And what kind of example would THAT set for the next thousand newbs that will come in here expecting to be spoon fed, down to doing their research for them and even spoon feeding them the download link of whatever they're looking for ?

It would get the point across in a more friendly way, while also, and more importantly, maintaining the rep of this site as a friendly-to-noobs forum. There are lots of forums out there that moderators and members are simply not very helpful.
On the flipside, if you can't find such a unique term as "touchflo" in this forum, you really aren't trying.
But here it is anyways: a ROM by duttythroy with it integrated, or this thread has what you need, which works on most any ROM. Enjoy.

i can not use function of search because i do not have fingers and keyboard to type with. OH WAIT!!! thats right.. YOU DO!!! try doing some real searching next time and to the person above my last post.. why did you have to? he needs to learn to do it by himself.. that was his first three posts and he needs to do it himself.

There's a difference between beeing friendly to newbs and spoonfeeding them. I will gladly help out newbs that have questions and are willing to do whatever they're trying to do, themselves. But I will not treat them like a baby that needs its a** wiped for them. You know what I mean ?

I could understand if he is constantly doing it. Or posting multiple threads. But he just started here. People are allowed at least one pass, or at least they should IMO. Help him, but make it known he should search first next time. Unfortunately, not everyone reads the rules and etiquette for the forum. Doesn't mean we should totally shut them down.

I am one of the new moderators of this forum and i would like to start off with a thread that talks about what changes you would like to see in this forum. Give me any threads that you might think need to be sticky'd and any other organization you'd like to see. I and another moderator, which will not be named yet, will discuss the best way to roll this out for everyone.

I am also the new moderator of the Excalibur and Smartphone forums. Please drop by and post your comments, concerns and suggestions.This is a Great Start to the forums. Please keep this thread clean and free from any redundant questions. Only post when there is a need to be.If you would like to see something happen, let me and pudgedaddy know. We will discuss and come to a conclusion to see if your request should be fulfilled.As a start, I would also like everyone to know to keep WAREZ out of Excalibur & Smartphone threads. Any user that asks for WAREZ will be warned and eventually banned if the question arises again.
In the near future, Me & Pudgedaddy will compile information to be stickied for your benefit. Any requests for sticky's will be looked into and only sticky's that deserve to be stickied will be stickied.

Maybe this will lead to a reduction in redundant questions by people who do not even bother to search this huge forum and its wealth of knowledge, if that is even possible. I think the most pertinent topics should indeed be stickied, along with deletion or condensation of old threads that are either not relevant, duplicated, or never received replies. Trim the fat, ya know? Thanks for committing your time and effort to make this forum as productive as possible!

I would definitely add a sticky to the wiki, but I'd also suggest you two be careful when sticky-ing things. If there are too many stickies, it ends up being the same situation we have now.
Cleaning up the posts we have now is more important than stickies.

Thanks for your feedback and wishes. We'll keep that in mind.
Phase 1 will be clean up mode
Phase 2 will be organization mode
Phase 3 will be sticky mode
and so on...
Check back for updates, comments etc.

This way everyone would know that the problem has been fixed. Sorry, if this is already possible. I cannot figure out how to do it. I was contemplating on closing it out but don't close it because if we do close it, then people who need help on the same topic could have issues that outerdepth didn't have. If you think closing it could help, then please proceed mikey.

Mikey & Pudgedaddy - Stickies need to be cleaned up i.e. every unrelated post should be deleted in my opinion. We shall split up stickies when I get a chance to talk to you guys then work on making this place much more organized as well as make it easy for newbies to get the information they need.Please comment.

My point is that I don't know where to go for what you want, & I suspect that many if not most people on here don't know either.
Imagine you own a car, a Ford, you want a spare part made only by Ford. Would you go to a Honda dealer? Same thing here, you may get lucky and someone may know but don't hold your breath...

I might suggestion you do a quick read through of the rules We now have a section devoted specifically for questions and answers, when you have a question please post it there. You can find the link in my signature. If you do not want to post in this thread or think your question may better be answered by the developer of a certain skin or app, then you may wish to post in their thread, or contact them via pm. Hello,
I cannot find anymore some very useful informations on WIKI, like, for example, the incredible useful collection of links to the cooked ROMs for each device, ordered by developer and date... The page of "Reconstructed ROMs" is empty and I think the amount of the useful links for different topics of each device was decreased.
As a real life example, I am currently looking to flash another, better and more up-to-date ROM on my Kaiser, but, without the collection of ROMs previously available for my device on WIKI, I don't have any overview of the current ROMs and it makes the choice pretty difficult
Would this situation be improved in the near future, or it's planed to remain like this (new vision)?

As part of the migration of the wiki we had many pages to move, (myself moved 500+) and the rest of the team moved many more. Inside each page there were more links to other pages and going through and moving every single one was VERY time consuming. Ill see if i can locate that page and move it over for you.
