v2.0 of my developer ROM is now available. Core/XIP is the official WM6 core. Bluetooth, Power Management, Communications Management and GDI are also from the official ROM. Most of the built in apps have been refreshed. Finally, for you Tom-Tom/VPN addicts, the DUN bluetooth profile is now available in addition to Internet Sharing!
Because my imgfs is completely custom, this ROM will report itself as follows:

This ROM will play 3G streams or local mp3s over A2DP in powersave mode to Coreplayer or Audio Manager. Unfortunately, WMP can't do this. This is because I forgot to refresh WMP
The Official bluetooth Handsfree Profile has been cooked into this ROM. This provides even better Car Kit compatiblity.
This ROM is free for you to personalize. I'm not in this for the donations (although they're always appreciated ), rather my primary focus is to give you a better Hermes. So, use this base ROM to learn the ROM kitchens then go make your own ExtROM for this to customize Today Screen etc. Simply add a file called preconfig.txt to /windows to enable autoconfig (you'll need to dump a production ROM to unravel the syntax btw) to run your extrom at cold-reset startup. Because Preconfig.txt has been removed, the base rom has no autoconfig and will go directly to the today screen.
Free storage memory remains at about 49MB and free program memory is 29MB. Displayed Today screen items have been reduced and re-ordered in this manner (note: the additional plugins are still present, just unchecked in Today settings):

The installer will also upgrade your splash screens to the Gold HTC Innovation theme. Your Radio, IPL and SPL will remain unchanged. However, for best results I recommend running a radio that's at least 1.40. AT&T subscribers in the US should upgrade to the v1.48.00.00 radio for vastly improved performance.
I'm using OliPro's latest RUU installer in this version and recommend installing using the SSPL option. Vista users: be sure to check out this guide for how to make SSPL installers work on your version of Windows. Or, jcespi2005 reports that with the latest WMDC (v6.1), you can upgrade through CustomRUU normally like in XP. WMDC 6.1 itself can be found here.

Sorry, but there are no fancy today themes, catchy colors or spectacular splashes included in this base ROM. All you get is performance and reliability. Bling is a personal expression, so you're free to add your own.

X-Button requires the latest versions of SPB Weather/SPb Time to correct the "Black Font" issue. The latest version of SPB Weather is v1.7.0 Build 767 and the latest version of SPB Time is v2.1.5.
The softkey editor settings are initially out of sync with the actual softkeys. Additionally, you must SR after the first time you use it to get your changes to stick. After that, the program works normally. This is a HTC bug unfortunately in softkeyapplet.cpl
executables stored on your SD card that don't have their own icons will flicker when viewed with the built in Filemanager. GSFinder+ does not experience this quirk. It's very unusual for a Windows Application to not have an icon resource built in so you will probably not even see this one. If you must see what it is I'm talking about, download powerstatus.exe from here, store it on your SC card then view the directory in filemanager.
Be sure to soft-reset after you complete the initial startup. This will activate HSDPA and initialize your WiFi MAC address.
Howto: Speed up CommManager and free up storage memory.
Use PHMRegedit to search for the value "DisableButtonText". Change this value from a 2 to a 0. Reset your Hermes by pressing and holding the power button then answering yes to the dialog that is eventually displayed. The downside is that you disable the "eye candy" interface too.

You mean when you autodetect on the bootloader selection screen?
If so its just that activesync hasnt detected the phone, disconnect, soft reset it, let it boot to windows mobile and plug the usb lead in again.. then try again.
Just flashed this one and noticed something strange.. My WiFi MAC has changed.. it isnt missing.. but it is weird and may be an indication of a WiFi MAC bug..
Its now 00-00-00-00-AC-9D which doesnt look like a valid MAC address..
Im gonna try it now and see if its still working.
/edit: It Isnt working, networks all come up as unavailable when I try to connect to them but its not the same issue as the DeadWLAN one as I CAN activate wifi.
hmmm.. seems that the solution is to turn on wifi, then soft reset.. when it comes back up your MAC will be right again and all will be fine.
Strange bug/error? Or just my device playing silly games?

Instead of auto, choose the version of hardspl that you have installed (boot to tri-color to find this)
Flashed again.. this time its changed too: 00-00-00-00-99-E1
powering on WLAN and Soft resetting has returned it too it's proper value.. Seems to be a weird issue where the ROM cant read the correct MAC on first boot.
Based on original Dopod Asia WM6 build:

I love PV ROM. It's pretty,stable and rapid.
Since I hope to always be with PV ROM, I got two suggestion for PV to help improve functionality:
1.When we create notes by One Note Mobile, we might insert pictures by Trinity's camera or audio files by recorder. That will take up too much space in main mermory. I think it's better to move the storage path to mini SD card. But we can't modify that path. There's no option in one note mobile.
2.If I unlock the Extended ROM by HTC_Trinity_SIM_CID_Unlock_v1, I will lose the GPS function immediately. I don't understand why. Maybe I should use an unlocker of newer version.
Hope the PV_ROM_0715 comes out as soon as possible. I can't wait.

Problem was that there was no download link except from pdaviet, were we cant log on as we dont know Vietnamese..

When you go to the bottem on the left side you can change the languige to English..! Looking further always solving lots of minor problems

Does it still have the slow boot bug or the "hang at bootscreen needing hardreset bug" ?
Does someone know it the IPL Update I have seen somewhere could fix this problem?
If someone can confirm this I switch back to PDAVIET Rom in a second as otherwise these Roms are great!

