seriously speeds up my machine.
I would almost say that it is twice as fast..

The today and hold, to rotate doesn't work.. I get a shortcut error.. I do not see any of the other software..
As i am typing.. this is probably a different rom.. haha.. Excuse me

Now i am in trouble..
I tried to flash the N560 with gprs but my machine went BLUESCREEN.. IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
It was still in transfer mode when my laptop rebooted..
On the 2 bars the top one has like 10%..
I don't know what to do to save my pda?

as by-product of my ROM porting (german) for Asus P525 and testing the Windows Mobile Emulator ROM Kitchen I made a new WWE Rom for our beloved P525. It is a OS CE 5.2.20273 build with AKU 1.3.3.
NOTE: The ROM released on 07.08.2008 is UC (User Customization) Compliant. This means that the ROM itself contains no user apps. To generate your own ROM customization config I recommend using SDConfigGen.
For any information about UC configuration see the How-To.
Note: The left softkey is on New SMS as default (can be changed using Start -> Settings -> System -> Soft Key.

*Copy BootGalaxy.nb0 to your Mini SD-Card.

*Press Record + reset. The bootloader will be updated. When finished...
Press Camera button + reset. You should now see the bootloader working.
Wait until you see Press Power Button and Reset....
Restart your P525 using reset

If you have done that allready in a previous upgrade/update you can skip that.

Hey! Thanx for this rom. I updated using the mentioned steps, although i got update failed message at the end.... but the firmware tells me its 07* and i get the wm6.1 boot screen+interface. Dunno if anything has gone wrong or not (so far everything seems to work fine.. came/ring/etc).

I've tested 2 weeks, it works fine overall.
My little comments here :
1.) No word completion for handwriting (but it works for T9).
2.) No xT9
( for 1 & 2 , actually just a registry setting & make word completion available for keyboard / block recognize & xT9 got it's own word completion, T9 either can be removed to save space )
3.) Registry still can be trim (got little extra unused keys)
4.) Memory leak is a problem, normal use only, with all applications closed with task manager after use , always remain @ 20MB~21MB free (maybe it's problem of 20273, i not sure, i just compare it to Alex/sp3dev's UL WM6.1 19581 Rom which normally remain between 23MB~26MB , same applications usage)
5.) Signal (power) can be strengthened.
Hope to see more enhancements on this rom. Cheers !!

What does this ROM give you?
1. Just plain same experience you can expect with HTC Original ROM. That is the point. It hard to find a ROM without some cheesy customization here. You will get Windows Phone 6.5 build 21854 (the fastest and most stable build) and Touch Flo 3D v2 functions such as manila, Notification, Wifi, Contact Card, and etc..
2. About 60MB to 70MB Free Available on Device Storage (not Internal Storage), 69% Memory Used.
3. Microsoft Default Titanium UI is still there. If you ever get bored with TouchFlo 3D, you can always enable it.
4. Adobe Flash Installed
5. Voice Commander Installed (you can dial numbers by speaking out the digits.)
6. Optional support for Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese (very light weight cabs). Manila, Explorer, WMP, and other programs will display these languages correctly after you install the cabs.
Disclaimer:
I will take no responsibility for any damage to your device(s). Please research the forum for the flashing procedures. A HardSPL is definitely needed before installing this new ROM. Flash at your own risk.

Some Notes
For those of you who often flash and reflash many different ROMs, sooner or later, you may encounter Diamond Hard Reset itself issue as people mention in the forum pin-pointed topic. This is nothing wrong with the cooked ROM. It is just because each cooked ROM has its own size. Some are bigger. Some are smaller. When you you flash a smaller ROM to a device with bigger ROM, there are left-over junk of the old ROM still in your device. For unknown reason, you may encounter that problem. But, don't be panic just yet.
It can be solved by "task 29" of MTTY. This task will format the ROM area, to make it clean before you install a new ROM. If you encounter the problem, it is the solution.
For advanced users: in fact, I recommend you doing that before installing any rom. Search the forum, you can learn how to do it. Very easy.

I won't be using your rom(probably), but thanks for this japanese font cab - I always had to copy and add registry manually (i don't know how to make a cab myself), and this cab helps avoiding this, nice job!

Thanks a lot Satus for making this. It's much more responsive than the HTC Rom, I love Manilla v2 and winmo6.5 is way better, It's even fixed a couple of bugs I was having. I love the wallpaper as well so I'll be stealing that.

Thanks for this ROM, I completely agree with you. Customisations of the tasbar, 6.5 Start Menu icons, and absolutely anything in TouchFLO 3D are extremely irksome.

@speedy_peter: My device's buttons are working fine.
Don't know about your problem though. May be junk from the old rom still left over in your device??? Try the button configuration utility. If not, try other ROM. But, if the problem still persists, use MTTY as I've mentioned in my note.
@GXFX: the rom is fast and stable now with tflo3d 2.
I will update to 2.1 after Microsoft officially announces the release of Windows Phone 6.5.

satus, the back button works in the explorer but it doesn't work with manila (it used to work with the old manila I guess) anyways I can live with that

CamLoader unloads camera drivers at startup and loads them only when you run Camera application. If you close Camera application, CamLoader will unload camera drivers automatically.

Your rom is fast and stable and only thing that missing is m2d.

Simply the best rom ever. Not for the ram.... Not for the speed... But because it can connect to my uni's wifi through cache! congrats dude! Only thing missing if i may say so is Quick GPS as the SeaSGEE doesnt update, at least i think so.

Hi,
When i tried to flash the rom i got error [228]: invalid file size.
I was trying with RUU utility from my pc.
Please advice.

You need to flash SPL 1.11.cmon first, or you can flash my ROM from memory card.

hey andre i am not able to connect internet in my artemis through dial up from others mobile after flashing your rom becouse bluetooth option is not available in add a new modem connection under connection tab of your rom. so please do something for this problem it is very argent.

Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer or format it from your computer using a card reader, make sure to format in FAT32 and not FAT although in some cases format doesn't work, also it is only necessary to format if your first attempt at flashing fails
Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract.
Rename the .NBH file to ARTEIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your microSD card.
With microSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Power & Record buttons and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side), keep both buttons pressed after releasing the reset button.
You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the volume slider down.
Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts. After the flashing process is complete, it will tell you to press any button to continue. After this the bootloader screen with its red/green/blue color is shown. Just reset the device and it will boot the new ROM.
SuperCID devices are able to flash any NBH image using this method.

Instuction
1. Full Charging/ Power off
2. Go to download mode by Pass and hold Task ball and Endkey then pass Power on
3. Plug in USB this shuld pop up found new hardware
3. Install USB Driver
4. then check what port has been detect by
Control Panal/System/Hardware/Device Manager/Com Port/ and look for number of Attila port (ex: My port is 22)
5. Flash Chinese Rom after it done
6. Flash Motorola Surf A3100 6.5.3 WWE biuld 23563_by Chai2porn
After first boot Please Clean boot once by Pass and hold Send/End key and then Power on

For this ROM even it has three home screen, It doesn't matter with RAM problem.
You should try it.
But it you've try this ROM and still want clean one, just PM me I will.

Do I have to sign up at pdagismo to download anything? Not to mention I don't read Thai at all. For that reason can you make sure there is a version with NO Thai at all?

Locate, download and install Studio KUMA Chinese support pack. I bought my A3100 as English (yes it was from HK too) and never had Chinese handwriting support. KUMA gave me that too.
