Need help please with IE - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

Okay just list the what i have done, first its a 8525, I have cid unlocked it as well as sim unlocked, I loaded the latest Att wM 6 rom ,radio is the 1.54 and everthing worked, then the HTC weather quit , next the Internet Explorer quit and my pop mail. Called Cincy Bell, got the Email working with them resetting something on there end.
phone works great
But no internet .....now I could use Wifi and it worked.
So i loaded opera mini, and now it would work, i could surf using my data plan.
but still no HTC weather updates.
So I decided to try a new ROM to see if that would make a difference .
So I went for Vp3g's Rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334946
Loaded it, fired it up , got my mail set up and working, and the HTC weather works great, but still no Internet Explorer.
I tried to load Opera mini, but I could not find a the Midi manger to try that.
So does anyone have any ideas? could my Sim card be corrupted?
Please help me with this, I have been searching for answers but have not found any on this.
Thanks in advance guy's

With my ROM you may need to disable the proxy (you'll find it in Programs) in order for IE to work. I've never heard of Cincy Bell, but I'm guessing it's something other than AT&T.

Thank you very much Nates,
I am now a very happy camper!!! that did the trick.
One more question for you , which Midi manger do you prefer that I use? I still want try to use Opera Mini...

My Artemis doesn't connect to the network anymore!

Suddenly my HTC P3300 doesn't connect to the Orange network.
I had the phone for over a month and now doesn't work anymore.
I have an italian SIM card and it works perfectly.
If I choose the automatic connection, the device keep searching forever, if I choose the manual, can't connect.
Not sure what happen here, Any ideas?
I'v tried soft, hard reset upload a new ROM, nothing!
Sounds more like a service provider issue than a phone issue.
Put the original ROM back in and then go to the nearest Orange store and tell them the problem.
I thought the same, but I think that there is something wrong with the actual device... If I try to choose any other available network that is not Tmobile, doesn't work..
Where did you buy your phone from?
It was a brand new? or 2nd hand
did U upload a pdamobizROM? If yes did U tried to restore anything from any bkup(sunnysoft, sprite, spb ....)I mean ie contacts or appointments ...?
If yes try other rom i found this prob with this rom. after restoring any bkup, it stops to connect to network(phone at least)
Yups same problem i have encountered with PDAMozbiz 1.1.2 ROM and am seeking help ..... is there anyone who can dedicate some of his precious time to help me out on this?

Sorted my internet is working now i searched on here and it was a problem with Orange yesterday not my phone, only one pronlem left the test only not for sale screen anyone help
Try flashing other official ROM found here at XDA.
That should fix it, I think the ROM you downloaded is a test ROM, maybe it got per accident on the HTC site.
What version is it?

Offical WM6.5 WWE ROM + AT&T Tilt2 working well so far

I was really annoyed at how the bloatware seems to be baked in now, and the old hard reset/soft reset trick doesn't work anymore to skip the carrier's cruft.
I decided to take the plunge and try out the recent official 6.5 WWE ROM on my new Tilt2. HardSPL'ed no problems, dumped the stock ROM, and flashed the WWE ROM. Just followed the instructions in the other threads and had no issues (Running Win7 x64 RTM on the PC)
Recovered over 100MB of rom space - after the WWE ROM it went down to 59MB used and 200MB free. Put my ATT SIM after the flashing back in, the device autoconfigured everything and connected to HSPDA right away. Only other thing I had to do was install the keyboard cab that I found here to correct the layout (sure the OK key doesnt work, but I can live with that)
One oddity is that the Youtube client works great on WiFi, but not over ATT's 3G. Maybe I need to try a different APN? (It auto configured MediaNet)

Internet not working after root

Hi all,
I tried posting this in the Pays thread, but I think it's more a generic problem, so hopefully you can help...
I first made root on my Desire using Pauls guide. With this new image installed, I could access my Gmail by typing in the right APN for my company (TDC in Denmark).
However, neither Exchange nor Android Market works anymore. I simply cannot connect to either service.
I thought it was a ROM-issue, so I installed Pays ROM v. 1.1. But still, same problem. Gmail works fine, but no internet, no Exchange sync and no Market.
This is really annoying. I have the 'H' sign for HSDPA blinking in the top, but nothing happens when I try to connect.
Heeeeelp - what might cause this problem?
Solved it by installing Pauls MoDaCo ROM.
So if anyone experiences this problem, try installing the MoDaCo ROM; have no idea what solved it, though...

Please Help !!!

I have just recently got an G4 xda exec, fully unlocked and i have upgraded to TML 8.7.1 and i have also got a 3 sim, but when i put my 3 sim card in the device it says that it is an orange sim
I have tried with my other sim card and that is perfect but it is not a 3g sim so i really want 3g to work
Any Ideas ???
Have you run the Connection Setup? I can't remember if TML871 has built one in his ROM or if it's auto-run. Either way, if you run it again, you should be able to select 3sim instead of orange.
Trying that now, it did have that setting, and i have not tried that one before
EDIT: I have tried to do that, it still says orange and when i go into the connection setup it says error with the database
I have had another look at it and it shows that i am on roming signal, but when i was on wm5 it showed UTMS when i put the sim in, so if it is just my signal or not i do not know
but thanks for the help anyway
ALls I can think is to try a different ROM, and see if it's a problem with Tomal's ROM. It would switch to roaming if it can't find your network and goes through another one (eg Orange). Are you still using the same Radio that you did with WM5? Perhaps you should try another Radio - people seem to like 1.15.
Or... find a .CAB with your network settings and just install by hand. I had some problems with settings provided in various ROMs, so always carry Voda NZ .CAB on my SD. Just in case
i have tried using different settings, so i am now trying a different 6.1 ROM to see if it is a problem with this rom
Thanks for everyone's help
I Have been able to fix the problem, i have used the AllmostOfficial 1.2 Professional rom and I went into the phone options and then network and manually selected 3 off the list in preferred networks and added it onto the list and now it works
Thanks for everyone's help and support as well as the good availability of the site.
