Radio Upgrade
I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to the latest Radio version without Hard Resetting the BA. Also the link to the Radio version 1.15 seems to be broken as it only links to version 1.13

Long time BA user, tried every WM5 ROM out there and just wish I was technical enough to try building one myself but I'm not. Just wondering though; since there are so many WM6 ROMS for the Wizard, and since the first WM5 ROMS were ported from Wizard... shouldn't we be able to get WM6 on the BA?

I was able to flash the radio after my WM5 upgrade.

PLS where is the guide and rom for upgrade BlueAngel from W2003se to W5? Wery thanks

HTC Sable / hw6915 and WM6

Hi guys,
Im one of the guys with a hw6915 who wants the upgrade that HP doesnt seem to be prepared to do any time soon....
Ive been reading as much info as i can, but im of the web programming/design/it support side, and less the programming/development side of things...
Im getting to grips with things i think, im going to need the drivers, the os and things and then need to cook a rom... therory is fine, but i need to pointers...
I read that i can use certain parts from the htcuniversal drivers ie camera/bluetooth/sound...
if a wm6 rom is coming for this, id like to help, or if i need to get this going with my limited knowledge but boundless enthusiasm then ill do that too.

hw6915 bluetooth manager not working
hi im new to this ive got a ipaq hw6915 witch i love had a problem after i installed a program it locked it in boot mode so i found a patch to re un boot but now my bluetooth manager just locks up the phone when i click on it & i cant up date my quick gps any more please can you help is there a driver or some thing????? its runnuing wm5 the bluetooth is bt-ppc/pe version 1.7.1 build 6700 please help me????????

drivers and other stuff to make a "clean" WM6 rom to be usable on hw 6915.

Heya.... Stupid question I am sure, but i am going to ask it anyways...! How do I load a bin file to update my 6915 with this eng rom please? I keep having massive failures and incompatibility issues with loads of other roms i have downloaded... drivin me nuts! I keep bricking my 6915, and recovering it with a handy tool i found...!!! but i am stuck with a french phone... drivin me nuts!!!!! Help would be very much appreciated! If anyone else is having 'bricking' issues of the phone stuck on the boot loader... ill drop the app here happily! Hope to hear soon!

Official WM6 ROM problem

Hi.. I've upload official rom to my hermes mobile, and now I want to back to Shap's rom.. So the problem is I can't. I start RUU from Shap's and can't find my SPL version, so I chose SSPL, complete next steps and I have a question to enter the bootloader on my hermes.. I agree,bootloader shows,and all stops.. For a while on PC i have infomation thats error 260(comunication faild)..Can You help me?

Maybe you could search this (WM6) forum for "error 260" ... include the quotes. It might give you some ideas.
Keep that in mind, and next time you might be able to get answers right away, instead of waiting 2 days+ for someone here to have the time to tell you.

iam a new member,i brought an imate jas jam some days before and it is very slow somebody told me to upgrade with wm 6.1 i dont know how to upgrade can anybody help me,and one more thing when iam playing any video on my phone it is not playing smoothly,can anybody help me.

But....
most of those links for downloads are no longer available......I've got a Herm100
that my dad bought on a telstra plan and has quite e few problems in regards to actually receiving a strong enough signal because he didn't update the device when the telstra guys wanted him to and the imate link that was provided to him is no longer available.I understand that it's not the latest and greatest widget but still......so I'm tryin to sort this device for myself and I'm finding it frustrating as .

I have tried various links but no luck yet. I do have plenty of patience but my internet connection speed and Mr. Murphy are against me.
Club I-Mate has WM5 version and some other sites have expired links.

New to I-Mate.

Hi there. I'm new to I-mate and I have no idea about ROMs, HTC and everything. I was reading through all posts and most links were not working.
Basically, my version of I-mate is 1.30.76 WWE and I want to update it to Windows Mobile 6. Is it possible to do this?
I tried going on the club I-mate website but I think they might be having some technical difficulties. Its not opening.
Can someone please give me step by step instructions as to how I can update my I-mate to a much better version or operating system.

Make sure your ROM unlocked. Remove SD Card. Put Uni into bootloader mode. Run upgrade app you've downloaded. Full instructions on Wiki (which is down at the moment).

I bought the I-mate new and sim free. I tried 3 different sim cards on 3 different netowrks and it worked. How do I make sure my ROM (what is it?) is unlocked? and how do I put I get hold of the upgrade application.
Also, when is the Wiki site re-opening?

Thank you guys so much! I managed to update my I-mate to WM6.1 following your signature links. Its quite impressive but I was wondering, is it possible to upgrade my Ram? Its currently 64MB. Could I increase it to 128MB or higher?
And also, are there WM6.5 for 64MB I-mates?

-Have a look on Universal section, there are some places where you can upgrade your RAM.
And yes Tomal v10 is WM6.5 and works on 64Mb Uni´s

Thanks! You've been of great help. I checked Tomal's v10 but the link to download is not working . Do you know of any links he has put up that work?

Oh never mind. I have found it. Thanks a lot you guys. You are the best! I'll start making my own roms and if I am successful, I will post them on this website. I-mate, Universal...... etc rock!
