Backup Battery indicator vanishes and reappears

Hello Everyone
I have an MDA III and frequently I get a message telling me the Backup Battery is Low. When I check this under the Power settings the Backup Battery Indicator is gone - I can only see the main battery indicator. Periodically if I check the backup battery status it will reappear for no reason. Has anyone else experienced this or is there a fix or upgrade for this problem?

Are you using BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship.exe rom as well?

my BA did this when the battery was loose. I had to send it in for repairs.
This was a long long long time ago tho.

yup! probably there's something loose in your pda because whenever I would open the casing of my xda 2s then close it, after turning the power on there's a notification that my backup battery is low and after sometime when i check the backup battery, it goes back normal.

Battery status at 100% permanently

Hi, I know that other threads have touched the problem but I wasn't lucky to find a solution: after approx. five days of Orbit bepe's WM6 usage suddenly the battery status indicator became stuck with 100%. I use BatteryStatus but for example SPB Plus has the same issue.
Any solution please?

Hmmm, it's really strange: it seems that overnight the battery status indicator came back to normal?! I have found that others has reported in other threads the same: "suddenly" the behavior was correct. If not, the battery status indicator is long time at 100%, then suddenly drops to e.g. 25% and then battery is quickly without power.
In fact, not so big pain (again, I am so happy with bepe's WM6, thanks a lot), only you may not be sure sometimes about your real battery status. Hard reset is reported to solve the issue...

Battery status indicator bar slow to appear... sometimes

Is it normal for the battery status bar to be a little slow to appear on the power tab in settings sometimes? It's a bit hit and miss, sometimes it does it, sometimes not. Mostly does this after bringing the phone out of standby, getting a little annoying.

Mine was always instant using the stock rom.
Have just checked it on the custom rom i'm using and don't have that issue on this rom either.
What % of memory is it sitting at? (Mine rarely gets over 50%)
Have you installed a lot of additional apps?

This is with nothing installed except my contacts and diary. My TP doesn't do it and that has got a shed load of apps on it. hmmm

maybe someone else running the vodafone rom will pop on and say if they have the same issue.

Battery and Charging Icon issues

I have an odd issue. I am running the stock ATT rom until I can get the stupid phone to take the HardSPL (different issue being worked on).
The icon at the top shows the battery at full capacitiy all the time. I have Phone alarm on and it has a battery indicator that shows it as low as 20% while battery icon is still 4 bars full. Also there are times when I remove it from the usb and the charging icon stays on instead of showing the battery icon. If I soft reset then it seems to go to normal and the charging icon is replaced by battery which seems to always show full.
I am quickly getting frustrated at this ATT rom. My Kaiser was set up perfectly for my liking and I want to get this to the same point.

[Q] brightnes with notification bar doesn't work anymore

Finding, that the battery from the SGW drops to fast, I installed an so called battery saver app. Firstly I tried juice defender, finding out that I need Pro version to really save energy the way I want to -> deinstalled. Next I tried GreenPower free battery saver. Didn't notice, that switching off WLAN and G3/4 is also only available in pro version. Nevertheless I configured everything in order to give it a try.
Today I noticed, that GreenPower... switched on WLAN and GPS and Blutooth and every other power consuming device. Despite disply brightnes. For what?? So I uninstalled the app.
The problem now is, that GreenPower... switched the display brightness to automatic! Even at the widget "Energiesparmodus" ("powersavings"?) the sign for brightness shows an "A" for automatic. I can adjust the brightness at settings (1000 subfolders) BUT the quick cool sliding at the notification bar is not working any more.
Is there a possibility to switch it on again?
I'm rooted and have Titanium Backup installed with an full backup from last week.
Trying to recover notification bar did not work (screen notification "backup failed" and notification bar was gone; after reboot bar back again, with no brightness regulation).
Anybody with glue for this?

Personally recommend to not use a battery saver apps or some sort eg. when the screen is off data connection will be off.
And when you wake the SGW it will again struggle to look for the data connection signal ...that will take energy away from the battery.

What about installing a custom rom like Bionic cow? Had the same problem with the energy on this device with the stock rom and i tried different "saver"-apps.
At least i gave this rom a try et voilà even with intensive use the accu lasts much longer than before. I can't say why this rom reduces the energy consumption, maybe because of the lightweight launcer and some other modifications...

It stopped working for 3 days. On the 4th suddenly it worked again. Without doing NOTHING. I even didn't do another reset. curios