I have used Pdaviet ROM's from version .09 to .13.
Tried also Mun's ROM but it was buggiest rom I've never seen.
Haven't had any problems at all with Pdaviet. No hanging on boot screen nor calendar syncin problems. And it still remembers my wifi and email settings after softreset.
With version .13 I first time tried HtcHome and suddenly boot-time hang came to me also. So I did hardreset and disabled HtcHome and now I do not have any problems at all.
So try to disable HtcHome, it should help you with hanging.
I also read in some thread that if you use wisbar, there is option to boot on safemode if normal boot fails. With that mode it boots up without any plugins so you can avoid hardreset.

This ROM is very very good and fast !!!
I found 3 bugs in this rom, all are related to the batterstatus plugin
Bug 1) not critical but very annoying
-Batterystatus dies when customising htchome
(in some cases batterystatus can be restored by disabling CPu speed)
Bug 2) Cricital as this requires a hard-reset to fix
-sometimes the phone will hang if you reboot the phone by holding and pressing the standby button.
The crashes also seem to be related to batterystatus (over 50 tests to try and recreate the crash conditions the only variable found was that batterystatus needs to be running in order for the phone to hang)
bug 3)
In some cases, batterystatus and calendar cannot be toghether on the home screen, you have to choose one or the other(if both are selected only calendar will show)
Also in some cases there will be a memory leak, but i have not been able to reproduce the exact circumstances for the memory leak to appear (but at this point i am willing to blame batterystatus)

I've decide to start this thread for referencing defects found on MARY 3.5.x.
I've just updated to the 3.5.2 L version.
I will update my defects to reflect the changes..
This bugs are originally found on 3.5.0 L, i've marked the solved one:
PIE dont support wap wml pages (Solved on 3.5.2):
- PIE hang and continously try to access to the page;
- It's not possible to stop PIE;
- It's necessary to kill it thru a taskmanager;
- try this wap site to reproduce the problem: http://wap.ugc.fr or http://mini.opera.com
- the dlls seem to not be present;
- the missing dll seem to be wmlview.dll.
Emerstec JMM dont interact with .jad .jar files: (still bugged on 3.5.2)
- i not check but it seem to be because of dll lacks;
- it's also "due" to registry entries misses .
- Check the file EmerstecJbed.inf located on \windows directorie , it's seem to contain the necessary informations. Its certainly coming from someone "de français". Il contient des références et des raccourcis écrit dans la langue de molière.

- In the Format Cells option some strange words apear:
- Pitch settings are strange: start at 0,75...
- When you press OK after changing these option excel crashes.
- Also noticed that some options are misstranslated: Sort, Save, Save As and more...

I manage to fix the problem... Installed the Microsoft Office 6.1 over .... and then deleted all the original office files (from \Windows\) using Resco Explorer. Something strange apened because ROM files shouldn't be deletable... even after deleting those files from \Windows\ they still remain there... but with a smaller size.
Now it works fine!!!

Definitely needs to fix PIE temporary files.
Random access is extremely useful - please include.
Sim Manager needs to be added as it is a frequently used application.
Obviously need to fix Mail / MMS notification.
Please remove Live Messenger and OneNote

How is the Build 20757.1.4.0 which is lower than the V35 built as V35's build is 20924.1.5.0. Another question is V35 was not compatible with Windows Vista, has that been fixed in V36. Also what is the .net version included in this version, I am asking this is because I like the advanced config tool.
Kindly answer the same at the earliest.

QuickGPS does not work install SeaSGEE instead
I found one bug on this so far, when you try to open QuickGPS you get the following error "The file QuickGPS cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components, cannot be found" I tried reinstalling but does not solve this issue hence I am using SeaSGEE
this works better??
MMS install
MMS is not included in the rom. Anyone know which one works?
I tried all of them and were unable to get them working in V34.

2.The Interface of manila 2D now come with colorful and change the icon already.
3.All interface is black color
Worse
1.Quick GPS cannot on.
2.Dunnot can support Windows Vista Active Sync or not.

And V35 had a bug : When you clicked on a picture in the file explorer, the picture appeared just for one second, then u went back to the file explorer.
Does V36 correct this bug?

you can install Arcsoft MMS composer and configure for your network, it should work.
i think the guy tried all versions of arcsoft...but cant get it to work

mouse mode problem.
I made shortcut of mose mode from windows folder,
afer activating mouse disappears on clicking.
again deactivating and reactivating aganin same problem.

start quickgps, go to task manager, see it running, double tap it to change to running state, and you can update it...

Smart Dailing
I like this ROM but have some questions, issues:
- Is there a way to activacte the Smart Dialing ?
- Is there a way to add a "Phone keyboard" like as input method ?
- On the MessageTouchFlo page the "New" (top right of the screen) is not working. Is this a bug, is there a patch ?
- On the Mail TouchFlo page the I don't see all my mail accounts on righthand of the screen. Is this a bug, is there a patch ?

first experience: stable, fast, gps ok, quick gps ok. Sometimes seems to have lack of memory. Big troubles with email client: cannot access folders, found no way how to change setup of email and/or delete POP3 account (only "Text" is n the list of services).
