I am trying to find out the solution how to change the names of application with touchflo settings. When I run App Launcher I can see 6 options: email,sms/ems, ie, tasks, comm manager and calender.
I do not know how to change the names. The same situation with MediaHub options: music, photos, videos - how to change the names.
The last question about touchflo is how to activate it for a longer time. I mean no to push "windows" every time I come out from touchflo.

Hey all,
I've just tried installing the latest version of Quickmenu. Has anyone else tried this piece of software? I was going to say excellent but unfortunately after a while my entire top bar (Start, Task Manager, Custom Notification icons, Signal level etc...) is no longer responding.
The only fix is power cycle. I can't even do a soft reset through SPB Mobile Shell. SPB Mobile shell is still responding and I can select the soft reset icon but I just get the spinning windows busy logo and then I'm back where I was.
Is there another Start Menu replacement that can give cascading menus like Quickmenu? I'm not fussed about all the extra bells and whistles just a cascading menu program would suffice.
Anyone else out there using anything on their Blackstone (Touch HD) ??
I've got it installed on mine... orange uk. Works a charm. I've also got sdk certs and topbar icons... but qm2.7 seems pretty stable. maybe you got something clashing? Can't really help 'cept to say it does work so keep trying.

Drivers\InputBufferSize -> 512 (default is 4096)
Drivers\OutputBufferSize -> 512 (default is 4096)
Drivers\SleepOnNoData -> 100 (default is 1000)
Multiplexer\MaxBufferSize -> 512 (by default not present, you have to create it)
With those tweaks pedestrian usage will be much better but not perfect.

just to confirm the reg edit for the extra camera options works fine
Any way to edit the stereo bluetooth settings? I used to use Advanced Config for that, but it doesn't seem to work for the Touch Pro 2. Probably because of the new bluetooth stack.
Sound will come through my Sony DS980 headphones, but the quality isn't really good. How to raise the bitpool?

Just as a warning, I'm not sure what I did but after messing around with some settings, everytime I made or received a call and it connected, I could not hear the other party and vice versa. Fixed this by setting all the phone volume settings in HDtweak back to default and uninstalling HD tweak - I later reinstalled it but didn't touch the volume settings and it works fine now.
Don't know what I messed with but becareful as something caused my call functions to stop working properly.
I had to do hard reset after using some HDTweak features - system didnt boot - got stucked on green loading screen. So watch out. I have no idea which specific feature caused that.

Did the same myself, I turned the Volume up from 100db to High - stopped it from working.
got a quick question wondering if any1 knows the solution
when you go thru the tf3d menu and you get to the messages tab it shows the last text you've recieved
is there a way to turn this off, i.e it not showing the last text recieved but a plain icon or something else

In relation to this, does anyone know how to decrease the time limit for when the new sms icon dissapears?
IE: I noticed if I get a new message it shows a (1) next to the message icon. I flip to it, read it quick and flip out. the (1) remains there unless I leave the message screen on for a few seconds before moving on, problem is I'm used to reading messages alot quicker than that.
or at least I believe that's what causing it.

I installed Easy Launcher which puts short cuts on your today screen. I want to install a shortcut for the Settings-> Personal ->Phone. One day I will buy some software (maybe someone knows of some for free), but everyday at work I set my phone to no ring, and at the end of the day I want to set it back to ring. A short cut on my today screen would help.

Why not just use the hardware volume button. Press it up or down, the HTC volume screen appears, select SILENT, and you are done! Or you could set it to vibrate.
I listen to music all day on head phones. I need the volumne up for the music but do not want the phone ring in my cubicle environment. Especially if I get up, leave my desk, and my phone has been ringing nobody appreciates it.

Well, you could disable the HTC Notifications manager. Then you would have the old-style dialogs for your data connection and volume. I mention it because the stock WM dialogs have separate volume controls for Phone and Device.
It is a registry tweak where you change the name of the dll file to something different. When you reset the notifications should be stock instead of HTC.

local machine / services / notificationmanager / Dll.
Change it from NotificationManager.dll to NotificationManager2.dll and reset the device. If it works, when you click on the speaker icon in the task bar, you should get a dialog for just the volume.
I haven't tried this with my particular version of WM 6.5.x, but it worked on the stock WM 6.5.

I have a script which automatically change backlight settings every morning and evening.
it's very similar thing, you only need to change values for registry entries in it.
Suppose on rhodium volume could be change directly through registry.
or you may find it on xda or I'll send it if you want.
